Friendly staff & great service! The cost was reasonable & they kept me informed about the progress on the repairs. They matched the color exactly! Looks like new!

My Nissan Armada was taken there for a repair per our insurance company for replacement of the rear door outer panel. When the vehicle was picked up, I brought it home and my wife noticed that the replacenebt panel was not aligned. When she tried to open the back door, she noticed that the door opened and she heard a loud pop. I tried and noticed that the back would not open at all. I called and took my vehicle the following day for corrective repair. They did look at and opened the door several times and it was working, but you could plainly see that the panel was not aligned. What makes it sadder was the general manager comes out, looks at it and sees nothing, imagine that. Of course the door was working, but the panel was still not aligned. I took the vehicle home, my wife looked at it and noticed that the repair was not fixed, the panel was still not aligned and this time she tried again to open the back door and it would only open half way and it would close. The door was not opening all the way. Took it back, mind you, this will be for the third time, and it was fixed by their standards. If somebody would have taken their time and checked the repair they would have seen the problem and the need for realignment which they did not. You also have a general manager or somebody higher looking at the problem and they cannot seem to see the issue but my wife that has no experience with body work does, thats sad.The pictures clearly show the panel was not properly aligned, the door not opening all the way, and why my wife heard the popping noise when she first tried to open the back door. That is something that somebody should have seen the first time, maybe second but the third time is ridiculous.

Everyone communicated really well with us! Chris kept us updated on the car every Tuesday and Thursday and they had the car finished before they could even get the parts from the manufacture five star all the way around. Amazing staff.

I was recommended to go to this repair shop by my insurance; but was very skeptical due to never hearing of them before. When I arrived the entire staff was super welcoming and professional. Best experience I’ve had with an insurance claim ever!! I live in Austin and this shop was up in the area promoting there hail damage because the Austin area was inundated with hail claims. They told me they could get me in the same week and have me vehicle back ASAP! I have a 2020 Ram 2500 and they where able to fix my vehicle in an impressive amount of time and when I got it back it shined and glistened more then the day I bought it. The customer service is amazing and they call to update you good or bad. The communication with clients is perfect. There shop is clean they are professional and do amazing work. This is not a paid promotion it’s just not common to come across such great service. Highly recommended!!

Esgar was very friendly and gave us all information that we needed to complete the repair. My door was ran into and they had to replace the entire door and I was worried that it wouldn’t match the rest of my car but him and the team did an amazing job with getting it good as new. I was so pleased with their work! We even had a chance to speak with the manager, John to fix another minor issue we had and he got us taken care of! We’re completely satisfied and if (hopefully not) we ever need a collision repair done again, we’re definitely choosing them! Thanks y’all!

I got an early morning appointment the day after my accident and things just got better from there. Over my head, but it looks very detailed and I can imagine why the price really was as high as it was.CONSThese aren’t problems, just factors that didn’t exceed my expectations. While my overall experience was very positive and would happily recommend Art’s to anyone, and would most certainly use them again, some things to consider.-They weren’t cheap- can’t say if it could have been done cheaper, with the same quality. But repair would have been hard to stomach without insurance footing ~70% of the bill.-Repair took 2.5 weeks, which caused a significant rental car fee. Again, I can’t claim the job was done slowly, or comment on why it took that long. They did complete the job under the estimated time, which was a relief.Ultimately I much prefer a job well done, then a rushed job, under-budget so I wouldnt hold any of these points against Arts.

We used Procare to replace stolen tail lights and damaged tail gate and they were wonderful! They went above and beyond our expectations and had the vehicle ready earlier than we were expecting. I hope I never need them again but if so, I will not use anyone else.

I was referred to this shop by my insurance company after severe hail damage. I spoke with Chris the entire time my car was there and had a very positive experience. Everything from the rental I was given to communicating with the shop was nothing short of professional and efficient. It was my first time having this experience of filing a claim and my car being in the shop for this amount of time. A repair shop of this size operating as effectively as they did in the middle of a pandemic was simply incredible customer service.

I would not even give them a one star our car was stolen from their shop under their care. They said cameras are not working and every employee has keys and codes to enter. Management states could have been someone they let go. Then miraculously our car makes it back to the shop with no signs of broken entry #InsideJobInTheMaking.When the car was stolen they said it was targeted because it did not have a GPS. And why would a disgruntled employee bring it back? They know who did this!!! Please do not trust this place!!! Police and CSI in the case!!!

They were excellent from beginning to end. They went above and beyond what I expected, and the repair has a lifetime warranty. The repair on my isblack Sienna is perfect. They even finished the day before their estimate, but they were fine with letting me pick it up the next morning due to schedule restrictions. I highly recommend them.

So they switched out my review mirror my toyota steering wheel emblem they switched 2 of my tires they also stole a fuse from the fuse box and they switched out my windsheild wipers they also work with geico to hurry up and finish cars fast so they can get paid quicker and there work was horrible i had paint chips missing 5 days after getting car back ooh and they also switched out my car antenna never ever go get your worked from them

First off, the incompetent receptionist told me I needed an appointment because she couldnt seem to find it. I had to wait for her to call corporate and after thirty minutes she apologized because she finally found my appointment. After that I was told to wait for an estimate and after thirty more minutes, I ask how much longer I have to wait because I had an appointment. The receptionist goes to the other room and a large man comes out wiping crumbs off his face. Apparently here donuts are more important than customers. I was told my car would be ready within the week because it was just a minor repair mostly just paint needed to be done. Two weeks later, I am finally allowed to pick up my car. When I go to pick up my car, I am appalled. The workers had scratched the tint inside of car and left big blobs of paint dripping. Steve (the donut man) said mistakes happen. After two weeks of waiting, one week more than the original deadline, Steve couldnt bother to check the work before calling that my vehicle is ready! Also adding to the frustration, one of tire rims was damaged from the accident which the shop was supposed to fix because they had fixed the other one. Steve had the audacity to argue with me about all the repairs to which I had to call my insurance again having them confirm that the shop needed to fix all those mistakes. The new deadline given to me was a couple of days. I called the shop continuously for the status of my car as those two days max came and left. No one could be bothered to tell me the status of my vehicle so I actually had to go to the shop myself to find they had still not started. The fixing of the shops mistakes took a week and a half. There are many repair shops in San Antonio. If you dont need your car for a month and you like arguing go here. If you just want your car fixed, go anywhere else.

Im picking up where I left off with my review on the SW military location. The shop manager did a great job from the beginning with making sure my issue with my case was resolved. He did order the correct headlight that was needed for my car and had the repairs done within 10mins at most.This is where the issue starts. When I left the shop I went to get my inspection done. The gentleman there asks if I had my car worked on recently... Yes the repair shop. He found sockets for a wrench under the hood of my vehicle....where my engine is.... Where sockets should not be left....I called the manager shortly after you let him know, this could have caused serious damage to my car. His response was not as apologetic as I hoped. Shortly after, the gentleman that was giving the inspection comes back in. He informs me that something derogatory was written under my hood, he wiped it off and would not tell me what it was.My car was bought brand new, there is no reason for work to be done on my car other than oil changes when needed. My car has been in the shop for the last month, they only people that could have done something like this are the body repair guys at procare collision. This is very sad... I was expecting to give this specific shop a high rating, then this.Bottom line is this location or the SW military location wrote something on my car and left sockets in my hood... Are either of these places where you want to go?

Over the years, Arts has done consistently flawless work with excellent customer service as an independent. Ownership has just changed hands, and now its part of a chain, so heres hoping it can maintain high standards in the future. 5 stars based on past experiences.

People there are nice. But my car has to go back for more repairs after they had it for 3 weeks and didnt get some of the repairs done. Paint work was great Bodywork was Fair but it was upsetting that a couple things werent done and they need to be done and Im having to go back. The location is good not easy to get to if youre coming from 1604 you have to go up make a turnaround cut through a parking lot so thats kind of a hassle especially if theres traffic

Front desk is nice, but the estimate doubled and the time it took to fix the vehicle took twice as long.

Worst management sandy can never answer the phone or come to the front. Hasn’t paid rental company in a month who are now contacting me about payment. On top of that never updated me about my car repairs until I persistently called one day only to be told it was ready.

UPDATE: REMINDER THIS IS NOT ARTs, but a Pro-Care FRANCHISE. THEY BOUGHT THE NAME, but this not Arts. Arts WAS the only place in San Antonio that I would trust to make auto body and paint repairs. I never work through insurance so it has always been a breeze. That was until my trip AFTER the once LOCAL shop became part of a Pro-Care Franchise. I took my car there not knowing ownership had changed. Huge waste of time. Even though their website states no appointment needed for a free estimate, I was told when I arrived I would have to schedule an appointment because the person working the front desk didnt have time to see if there was an estimator available. She didnt even offer to try to schedule me at that time and I just had to leave. I then called to schedule my appointment and found out that the ownership had changed. That makes total sense because what happened this morning is totally different than all my five previous experiences with Arts. I was willing to drive the 130 miles to have my car repaired by Arts, but since it is now a franchise, I will take my chances with an establishment closer to my current home. Very disappointed. If their new attitude at working the front desk is any indication, I dodged a bullet. Also...any review that is over 2 years old should be removed, as this is essentially a new business under the OLD name and NEW Management.

Assembled my truck back wrong after repaint. The side part of my bed was put in without aligning it to the gas entry hole, so it was bent and the hole has slight cosmetic damage...that is just lazy work. Wouldn’t recommend or ever go to this place.Reply to manager: nothing was resolved coming in...I solved it myself. I didn’t have the luxury to wait over the weekend without being able to pump gas into my vehicle. Second, your shop messed up my headlights one way or another. My headlights used to turn off when I locked my vehicle. Now they stay on after my vehicle left your body shop. Thanks for everything.

I have used them twice now and they are delightful to work with. They have the same, friendly staff everytime; they set expectations for you ahead of time; they are prompt at responding; setup a rental car for you and handle insurance easily.My parents and siblings also use Arts and this is how I was referred to them. I strongly recommend Arts as their work is great and they are timely and responsive.

I have used Arts Paint and Body for the last 20 years. They always up date me, return my calls and do a great job. Even when I needed warranty work on some paint 3 years later, there was no questions and it was taken care of. I will continue to use them for the next 20, but hopefully not often :-)

Marco Gonzalez was very kind and thorough in what needed to be done to repair my car. Although, I didnt get any repairs done, they were extremely helpful on the estimate. Its hard to find a collision center with good intentions.

I have taken my cars to ARTS for repair after I had an accident and also my husbands car. They are nice and courteous. Till recently they are under new owner. My sister took her car last Thursday for a fender bender and this is Wednesday the car they said would be ready on Thursday the headlight came in wrong color. I will write again when she gets her car back. They could use a front office clerk that is a little bit on the bright side...she seems annoyed. Maybe its all the work....just saying.

If I could give zero stars I would. Using them as a preferred vendor from my insurance company was a nightmare! They said they fixed all my issues from my accident. Yet, I took my car back 4 times before taking it to a dealer to find out and finally all the issues from my accident. Then the adjuster said maybe it was a warranty issue. Not with 700 miles on it. Turns out I had a hub assembly, control arm and the rod end that was compromised during my accident. It took the dealership 10 minutes to figure out what it was. This preferred vendor had my vehicle for 45 days and couldnt figure it put. They are either crooks or incompetent. Do not use them EVER!!!

John and his staff are wonderful, friendly and will go above and beyond to make sure you are 100% satisfied with the quality of your vehicle repair and service. Since it was going to take a day to fix my vehicle, John and his staff arranged a car rental with the shops discount and had the rental car place pick me up from the shop.

Just picked up my car yesterday and had a fantastic experience. Car looked great, was done earlier than expected, they did extra paint work at no cost to me to better blend the color, and cleaned my car so when I picked it up it looked new again. Ill come here again, I might even bring my mother.

They had not seen the car and had already lost it. I repaired it for less than what they said.They are irresponsible, the reception does not serve you well, only reluctantly, definitely do not waste your time there.

Receptionists are friendly and helpful, but they literally kidnapped my car and we had to call them to see what the status of our car was. And dont have Geico Insurance because they sent us to Arts, We thought for an estimate for a accident we were in, and they ended up trying to repair it without us even hearing about who was at fault. So we were going to end paying $1300 to have it repaired. So theyre in cahoots with Geico just to get you to pay for repairs either way. Were leaving Geico and will NEVER deal with Arts Auto Repair ever again.

So I took my car in about a year and a half ago to replace my front bumper as my bumper was worn and the plastic cracked where the bumper was attached to my car. I also had my fender liner replaced since it was damaged while driving with a broken bumper.I had the bumper and fender liner replaced out of my own pocket. I did not want to even attempt to deal with my insurance company.My first impression was great. I was assisted promptly and in a professional manner. The process was smooth and about a week later I went to pick up my car. I was excited because everything looked great etc.But then I took my car on the highway and immediately my bumper started making a horrible loud noise. It sounded like a piece of plastic repeatedly hitting a fan blade . Times ten. I mean it was loud.I took the car back and they couldnt figure out what the issue was but they placed some additional clips (something like that, Im not a car expert) and I was on my way. They told me that they test drove it on bandera rd and the noise had ceased. The problem is that it only happens at speeds of 70 and above. So of course they wouldnt hear it on bandera rd because the speed limit is max 60 mph.The problem continued as soon as I got back on the highway.I am in consulting so I live in different areas of the countries for months at a time so taking my car in during a weekday (they are not open on weekends) is near impossible. So I just lived with the obnoxious noise. I have since come to realize that the bumper liner flaps in the wind whenever I reach certain speeds on the highway.I have taken it back twice in the past year since then when I am back in town and both times I am helped promptly but then I receive my car and nothing is fixed. I wish they would just take my car overnight and fix the problem instead of brushing me off to whoever is available when I walk in.I am writing this review now because I still have to live with this obnoxious noise everyday when I drive. It is also embarrassing because it so loud and I can never drive people around. I cant even sell my car because nobody would buy it. I refuse to pay another body shop to have something fixed that was caused by ARTS Paint and Body.I am giving this shop two stars for their front desk staff who has sincerely attempted to help me get this problem fixed multiple times. I really want to like this shop from what I hear they have a great reputation. I realize Im a bit of a one off situation but I would still appreciate it if they could fix their mistake.

I went there based upon reviews on here and a coworker recommendation. They took there time told me a week when it actually took a week and half I didnt mind because I rather them not rush and get it right. When I went to pick it up spent a hour pointing out the mistakes they made and letting them fix it quick small things scratch here glue missing loose panel. The next day I noticed the hood and bumper were not lined up (both removed for repair). They fixed it took them a day. Now I look and find the bumper not lined up to the fenders. Wish i only had to go once.
