Incredibly busy almost all throughout the day and night. It’s located right next to the training barracks so it’s always chock full of trainees. They have a Taco Bell, dominos, subway, a wing place, and one other eating place I can’t remember. They also have a good alterations shop with longer hours and quick service. They have a little tactical shop and a barber shop too. There’s also a little coffee shop!
I walked in to the food court of the new PX close to 1800. I asked a person working at Freshens if they were still opened. This person looked at me, said yes, then went back to what they were doing. I assumed they were in the middle of something and would be with me in a moment. I stood there. I stood there watching the workers. They saw me standing there. After several actual minutes passed I said, Didnt you say you are still open? The person said, uh no, we are now closing, I misheard you. I said, But you saw me standing here and decided not to say anything? You decided not to aak me to repeat myself since you did not fully hear me? That is horrid customer service and not the first time something like this has happened on JBSA.
Quick. Easy. Clean. Staff is very nice.
One of the nicest and well stocked AAFES post exchange facilities in the Joint Base San Antoinio area. Provides high, medium and low price point merchandise to all Active Duty, Reserve and Retired Defenders of the Free. Friendly and respectful staff... I would imagine that most of the employees are family members of a military sponsor. A few interesting shops and kiosks to browse for interesting stuff. Features a terrific and professional Barber Shop with about 10 chairs. Ive never had a bad haircut at the Post Exchange located on Joint Base Ft. Sam Houston
PerfectAlways there Dependable and Friendly service everytime (Aka the shopett)
Really nice
Love working for the army
It is clean and has a great variety of snacks and foods. Its a great place to chill and eat when its not rush hour.
It was fun to go and see military family but very got obviously but amazing experience
Doesn’t sell wine but it’s too close to the barracks so I get it lol. Within walking distance from the old barracks turned hotel, its got dominoes taco bell subway supplement store cleaners and barber. The petite gal working as clerk in the mini mart area especially is a friendly delight. She remembers everyone’s names that come in here and what they usually like to get at the counter. This place doesn’t offer everything but it sure comes close. Definitely recommend!
Be able to shop on base is always a plus but the customer service I received at this post exchange in the food court especially at Dominos was amazing. The employee looked up a coupon and drop my price almost $8.
Not so much a post exchange more a Mini Mart. Plenty of food and sundry items available inside the main store but also fast food options, cleaners, barber, tactical gear, and vitamin/performance enhancement store.
Good for your regular needz
With as many troops pass through here, i was disappointed to see fewer souvenirs than at other bases. I know many many families are posted here permanently, but tons of us just pass through for a school, and would love something from the base.
The food court in here is fast and decently consistent. The shoppette is nice, but because it is in AIT land there is no Alcohol here. The barbershop in here is very quick, much faster than the main exchange.
Good place for food and small items!
Cheap alcohol and tax free, god i love America.
As with any exchange, decent prices and selection of products but employees rarely smile.
Love it. Little bit of everything you need.
Great place to buy military items and a little bit of everything else
Tiny, its a PX shoppette, which is more of a large gas station with a large cafeteria and multiple dining options, i.e. charlies cheesesteaks, jimboys, taco bell. The majority of their customer base is trainees, their product selection reflects that and the selection is limited
Very good service, enjoyed my time here
Clean, small. Subway and a burger place. Small store, but good selection.
