I pay for a motor and after 2months waiting for the motor .I was having problems getting my money back.i dont recommend to do business with that kind of people.and specialy with the son.they think that they can treat me just because he is the son of the owner.i never going back again in my life.!!!!!!

Went there today and they charged me $35 to remove the fan fan clutch from the water pump. Didnt know they ruined it in the process. After the old clutch wouldnt screw on the new pump I saw it had been damaged. I went back to complain and the answer I got was straight out of the Trump play book. He told me noticed it was damaged when he gave it back to me and that everyone always buy a new clutch when replacing the water pump. I said oh really, I dont think so. Anyway I should of went to AutoZone, but I wanted to support this local neighborhood business. I didnt get a refund, just a sorry excuse. That mistake cost me $35 to remove and damage the nut on the clutch plus $55 for a new fan clutch. I dont have $90 to pay for incompentant work Never again.

I went to this shop after getting work done at on a sbc 350 at another shop. Owner was extremely knowledgeable on what My goal was for the engine. Good customer service and they do not try to charge high prices for their work. I can not speak on others experiences, mine have been good thus far.

Yes, they do good work, and their prices are pretty good, but dont expect even any small favors. I called to let them know Id been delayed and they didnt even wait before locking up for the night. I didnt get there even five minutes after to pick up my cylinder head. Guess they dont want their money.

Business had my vehicle for a period of 14 months in which they were to perform several installations and repairs. This complaint addresses the improper assembly of the engine and the failure of the business to pay for the resulting repairs and damages. After picking the vehicle up from Moreno & Sons on Military Drive and getting roughly 3 miles from the place of business, the engine started making a loud repetitious banging noise. At first I believed the noise was improperly tightened rockers. The vehicle died two times from this point to the house which was only an additional 3 miles from the point the noise started (~6 miles from the shop). Once the vehicle was at my house, we began to look for the source of the noise, which we were unable to locate. I later took the vehicle to another automotive repair shop (14 months in 1 was no sign of quick resolution). The new shop discovered a dipstick and several additional metal pieces in the oil pan. It appears that the shop had installed a dipstick which was too long into the dipstick tube, resulting in it being pulled into the engine and causing the resulting sounds. I contacted the owner of Moreno and Sons (JR Moreno) about the findings and requested that he pay for the resulting damages and repairs caused. He told me that he refuses to pay for anything and that he never wants to see me again. I informed him that I will write the BBB, file a complaint with the Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board as well as take him to court over the issue.

These guys are great. Took in a head that another shop couldnt handle. Morenos gladly accepted the challenge and took care of it for far less money than expected. Glad I found this machine shop as it will be my go to place for any machine work in the future. Knowledgeable friendly staff. Thank you Morenos for everything.

Awesome quality work and customer attention. Had some lower control arms that needed some parts pressed out and pressed in to the new ones. This guys has them done the same day and for a fair price. Will go back for future business with them.

This place is absolute garbage! First they tried to tell me my vehicle need a whole engine swap! They are either incompetent or too lazy to diagnose the real problem. Second they didnt secure my vehicle over night resulting in it getting broken into. My Radio was stolen among other valuables. I will never recommend this mechanic to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
