Such a cool shop with a name that fits! A few years ago this store helped me get ready for Halloween and my Jon Snow costume and I have been coming back ever since. Although the store is mostly a costume shop, it has beautiful/elegant decorations and costume jewelry that are very affordable. Its even helping with my upcoming wedding and with other unique gifts for other holidays, I.E. Christmas. This store is a one of a kind gem that once you discover, youll have to stopby every so often to see if anything catches your eye.

I Love this hidden gem, I also like to Support small Independently Owned Businesses. The owner is so helpful, friendly and welcoming. He has aHUGE variety of Selections and the Prices are affordable. The items range from unique knives, collectible Swords, Facemask and NO NOT COVID-19 Facemask Mardi Gras Facemask. He also has an array of Crystals, to Selenite Wands, Crystal Necklaces, bracelets and Tree of Life. If youre looking for metaphysical items or Spiritual Enlightenment items hes got that too.If youre looking for Halloween Costumes, Renaissance Costumes or a Unique outfit for a photo shoot he has a good selection. He also has Fairy Figurines, statues and trinkets, Jewelry (costume jewelry). Theres some really cool spunky chandeliers, some really great Egyptian pieces and Wind chimes. If youre looking for Debutant Tiaras or Gowns hes got those too. Sunglasses, Wooden cars and trucks, necklace charms, sugar skull necklaces, mood rings, bracelets and earrings.Currently the hours have changed and he Opens at 1:00 pm and Closes at 6:00 pm during the week. Atlantis Discovered has been my favorite local San Antonio shop for nearly 20 years. Its my go-to spot for unique gifts, costume pieces, fancy costume jewelry, hats, gloves, fun accessories, crystals and more. They really shine at Halloween and in prom season, but its a great selection of unique and fun items any time.

Lots of interesting stuff. Except for one or two items saw that were for sale. Native American custom was one of the them .

I drive completely across town for no other reason than to visit this store, several times per year. Folks, of you need to buy a gift, especially for a lady, or anybody who is into fantasy decor, or any type of cosplay, or eccentric fashion, you wont regret stopping by. What an experience! Stumbled in here while working in the area. The flapper costumes are beautiful, the staff is eager to help, and there are just so many beautiful accessories to look at. Anyone looking for a Halloween costume no one will forget, stop here! I will definitely have to come in with more time, and try on a few things, next time!

Great variety of costumes and accessories and masks

This place is great. While its easier to find gifts for women here ( which Ive done easily for many years) plenty of time spent looking through the incredibly well stocked shelves will yield presents for men too. I go at least three times a year and often shoot my budget not because much is expensive but because it is so easy to find a lot you really want. Every trip yields the gift Im looking for plus maybe a bit for me... Hooray for Atlantis discovered!

I needed help picking out a piece for my daughters bridal headless. Mike took the time to help us find exactly what we needed. We were working with an out of state bride and he had so much patience helping take pictures and showing the pieces until she found the perfect one. Love the store.

This is the most AWESOME boutique Ive ever been to. They have unique one of kind gifts and accessories. The beautiful tiarras, masks and capes are of high quality and are reasonably priced. This place is great for costume shopping. However I didnt find a lot of plus size costumes and the fabric of the costumes were pretty cheap.

Ive know this quirky little Gem since 2003 and they have always had the coolest,odd yet fantastic selection of sorts to choose from. I ended up here because my local chain based “go-to” joint failed me and didn’t have what I needed.My visit was in June, before the Halloween season kicked off, so I’m not sure what it’s like around that time, but the other reviews say they have a lot of that kinda stuff.When I was there, it seemed as if most of their costumes were renaissance festival/pirate/medieval themed. It’s not a very large shop, but they really do have a lot of stuff to choose from. The costumes aren’t cheap throwaway costumes like you get at the chain costume places. They’re REAL quality clothes that you could wear again and again for years. In fact, there was a lady in there planning out costumes for her wedding party - it was going to be renaissance themed. If she was at this place looking for apparel and accessories for her wedding, you KNOW it has to be good stuff.Lots of jewelry and accessories to choose from as well.The dude running the store that day was very helpful and even suggested a couple of accessories for my costume.Its located in a large strip center, so parking is no problem at all.

The guys at AD give great customer service.They are extremely creative with their ideas of putting together unique costumes and accessories. A lot of the stuff may seem geared towards women, but they have a lot of stuff for guys too.The selection is very unique. I found a leather gauntlet/bracelet there from south america that always starts a conversation.Its a great place to check out just to see how the store is decorated for a given holiday. They plan months in advance.Please support this great local business.
