Quiet relaxing atmosphere. Good vibe with plenty of street parking. There are a few options to choose from with two barristas working the counter. We walked in a little before noon on a Sunday and it was peaceful. The barrista was quiet and just getting started it looked like. I showed her the coffee I wanted from a photo and she knew immediately which one it was. The prep took a bit but this is not just an ordinary coffee it’s art. Delicious and perfect for a Halloween treat.

The little (pronounced ‘Susie’ - spelled uniquely) has jumbo marshmallows on top of coffee, that they torch to crisp/melt the marshmallow, topped off with chocolate syrup. Really cute space. Employees are very friendly and gave great recommendations. I tried the Lotus drink which is supposed to be a natural energy drink paired with a sparkling water. The flavor was great in my opinion! My friend had the Bexar latte and he was a tad disappointed as he couldn’t taste the cinnamon. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be coming back.

If you want to enjoy delicious coffee while taking in the view of the largest military medical/combat medic training facility in THE WORLD (Fort Sam Houston), then Folklores Coffee House is for you! I tried the Pumpkin Churro Latte, but I highly recommend el vato Loco! The drive leading up to the coffee house has quite the historic aesthetic. I definitely recommend adding this spot to your San Antonio coffee tour.

Super cute, little cafe. The staff is so friendly and kind. They have a small, but great menu. Quite affordable. There are two tables and a couch inside, and a cafe table outside (so not large at all). Place was clean (bathroom was spotless) and there’s lots of interesting artwork on the walls.

So we were going all over trying to find a shop open and BALAAM we found this Gem. Walked in and the guy at the counter was awesome, he didnt rush us, Hector helped us out and explained everything, also he didnt take his time preparing the drinks, and they didnt disappoint.

Drove from Devine to meet with gal pal who drove in from Wimberley just to check out something different.This place was so worth the trip. A clean friendly local business. The owner is so positive and entertaining. .A true asset to the San Antonio community. This place was wonderful! And their coffee is no joke, it is powerful, flavourful, and nicely spiced if you get a specialty coffee. I had the Oi¡ and the cinnamon flavor was excellent. It was also good to be in a safe place. Im so glad this place speaks up for the immigrant and lgbtq communities. We went on a Sunday and it was quiet and comfy.

Cool vibe and decor, but the coffee wasnt as good as Id hoped, based on the reviews...Not bad, just okay. Its worth the stop if you enjoy exploring new cities via what I call, Coffee hunting expeditions. Its a cool way to see different parts of a city, often times tucked away in places you might not otherwise explore.

This place is great! Its a great study spot and also their drinks are delicious! Siouxsie drink was perfect and that smore made everything even better. The smore was pretty big and I cant complain. Staff is always nice when I come by. Will continue to come back for more!

My sister and I walked in a bit confused as to where to go and what to order.We were greeted with smiles and two ladies who helped explain where the menu was and where to pay. The cashier was incredibly sweet and helpful. The coffee was great...I had the joker which was super fun with cereal on top. My sister has a light roast and another specialty coffee she loved them both! The atmosphere was wonderful. Absolutely recommend!

I absolutely loved the vibe of this place!! The workers were personable and kind. The drink choices were unique and cute. I got the Vato Rudo which has horchata and coffee in it. It was tasty, but it’s only for the sweet tooth.

Nice cafe with friendly staff, cant speak for the fancy drinks as I only had a plain latte, however it was not bad, but nothing to rave about. Location is great, Id still return for sure.

Got a speciality drink the Cuban and man the guy knows his craft. Drink was perfect for a hot and humid day. Space is small and cozy. With tables outside if you would like that option as well.

Wednesday cool day in the 40s so I didnt ride and decided to stop here for an Espresso! Fred made me a great espresso and we talked for a short while as the store was empty. Definitely good coffee. I will come back again, soon!

I recently just found this gem, best discovery ever! I got the tagalong which was so amazing from the look of it to the taste. All I can say is.. WOW it’s so yummy and not too sweet. I believe the lady working there was Morgan, she’s so sweet and helpful. Will be back soon!

This is a cozy hole in the wall coffee shop with great eats and friendly customer service. On arrival we were greeted with smiles and all of our questions about products on the menu were answered thoroughly. The food was so delicious and wasnt too sugary. This was super important to me because I do not like sugary foods. So any sweetness came from the honey or the berries. The cbd shot in the sheena coffee was super relaxing and didnt hinder the taste of the coffee. Lets just say I was super relaxed during my visit. Each of these items alone were perfect and filling for breakfast or lunch alone. You could come in for a coffee and a fully loaded bagel and leave feeling super satisfied. The CBD shop was cute and cozy and the juices were so delicious. I purchased a sample of the juice and you could tell it was freshly made and again, the CBD oil did not hinder the taste of the juice itself. I love comeing here. Its always homey and friendly. There nice selection of stuff to eat or snack on. There cold drinks,hoy drinks. Even have a cbd shop inside for ur cbd needs I recommend the juices. And yes there is Wi-Fi I personally like to come over and get a tea and cbd juice everyday .

This is a hidden gem!! Really enjoyed their coffee. The picture I provided is one heck of a banger and don’t forget to add the CBD oil that they offer. It’s a $4 CBD shot but totally worth it if you’re looking to chill out and enjoy a nice coffee spot and connect with friends. Plenty of space too! Customer service was astounding as well and it’s hard to find a good coffee shop that has this kind of service!

A couple of friends and I went to visit this coffee shop this morning. It was amazing. The people who work there were so kind, extremely kind I have not experienced this anywhere else in San Antonio. Their house coffee is so delicious no need for cream or sugar. And their specialtuly drinks are a perfect blend blend. The atmosphere in this place is super chill and so comfy. We felt at home in the coffee shop. They have a take a book leave a book library. Couches and chairs and tables. You can work there or just go and cbill. I will most definitely be back. Oh and its close to lackland afb just a little bit of off i90. Check this place out!!!!!

Cute place. Staff was nice. I was really looking forward to the drink with the roasted marshmallows on top because I had seen the pics for several months on FB. Ordered that drink and couldn’t wait to taste it. Unfortunately it tasted like dirty water. Seemed very watered down or something. A few days later I saw them post there was something wrong with their machine so that may possibly be what it was the day I went as well. I will be trying again one more time and am hoping I can change to 5 stars.

All my siblings and I are very grateful and blessed. I am writing this because my mom went home to the Lord she earned her wings on May 3 at approximately 8:00. She was 91 years young and left 2 son and 5 daughters and 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. AGAIN, THANK FOR YOUR GENEROSITY AND YOUR BIG HEART. Cute little coffee shop on S. Flores! it is nice to see businesses revitalizing the area. I was super excited to grab a coffee and sit and journal or read for a bit. I ended up just grabbing a coffee and pastry to go. I do plan on visiting again, however there was no where to sit!!!I would recommend maybe some tiny tables to be put in for seating for 1 or 2 people. The tables they had were taken and one large table with space for 4 was taken up by either an employee or an owner?? Out side they were having an event and I got to buy some lovely items, however no seating was available outside either. The pastry was not fresh and i was disappointed they had no other items available to snack on.

One of my favorite coffee shops!! Good selection of drinks and they carry pastries from area small bakeries. Very cool and comfortable atmosphere (a huge step away from very commercial coffee shops) which makes it a place you actually want to hang out at. They have a variety of events like book readings/signings, art expo, market day, etc!! Fun and cool and the owners are genuinely fun and cool people!! Gotta check them out!!

Love a place where you can get something fun and unique for the same price as (or less than) something from a chain. The atmosphere is really chill and cozy, and I love going there to work or just relax. Im so glad its close to my job!

Really impressed by this place. Not your run of the mill coffee shop. Had a blonde roast coffee, a coffee drink with cereal milk, and bread pudding. It was all really good, though not necessarily traditional. Highly recommend checking it out if you like fresh creative takes on coffee or if youre feeling adventurous.

Myself, my partner, and our friend had gone to yalls shop today and we were excited as hell to support a local business. But all that changed when the cashier was really snarky with us. Telling us that we couldnt do certain things with our drinks. We ordered 5 drinks, 2 that were supposed to be cold and they werent. The other 3 were wrong. 7 people came in after us and recieved their drinks before we did! I understand that your space is small and you have limited people, but it was very unprofessional to be serving other people in front of us for 10 minutes. Then to top it all off, we got an extra drink that wasnt even ours. I want to give yall another chance, but spending 20+ dollars on the wrong coffee kinda sucks.

Went there to buy CBD oil muscle rub and ended up trying their Iced pumpkin caramel with whipped cream coffee. Very delicious. Festive, Friendly and busy. They had a Golden Girls party going on.

I tried the Vato Rudo and a bagel since they were out of the other munchies so next time I’ll be a little earlier. It has nice cozy rockabilly/texican vibes with their wall art, I like the little patio area, they have plenty of parking. Will definitely be coming back here to try the rest of the menu since what I had was really good, starbucks who? Their service was fast and the owners were really nice.

I absolutely adore this place. The interior is homey and vibrant. Its what I would call Grandma Chic😉. The straight drip coffee from 1885 roasters is great black. Its a great space.

Quirky Southside authentic, really a relaxed joint with great personality to boot! Love the decor and the staff is always up to suggest something that will fit your taste. Love the art and local flair that really give this coffee house a high rate for me. That and the fact they are active and really involved with the community so even more of a reason to be a patron, that and the coffee is really amazing!

I loved this place, full of character and really cozy, I was greeted immediately upon walking in. There were a few fun options for coffee and some regular cups of Joe if youre not that adventurous. This is place I would definitely bring my visiting friends and family to show them a cool coffee spot.

A visit to the coffee shop is a must. Step in and try one of their delicious signature drinks. While there, have a seat on one of the couches and relax as you enjoy your beverage.

I have discovered there’s no such thing as too many marshmallows in your hot chocolate. So yummy! Also recommend the red velvet muffins.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Folklores. Pros 1.) seating: There are stools and a variety of couches so you can lounge or be productive 2.) the drinks: they have specialties so you really feel like you are at a unique place 3.) it’s locally owned...like south side local😀 sorry gentrifiers this one is authentic 4.) playlist was spot on (90sand early 00s jams that weren’t overly loud) I will definitely go back and recommend to others.
