The staff was warm and welcoming. The bakery cases display a decent sized selection of various pan dulce, cookies, cake and others. Everything looked amazing, its obvious that much care is put in to baking everything. Everything we tried was great. The strawberry taco and blueberry cream cheese empanada 🥟 were the highlights. I loved that they also had hot coffee and lattes. The flavored latte was the perfect pairing with some pan dulce on a cold morning. Well worth the stop.

My husband and I stopped in from out of town and I just wanted to let you know the people behind the counter were so kind and hospitable. The treats were fantastic and they took the time to explain what things were and gave us some recommendations. Not only that, but the pointed us in the direction of some amazing food. The atmosphere of this place was definitely worth the stop.

I cant rave about this place enough!!! The store is beautiful, clean and cozy. The customer service is top notch!! My son got me hooked with just one valentines concha lol, now I will drive from the 1604/Helotes area just for the conchas and the tiny conchas for my tiny girl ❤ you will absolutely love this place!! We do!

The empanadas are delicious, cookies crazy good and all our drinks so far have been tasty! They have dairy replacements as well. The real show stoppers are the pastries, and they sell day old items for a discount price, so i always leave with extras

Delicious Pasteries (Blueberry cream cheese empanada was AWESOME) and Great Coffee. Reasonably priced, with Friendly service.The Mini Conchas were a perfect size for my Gma or anyone who cant finish a traditional sized one.

I have eaten pan dulce from various bakery shops in San Antonio. I was a bit skeptical ‘cause I haven’t found the best pan dulce when I made my purchase. Took the first bite, okay, this is good. Next bite, omg before I knew it I ate the whole empanada in 4 bites. If anyone is visiting this city, this is the true representation of what pan dulce should taste. I have to calm down before I make another purchase. Too much of a good thing is bad!

Great pan dulce and even better people! Ive never had mango, blueberry/cream cheese or cajeta/apple empanadas before and now those are some of my favorites! Also they have delicious coffee and auguas frescas.

I had a great experience here. I went late in the day so I didn’t try the sandwiches yet, (they’re available for lunch) but I got a bunch of pastries. The cherry empanada was Great along with the skull sugar cookie. I also like the macaroons they were super moist. As far as the Mexican specialties...I really like them all. I didn’t grow up with these treats, but they certainly satisfied me and my roommate. I highly recommend going.

Sink your teeth into a delicious coconut macaroon or their authentic Mexican cookies and know its being done right. Their outstanding service and friendliness is also amazing. Will make more trips to try other pan dulce and drink options. Super clean, and well kept.

What a delightful panadería! We walking in to a clean, inviting, and warm environment. We were given samples of their most popular pumpkin empanadas and house coffee right off the bat. Sold! We tried pumpkin, guava, pineapple, apple, and cherry empanadas. ALL delicious! The house blend coffee was also perfection. But above all that, the service was so friendly and thoughtful. I highly recommend this gem.

Very very good! The chocolate eclair taste so good; it went great with the Abuelita Chocolate. It was very relaxing sitting outside their little patio set hearing the cars go by... Definitely recommend this place 👍👍👍

I just ordered and ate the most delicious cookies from Jimenez Panaderia. They were crumbly, but had some corn flake crunch and lovely chocolate swirl on top. I only got three and I am highly regretting my decision. Great place, morning staple with out a doubt.

This place was great! Vegan bakery options clearly labeled, friendly staff, delicious cappuccino and americano! Loved the art on the walls. Will be back for more pan and coffee.

Really wanted to love this place, but for $4 a danish I was expecting it to be better tasting, it wasn’t very soft . Each item I bought looked just the same as something I could buy at a Mexican panadería for a lower price and better taste. Cute place though.

Theyre such a warm group of people and the food is so good.

Today my mother and I drove out to try this panaderia. We got a little of everything and we are impressed. The pecan danish was great and the cookies are excellent. We have yet to try the empanandas we bought, but they have every flavor you can imagine. I did not try the coffee nor the hot chocolate but that is alright, we have something to look forward to on our next trip there. You should check it out!

We received a cherry pie for Christmas. It is absolutely delicious!! I can’t wait to go and try their menu.

Prices are too high. Went there for pastry and it was ok...looks good but flavor just ok. Prices were high for items compared to other panaderias i was disappointed. I can get good Mexican and other Hispanic flavors pastry much cheaper in Northwest area.

Place was so clean, gentleman was cleaning the door handle on our way in. Pan dulce was fresh neatly displayed. The staff was really friendly, it was our first time there, definitely not the last.

I have absolutely no idea how this place has a high rating. The food is bland and the service is lazy. All three of us tossed our food in the garbage… That’s including our five-year-old and all he had was chocolate cake. There is no excuse.

Everyone is friendly. They were more than happy to give suggestions and answer questions. The hazelnut frap is creamy and the Mexican coffee with Mexican chocolatatatte will wake you up! The pastries are super soft and moist.

Super clean and modern. Fredericksburg Rd. needed a place like this. Scrumptious Mexican sweet bread. Great coffee; Costa Rican is the best. I found my getaway.

Great spot! The deli makes a killer sandwich for lunch that you must try. I would say that is largely because of the phenomenal hoagie they put out. They have a large variety of pan dulce and to top it off they offer amazing customer service.

Very friendly staff. Variety of baked goods to choose from. Excellent Mexican hot chocolate. Even got a free sample of something fresh out of the oven. Wish I knew what it was before I inhaled it because it was delish!

The place is cozy, their service is excellent, and the best part they have mexican pastries. Starbucks has nothing on them. I had the chocolate abuelita, I was expecting the traditional taste, but they have their own recipe and I must admit I loved it.

Was a very pleasant bakery coffee shop I would strongly recommend to everyone! Staff is very friendly and helpful breads are soft and are delicious! Beautifully decorated! I say it is a pleasant addition to the Jefferson Decco District!

Very quaint, and peaceful bakery. Id like to go again to do homework or read. They have a large variety of coffee. They have amazing Mexican hot chocolate and the pan dulce is great. I highly recommend kolaches. I didnt order one but ate half of my moms. So good!

Asked if I could have the coffee-chata hot, and they obliged. I know its a panaderia but the cinnamon roll looked scrumptious, I couldnt resist. So glad I chose it!! The cinnamon roll was perfect, just the right amount of moistness to not be dry. The right amount of icing with fresh chopped nuts. I also tried a brownie, wow - small hints of Mexican chocolate or was that just my imagination being that Im in a panaderia after all?! LOVE THIS PLACE, definitely a return customer!!!

This is a neighborhood treasure in the Deco District. Nice place to hang out and have a Mexican hot chocolate, pastries, and sausage kolaches. The restaurant is attractive and inviting to couples and small groups.

Had the pleasure of being a part of their first official day of opening, waiting in line I received a freshly baked slice of cinnamon roll. This quaint little cafe/panaderia will make you feel like you are in a high-end city loft with its sleek design and metropolitan atmosphere, very relaxing and cool feel to it. I was also told the owners are from a family of bakers who have been doing so for 50 years, and you will be able to tell once you try their baked goods. Awesome addition to and representation of the Deco District, so glad to have you in the neighborhood! I ordered the Pumpkin Empanada along with a Mexican Chocolate Coffee, both were a delicious treat that made my afternoon. Thanks! :)

My wife and I go here frequently. This bakery does it right. Awesome hours, great spot to go for a quick bite or to pick up a box of conchas for the office. Staff are wonderful, Frank really cares about his products/quality and the atmosphere is perfect. Lucky to have this bakery in our neighborhood. Try the kolaches, pecan bread and those ridiculously soft and delicious conchas! Thanks!

A coworker brought their kolaches and pan dulce in for breakfast and wow!! The kolache bread is so buttery and flaky and its the perfect bread-to-meat ratio! Theyre also a perfect, bigger size. The pan dulce is not only beautiful, but they taste as good as they look! Will be returning myself!

Wasn’t to happy going to this panaderia for the first time and it will definitely be the last. For one the sweetbread wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. It looks good but I wasn’t happy with it what so ever. I still highly recommend Mario’s bakery on castrovillw. . I have been going to Mario’s for years but wanted to try a different panaderia . I told my family, friends and coworkers that this panaderia was as good as it looks. Not worth it. On top of that the lady at the register charged me for an extra cookie when I only ordered 1 cookie as will as a few other pastry’s and I didn’t seem to notice until I left and looked at the receipt . When she knew I only bought 1 cookie cause again it was my first time going so I got a coupe of different pastry’sand one cookie to try and she charged me for 2. It’s definitely was my last visit. Sticking with Mario’s !!

Great bread but the girls at the front dont know what the bread is called in Spanish. I ordered cuernitos Ana marranitos and got something completely different. I know I should have paid attention but come on its a Panadería!

This is a great place for a coffee shop right in the heart of the Deco District of shops on Fredericksburg Rd. The frappuccino was just the right level of chocolatey and the fresh empanadas filled with pumpkin and apple where light and delicious. And being Halloween, they also had freshly baked decorated cookies.I enjoyed a relaxed visit sitting at the counter facing the floor to ceiling windows at the front of the shop and fully entertained by the activity outside and working on my laptop using their guest Wi-Fi. Ill definitely be coming back frequently.
