I went in for a quote for them to install new speakers I purchased online. The owner came out to look at what I purchased and to look at my car. We made an appointment and my car was kept overnight to complete the installation. I am happy with what I ended up with, the price and service.I will like take my other car to them to upgrade the sound.The installation included component speakers in the doors, a small 4 channel amplifier and one mini sub in the trunk. They made it so I could keep my front and rear view cameras.

I first came to Sound Master to repair a bad sound system installation performed by a different shop. SM identified many errors (subs wired in wrong Ohm load, amp wired incorrectly) and fixed my issues. They rerouted all cables and wiring out of sight. I returned a month later for an alarm install and again was pleased with their skills. Very knowledgeable, professional, and great pricing. I now rely solely on Sound Master for my truck mods.

Would recommend this place to my friends and family.. I had my truck broken into last week. I didnt feel comfortable bringing it back home until I had a good alarm in it. After calling around and most shops couldnt get me in for at least 3 weeks and didnt have the alarm I wanted. I stopped by Sound Master on a Saturday around 10am. Explained my situation and what I wanted done. He was able to get me in. The same day and I picked my truck up later that day. Very happy with my Viper alarm/remote start 1mile distance and cheaper then the big chain shops. Installer walked me through how it worked also. Thanks again guys. I can sleep again knowing my truck is safe.

Called ahead to get a quote as they are a pretty far drive for me. I was to have a stereo and licence plate camera installed which they quoted as $100. I arrived and was given a different quote of $220, claiming I never mentioned the backup camera. I put it to miscommunication and agreed to pay the $220 ($100 for stereo and $120 for backup camera installation). 3 hours later and everything is installed, only to find the backup camera doesnt work properly. They did not bother to test the camera before installing it (new out of the box), so I am stuck getting a replacement, which I got.At this point I call back today to find out how much to put on the new licence plate camera. Keep in mind that the wiring running from the tailgate to the stereo is already done, the new licence plate camera has been placed, ALL that needs to be redone is the wiring running through the tailgate hatch door. This is about a 20 minute job, tops. They want to charge $120 again. There is no way that I would be willing to be $240 for a job that should not have been started without testing the equipment in the first place, or paying full price again for simply just running wire through the tailgate hatch as the wiring running from that area to the stereo has already been previously installed AND paid for.Place is a rip, go elsewhere.Update:After posting my review Sammy, manager, did contact me within an hour to offer to have me bring in and drop off my vehicle on Sunday. I did not want to drop of my vehicle as that means paying for an Uber back and forth which would probably cost about $30 to $40 total, due to my distance. I mentioned Tuesday as I might have time to hang around while my vehicle was being worked on and they should not be too busy on a weekday morning.However, I have been dealing with this unusable rear view camera for about a month now, with $120 and 3 hours of sitting around the first time, plus I was not too happy with the initial work of course. I decided instead to reach out to a mobile service. I told them the situation and explained the work. They came to me on Sunday and for a vastly reduced price, since they were only running wire through the hatch, finished the work in the time it would have taken me to drive to Sound Master Tint & Alarm, about 20 minutes.So on the upside the stereo was installed correctly for $100 and the manager did reach out to me after I wrote a review. Still, I would not go back again and have nixed the plans I had to install the subwoofer and amp. If I could do it again I would have contacted a mobile service instead. They charge the same but will come work on your vehicle at your home or work so there is no lost time.I definitely appreciate Sammy reaching out to me, and that goes a long way. Maybe I could have done a better job of communicating over the phone and things would be different, though I still believe all equipment should be tested BEFORE it is installed so situations like this can be avoided. Thats common practice, at least in my industry and just seems like good sense.

They installed a Clifford Remote Start Alarm about 4 years ago so my dog could accompany me during the sweltering, summer San Antonio heat. I could easily cool the car down before he got in, AND have it running without any one stealing the car. It worked great and my dog loved it. My paging remote took a swim and was a little bit up from previously mentioned dog (it was technically HIS alarm and remote start😏) and wasn’t working as it previously did. I used the back-up remote that came with the unit, but I wanted a spare in case I lost my keys. Today they programmed it fast and didn’t even charge me for it!

Dropped off my new to me truck, to have a Ranch Hand grill guard installed and to tint the rear windows and these guys killed it! Brush guard looks great on the truck and he did a great job making sure it was centered and level. The rear windows look great now and the tint is free of any defects or bubbles, only wish I would have gone darker vs the 35% I got. Thanks again! I’ll be coming back when I’m ready for the next upgrade.

Terrible place they charged me extra for stuff I didn’t even need and they messed up my audio and I can’t hear anything come from my car speakers. They didn’t want to fix it and they want to charge me more to do other things after I already paid 600. Terrible audio store would never return here again. And the wires sold to me went out after a couple months so I need to go buy new rca cables and connect it all again

Ive known Mohammed for years and his crew does impeccable work for a very fair price. The tint is flawless and they were able to fit me in quick and turn the truck around even quicker. The Texas heat in August is brutal but theyve made it a bit more bearable - we will definitely be bringing our other vehicles here for the tint upgrade.

Taken two of my vehicles to get tint placed in the last 18 months and would highly recommend their services. Most recent visit was late on a Sundday afternoon and Mohammed stayed almost an hour past closing time to ensure that we could pick up our vehicle as it was needed for work the next morning. These guys go the extra mile. I had them do a bit of work on my car but my primary concern was this rattle sound. Sam took that rattle like a personal affront to his good name and jumped through some impressive hoops to track it down and eradicate it. He wasnt happy until I was!

Worst experience with car alarm! Mohammed blamed me for scratches on a new remote and wasnt very professional and wouldnt do business here again. “ I dont know what you did with alarm” within a hr I brought it back and thats what he said! Dont fall for all the great ratings.
