Honestly never been here, but that review from Christine Casper was so rude I couldnt believe it. Karen energy right there. Feel bad for retail workers who have to deal with those types.

Love this place! The owner is amazing, the merchandise is so beautiful and carefully selected, it’s so well merchandised, and the vibe is so lovely. Amazing, unusual stuff at reasonable prices. If I lived here, I’d be a regular! Great place for gifts. Go here!

Ive been going to jolt! since they opened in San Anselmo. I havent popped by the Novato store yet, but I will. Its SO nice to find a place with affordable gifts, baby items, and a few racks of womens clothing, and such a friendly owner and staff. Carol is one of the kindest people I know. Last month, my 93-year-old mother and I were in the store and my mom fainted (I first thought it was a mini-stroke). They quickly called 911 and stayed with us, as did a helpful customer. Then, five paramedics came in with a gurney (filling the store), and did all they needed to do before taking us to the hospital. Mom is okay now (but did have a moderate stroke on Christmas Day a few days later), but the bottom line - Carol was so gracious, helpful and kind during this unexpected situation. I dont always buy something when I visit the store, but I enjoy popping by and seeing whats new.

Absolutely love this store and the owner. Always amazing finds as far as gifts and clothing. Love you Jolt!

Friday December 6 at 1:27 PM after an advertising push all week to support local businesses, I stand in front of Jolt looking at a sticky note Inside of a locked door. The note says they took a break.. Seriously? You want people to come to your new store and They take the time and energy to go to downtown Novato and find a parking spot on Grant, then walk to your store to a locked door in the rush of Christmas shopping? I Won’t be back

Rude, nasty, condescending. These are just some of the words I would use to describe the owner of this establishment.
