Okay, so this is a 3-part review for me.Part 1: Let me begin by saying I LOVE Origins and their products. I have been an avid origins customer since 2011 and 95% of my skincare is ALL ORIGINS. The company has some of the greenest and cleanest products for women AND men in the market and have been the best for my skin (oily/combination) for years. HIGHLY recommend everyone give them a try!Part 2: I generally LOVE this location out of all the locations in San Antonio because it’s stand-alone, very tidy, rarely busy/packed, and has my favorite products in stock 90% of the time. However, I would have to agree with some of the 1-3 star reviews on service. Since I’ve been a long time customer and have done my due diligence with research on the company and it’s products, I, usually, don’t go in-store for guidance. I’m the kind of shopper that will go in when it’s time for refills or when a new product is launched. That said, during those times, customer service can sometimes be hit or miss. I say this because, there are a couple seasoned representatives that I would request or trust when it came to testing or trying a new product (they’re knowledgeable, believe in the company, actually use the products themselves, etc). Unfortunately, this is not the case for every representative. It’s surprising that a good % of sales representatives outside the ones I know/trust don’t even use the products themselves.Part#3: That being said, I recently experienced one of these times and as a result, unfortunately made a purchase that I will absolutely be returning out of disappointment. I went into the location at a non-busy time of the week and day before going out of town and needed to refill my primary products (face wash, moisturizer, lip balm, etc). However, there was a new product I had been wanting to try as well—“Original Skin Pore Perfecting Cooling Primer with Willowherb”. Unfortunately, the day I went in-store, the aforementioned go-to representatives were not available and I don’t exactly live very close to the location. I decided to take a chance and speak to the young lady on her advice or experience with the product, and not only did she try telling me they didn’t have the product in stock (consequently, I walked her over to the actual product myself), but revealed she doesn’t even use the brand herself. Very disappointing and unsettling. As a result of my frustration, I made the mistake of an impulse buy and regret the experience and purchase.Part 4: Again, I LOVE Origins, but this product is AWFUL. The product is not only messy, difficult to use, and actually drying to my skin, but also left me looking “peely”/“ashy”. I will absolutely be going back to return this product as I have tried to utilize and give a chance before making this return decision. It’s just unfortunate I did not have the ability to speak with someone more experienced who could guided me better, or at least given me the opportunity to test the product for myself beforehand.

The sales person made me feel uncomfortable while processing a return. I felt like I was being judged for returning products I wasnt going to use - since I had found DIFFERENT Origins products I liked better.I love Origins, but didnt have a good in store experience.

I have very sensitive skin and I love their products, you can even get a free mini facial to see what would work best for you! I absolutely love it!

Associates were friendly and informative. Offered the free consultation and which lotions would work best for my wife. Highly recommend!

Store wasnt open at 10 am. Employee was extremely rude. Also she knew it was my birthday and just turned her shoulder. Very rude and unacceptable.

Absolutely fabulous facial Care.

Had a phenomenal facial and got a few new products that helped clear a break out very quickly, the staff was very knowledgeable about the product and were able to assist me in getting the perfect products for my skin type!
