Although the lady messed up our orders, she said to come back and she did made us the right order. Price are a bit expensive but food tasted good so far.The beef stew(broth wasnt hot but its ok I guess, well just heat it up when go home) and banh mi are good. Soups broth is good. I havent tried the BBH yet.

...so I wanted to write a more detailed review of this FAVORITE spot of mine and I had not been there for a while. I visited last week and discovered that their menu has expanded and I was A BIT tearful...I just had THE BEST PHO in San Antonio since I moved from NYC. I have tried other spots in San Antonio and by far SP CAFE (new short name, THANK YOUUUUU 😅 ) has the richest flavors. I appreciate you SP cafe. You keep my tongue curious and the belly happy...

I came in and ordered three bahn mi sandwiches for some coworkers and I. I waited over 40 minutes for them. About 25 minutes into waiting I asked about the sandwiches while I watched people who had ordered after me get their food. The cashier “checked” on them and said they were making them. I’m pretty sure they forgot about them or lost the ticket.Once I got back to the office, I noticed that two of the three sandwiches were missing the vegetables. So they were just meat and bread which is not what I ordered.

The shredded chicken sandwich was SOOOO GOOD!!! A bit of a spice kick with jalapeno, some cucumber and carrot, and I thing green onion. And the chicken was so tasty. The bun was perfectly toasted. Oh man definitely coming back!

I came in to order a Boba excited to try the place. The guy at the register is wearing his mask under his nose which in itself doesn’t warrant a bad review. However as he proceeded to sneeze multiple times into his hand and then grab my cup to make the drink without a glove or washing his hands my comfort level is exactly zero. We asked him to please wash his hands and get another cup. He washes his hands, puts one glove on to get a macaroon I ordered. Takes the gloves off. Gets another cup and proceeds to make the boba tea. I’m not one to complain so I’m just going to throw it out when I leave. This is gross. I’m not sorry this is so gross.

First off hats off to this place because they are open on Sunday and till like 10 pm. Love the hours! Whether you are getting a flavored tea or a Coconut Taro Smoothie (featured below) this place does it right! Great flavors service is always good and friendly and quick! They have pastries which are all fairly priced and fresh no complaints there and I have tried most! Had several different sandwiches there and they are simply delicious! They make them quick and the portions are surprisingly filling. Location is near the DraftHouse cinema and haven’t found an issue with the place despite many visits. Grabbing a coffee, a shake to go or sit down for a great meal this place is perfect.

They got some delicious banh mi and sandwich. Good drinks too. I wish the customer service and cashier are little more friendly and welcoming. They definitely need some improvements on customer engagement and listening. I had repeatedly ask twice for my sandwiches. Overall is good restaurant. Ordered two banh mi, F1 and F8 I liked the vegetarian band mi the most F8. Highly recommended.

Crazy drink was definitely different. Filled with different fruits and seeds. I liked it. Im a picky eater and it was all newish to me. Will definitely be returning :)

Boy howdy this was such a refreshing experience. Within my group we got several milk teas, different versions of iced coffee, sandwiches, pho, and buns. Everything was so good and service was efficient.

Its been a while since Ive been here and theyve certainly added more than what I remembered. A few years back, I remembered mainly the cakes, mousses, and the like. Today, they have the breakfast menu, banh mi sandwiches and more.I met with a friend of mine and I got the breakfast croissant combo which came with turkey and egg on a croissant and coffee. There were several other meat options but I had chosen turkey. They also had juices to choose from but I wanted coffee. The combo was good. My friend had the Jasmine milk tea with tapioca and she enjoyed it.I bought a few breads to try - coconut bread and coconut pandan bread. Looking forward to trying them!

Food is super delicious along with their extensive drink menu. It’s been a while since I’ve been and it really does hit the spot. The people are really kind and take care of you and the food never disappoints.Also, the coffee is pretty bomb. Check it out!

Probably the best banh mi Ive ever had, definitely the best Ive had in SATX. The pho was hot and delicious, the bread on the sandwiches was crispy and all of the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The restaurant itself could have been a little bit cleaner, but the food leaves very little else to be desired in my opinion, definitely check it out next time youre up near North Star.

First time here and the experience was excellent! Staff is very welcoming. Family own business is always comforting. Asian culture is also comforting. Restrooms are extremely clean! The choice of seating here is perfect - I almost took a nap on the loveseat.Cafe latte blend and matcha green blend are recommended and both are delicious.

Passed by this place and decided to walked in for an Asian drink. Look what I found! This French Fusion cafe are full of surprises. Their sweet/desert are not too sweet but full of flours, and smoothies are made from real fruit! Cashiers are very nice and helped me to pick up my desert! See pictures below. To those love Durain fruit, you ought to try their Durain smoothies with bubble (tapioca pearl)!

The people that recommended the meals were very tasty. It was well prepared and very well seasoned. Definitely making a trip back!

This is a nice quiet little place. I had the pulled pork sandwich on a toasted baguette. It was tasty and filling. I plan on going back to try their teas and smoothies.

Delicious banh mi. I have tried banh mi at several places in San Antonio and I’m glad to say that this shop make the best of it. I also enjoy the matcha iced latte as well. It’s my first time at the shop and I enjoy it. I gave 4 stars because the shop needs some decoration. The size of the shop is big enough but least decoration makes the store look small. One more thing is about the parking. I don’t know what the reserve parking in front of the restaurant is used for. I have to park far away and walk to the restaurant.

This place was AWESOME! The onion soup for starters...was a great starter lol. It tasted so good. There was a piece of bread and cheese in it that just added to the flavor. The Vietnamese Sandwich was phenomenal. I absolutely loved the taste. Cant say that enough. On the right in the picture is a cream puff. That was really good. We also had a coffee and the pastry you see in the picture. Good coffee, but we loved the pastry. It was so good. Last thing we had on the way out was a Boba Tea. We got the Coconut Taro flavor, it wasnt what I expected. It was still good but Im used to smoothie style and it was a drink. Great place none the less!

Made boba & food orders wrong then gave push back when we wanted corrected. Lol then they take the sandwich to the back after making us wait haha. I felt like we were being punished sheesh. They ended up just to removing the jalapeno instead of making a fresh one 💀💀💀

The potato soup here is inexpensive and taste really good. It’s a comfort snack for me. The cortado is mild and smooth, not my preference but refreshing. The milk teas are nice and they will sweeten to you preference if you speak up. My kids love the boba smoothies which come in a wide variety of flavors. Nice relaxing setting.

There seems to always bee confusion and lack of organization when it comes to placing orders and keeping track of them. Sometimes, an item is not available anymore but the order was already placed and the worker that took the order never mentions that item is not available. Orders get delayed or mixed up a lot. Sometimes, if a phone order is placed a person will answer the phone and just say hello and not Thank you for calling SP Bakery, can I help you?. Great milk tea and boba!! Just grabbed a jasmine milk tea with mango boba and an oolong milk tea with lychee jelly for me and my daughter, the boba connoisseur. She loves her jasmine with mango. It had such full jasmine flavor! My oolong was fab.We are both gluten free, so we didn’t order any of the food items. They look amazing though!! Hubby said their sandwiches were spot on.

Usually love this place but the last time I went, they had a guy making my milk tea without a mask. When I asked why? They said Oh, hes eating. Like, really? Hes eating while making my drink? I was standing right at the counter so I could see everything. Even if he was eating before making my drinks, he should have put on a mask before talking and breathing all over the prep area with NO mask on. Just sad that my favorite boba tea place is now the last place I will go because they choose to put my life in danger. He was talking all over the ice, the tea mix and my milk tea. Never coming back.

Great place! My girlfriend loved the macarons and I had the Banh Mi which was excellent! I ordered the combo with a peach tea and a cream puff. Both were great as well. Their beverage selection is vast! Definitely would recommend this place.

Today was my first time here. I tried their smoothie and milk tea and man oh man it was very satisfying I will definitely be returning and recommending.

I ordered two bahn mi sandwiches to go and I think they didn’t send the order to the kitchen. After waiting over 20 minutes and watching others come in, order food and eat their food while I still waited I asked about the sandwiches and was told they were still being made. 5 minutes later I asked for my money back. They said they are wrapping them up. I got them home with cold meat that looked like a turkey slice and a different slice of I don’t know what....I’m extremely disappointed and won’t ever be back.I saw them fix one person’s sandwich while there as well.

Made us waiting for more than 1 hr, and finally said: we ran out of food ???!!!

Guys guys guys. This is it. This is THE place in SA to get your authentic banh mi. Delicious fillings in that soft crunchy roll!!! Ive looked in a LOT of different places. Also, had their pho. Very good, but its not my favorite. I think the broth is on the sweet side, which some people like, but I dont. But, dont get distracted by that. Come for the banh mi, seriously!

1st time going to this eatery. They were able to customize my Boba tea, and it was just right!! Very nice employees, no complaints.

Not impressed with this place. I don’t know what most of these other people were saying, but the macaroons were definitely not good. All tasted like the same plain flavor, but the colors were pretty I guess. The boba tea was overly sweet, and the tapioca balls were not soft & chewy. The flan was very flavorless, and tasted very watered down.. also had a strong coffee flavor... and presentation didn’t even look appetizing.. Service was mediocre, the cashier actually got my order wrong, but said that I just ordered the wrong thing.. I know I didn’t order Thai tea.. ty.. but another employee helped me out and she was nice.

I go here every week. the people here are so nice and the place is always clean. not to mention the music they put on! everything about that place is amazing! if you havent been, then go; i can guarantee you’ll have a good time.

While the food here is decent the service offsets the experience. The men that took the order and the one that made the drink were exceptionally rude. They have their own friends that frequent the place whom they fist bump and high five..but the other customers are treated as inconveniences. No customer service, no pleasantries...just give me your money and take your order. It is hard to enjoy your food when the atmosphere is so unwelcoming. Why should you pay for poor service and rudeness?

We walked in 5 minutes till they closed like some jerks and they were very accommodating and happily fixed us what we wanted. It was very, very good. Potato soup, BBQ Pork Bahn Mi and coffees were awesome. The sandwich was better than a very well known west coast Vietnamese Sandwich chain. Thank you ladies! I cannot help but leave a review after what happened today. I ordered a sandwich and requested no jalapenos but when l started eating my sandwich, my entire mouth and stomach were on fire. I have sensitivity to spicy food and and cannot tolerate anything spicy. When l took the top bread off l noticed there were jalapeno peppers and seeds all through the sandwich. I took the sandwich back to the counter and informed them what had happened. The gentleman at the counter took the sandwich and l went back to my tableA few minutes later the lady who prepares the orders walked to my table and tossed the sandwich on the table. I was in shock and disbelief because not only did she toss the sandwich but it was the same sandwich l had started eating and there was still a large jalapeno. I was speechless and my daughter suggested l tell them l have a high sensitivity to jalapenos. So l went back showed the gentleman the jalapeno pepper and he asked me if l had expected them to make me another sandwich. Although l would have preferred a refund because my stomach hurt and l had lost my appetite l went ahead and said yes. The same lady came back to my table with another sandwich but appeared bothered by my request. This time the sandwich was made without any jalapenos but it was difficult to enjoy. Needless to say, l will never return.

Brought friends here because I wanted to show them this place and my friend had been craving Boba tea. Our main reason for choosing this place. Well Boba is SUPPOSED TO BE CHEWY/SOFT (refer to Google if you dont know). The boba in her tea was so hard and gross. If you have someone on the spectrum who has aversions to certain textures, I wouldnt suggest this place. But why I really wont ever be returning OR recommending this place to people for is because the staff AND OWNER are sooo rude! When my friend (who isnt the type to ever complain but her boba was THAT BAD) went to get a new drink, they wouldnt give her something else! All they gave her was trouble. Because of a price difference (but hello she could just pay the difference). After enough back & forth, my girl friend just asked to speak to the owner directly. If for nothing else, so the employee didnt have to keep running back and forth to consult with the owner who couldnt even be bothered to come out and deal with the now frustrated and disgruntled customer. When my friend asked for this, they said the owner refused to come out. So unprofessional and bad for business IMO. When we were leaving the employee gave the most inauthentic thank you! No one was rude to them, but they were weird (cheap af) about a price difference and ONE FREAKING DRINK. So yea...now were upset and you could say the whole experience left a bad taste in our mouths.The positive: my strawberry banana smoothie was satisfying.

I came here with my friends and ordered some drinks and a pastry, they all had a funky aftertaste. But half an our later we all got stomach aches and some nausea. So DONT EAT HERE I’m warning you guys.

I had a banana pineapple kiwi smoothie and a Vietnamese sandwich. Omg! So good. Good size sandwich on real French bread. Not the sponge bread (subway). Real crunchy French bread. This meal was perfect for hot weather. Cool drink and cool sandwichs. Lots other good stuff here too.

Service is fast. Ive had a lot Banh Mi in my life and this is as authentic as it can get! The bread is crunchy. They also make little desserts. I had the red bean bread and it was delicious! the macaroons are so good!

My first visit on a weekday afternoon was very nice. The taro bread roll and bubble tea were good, fresh & reasonably priced and the man behind the counter was friendly. The 2nd time I went was on a Saturday morning. I ordered a breakfast croissant to go and an espresso & coconut pastry while I waited. Seems like I was the first customer of the day so i was looking forward to enjoying my coffee & pastry alone in the quiet. Unfortunately, the young lady who took my order disappeared & forgot about my espresso. The older, loud m/f couple who came in after me was asking far too many questions about the very simple menu. The minute she was done with them, my food was up and getting cold. Still no espresso. When I asked for it, i got no smile or apology, just a tiny amount of coffee in a PAPER cup which she could have given me 10-15min earlier in a demitasse & saucer like you do when the customer tells you the coffee is for here. Im giving this place ONE more chance.

I love to come here because of how calm and relaxed it is .Its very close to where I live and is always good quality. My favorite cake is their black forest cake and I come in once or twice a week for a mango smoothie. The staff is so kind and friendly. I have no complaints

Went with friends for a latte and croissants and it was marginal. Both the coffee & pastries were not good, quality was not there. The service was very good. We wont be coming back.

A quiet and unassuming place, but the food here is outstanding! The only place I know of to get Bahn Mi and Macarons, both of which were heavenly. They have a good selection of boba teas as well, a wonderful place to meet friends for lunch or a quiet place to study while getting a light, quality meal.
