We took a Sunday stroll here and it was great! So many cool finds at great prices! For any member of our family, came home with something. So many different vendors. Several stands of food as well. Restrooms were kept up with pretty clean, there was a staff member at the entrance keeping up with it.
Great Flea Market to walk!It gets busy early in the morning 🌄 which is the best time to go. Early around 8am- 10am. Gets hot around 12 walking around. Take an umbrella, and a backpack 🎒.Awesome food/snack stands (fruit, tacos, ice cream)Wide variety of things! (Furniture, electronics, custom products, clothing, shoes, home decor, tool, lawn equipment, produce, toys, healing products, workers clothing, and etc.)People selling from there own items, and others selling brand new products. They have a few mist areas, rest stops, and restrooms 🚻Defiantly visit the man in the white van at the far corner by the entrance by the office area thats been remodeled. He has the best ice cream cones!🍦 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦You cant leave without an ice cream cone!🤔
Kind of one of my favorite flea markets. I hardly ever buy anything; mostly because my domestic partner will spend her money and then my money too. Thank the lord and all things holy they only take cash. Ill only take so much. 💵
Bought some outdoor patio way way in the back area on Sunday and the weather was hot, asked an employee by the exit gate can I drive my car in to pick up what I bought, no he said tell the person who sold you to help you??? Then walked all the way to the front entrance asked another employee said just give the your drivers license and they will lend you a cart, walked over there person there said your drivers license and I need a deposit of 10.00??? They I explain to my wife then come back I was next and there were 3 other people behind me, well doesnt he just ignore me standing right in front of him and helps everyone else???? Not very nice at all, no help what so ever just seems to me your on your own they dont want to be bothered or just plain rude!!!
Great place to spend time with the family if you go sale parking is a free for all
Literally my favorite place to shop in the world. Gigantic, easy to navigate, spacious, and most importantly, 75% of what they sell are SECOND-HAND items, unlike most other flea markets that are basically outdoor retail stores selling new products. This means that not only will you find plenty of bargains at Mission, youll constantly come across hidden treasures and interesting items. And combine it with the very friendly people and myriad of great food, snacks, drinks, and music, its not just a flea market, its an experience
Our family loves going to the Mission Fleamarket every Sunday! We get there at 6 am, as the early bird gets the worm!! In doing so we always find many many wonderful things, hidden gems all for great prices!!!
It was a nice day plenty vendors lots of people I think whats real good and nice
I loved the way the paths are paved. When i was a kid everything was dirt haha. Great time with the family and always find good bargains here.
Great out door with alot of vendors clean
Fantastic organic flea market . Lots of individual severs with very different items . Lots of collectibles tools vintage clothing and snack options . Best flea market in SA .
Ive been going is years as a buyer but today Went as a seller the price $29 which is great considering what youll pay for a garage sale permit but here your guaranteed hundreds of people walking around so great opportunity to sell. get there early 5am lines get long quick for people trying to sell as it opens at 6am & there is security inside & in the parking lots.you a get spot with a small roof so even if sun is out your good just take plenty of water.the staff was great they guide you, help you park & guide you when you go awesome experience great staff just becareful walking around because there is deals everywhere & youll definitely find something for yourself . keep up the great job Mission!!!
Absolutely a fun place to buy items, walk around looking at items, buy from vegetable and fruit vendors, or even have a lunch. And, the entrance fee is only $2 a person and free parking. They are open Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I prefer Sundays as there are more vendors, and bigger item selection. For me, it works great to go there right after breakfast and return home with my bought treasures by lunch.
The place was well later out, nice paved paths between the booths. The restrooms were very clean. There was a wide variety of goods and foods available. I could not find what I was looking for, but I did find items I needed and purchased Made several connections for future purchases. Start early to get a good parking place, which is free with a $2 entry fee.
Perfect for the family and plenty of assortment its been a while since I have been here But enjoyed our Sunday !!
I’ve been coming to this place for quite a while now. I’ve found some great bargains and it’s an enjoyable experience up until today. We were walking up to pay and an employee approached us saying that we didn’t have to wait in line seeing that the line was long. That we could just pay with him and go through. The others that were with me decided to just wait in line seeing that we were next. So we just passed his offer up. The employee got upset and called us “babosos” that upset us. There was no need to offend us just because we didn’t want to pay him and avoid the line. It infuriated me so I went up to him and told him to show us some respect we did nothing to receive that type of treatment. He started to argue and act up trying to take his vest off acting like he wanted to fight. We ignored him and proceeded to pay. As we were walking away he said “I’ll meet you inside don’t worry” threatening us. I proceeded and walked to the office to file a complaint on their employee and told the manager what happened she said she’d talk to him. Fast forward a couple minutes later and this employee showed up at the post we were looking and stopped and started arguing again saying if we had an issue and changing up the story saying we called him black. Nobody mentioned anything of that matter. He then said he would wait outside for me when I came out. When he left I went again and spoke to the manager once again and told her he had followed us all the way where we were at she told us she was going to wait until the end of the day to get his attention she clearly did nothing the first time I came to her. This is truly infuriating and upsetting the type of unprofessionalism from their employee and their manager is saddening. I’ve been a visitor of this flea market for ages but not anymore. Hopefully they address the poor conduct of their employee and choose wisely who they hire.In response to your comment: With all due respect I explained not only to you but your manager present that day what happened and what your so called “respectful employee” called us. for no reason. Not even after he ofended us did we racially insult him we are honest, hard working people and believe that everyone should be treated equally with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Like i said we ignored him and he still decided to follow us inside. None the less don’t worry we won’t bother coming to this place ever again; where so called fine employees lack respect for their guest. I would much rather take my business and free time somewhere where guest are treated politely and I’m actually going to enjoy my time without being insulted. Thanks
First time visiting the mission market, nice! on open area plenty of available lots for future retailers. I enjoyed visiting.
Way too much used clothes and worn out tools. The fresh produce was the only reason Id come back A disappointment
I go there to shop & sell!! TOP SHELF of flea markets! Very Best in 210. my opinion!
You can practically find anything here for a steal, very family friendly.
Found a pair of nice boots here. $2 to enter and free parking
Awesome place to go treasure shopping. They also have great food. Barbacoa tacos are so yummy 🌮🌮👌
Busy day. Always love coming here
A great place for first time bargain hunters you must go way before noon before the venders start to exit by noon
This place is unreal it’s like WOW! Great place to spend a weekend. I absolutely loved our visit. Highly recommend
Although there were fewer vendors than pre-pandemic times, there were plenty of good vendors and lots if produce. We shopped until the heat and humidity did us in, but we found lots of bargains, lovely plants, and delicious veggies! Were going to start going regularly again!!
Need to have cash in your packets, ATM fee is $6.00 plus what your bank charge.
The disabled people that ride their motorized carts ( that they walk to their car with and toss in their cars like strongmen ) for hours are always almost running over people . Alot of smokers walking around stinking up the place . The pastor taco truck at the west end of row H? has really gone downhill . Their tacos stunk rancid last time I tried to eat them . The good side, its still 2 bucks to get in and some good deals .
Hi! I found a good opinions from there. What I need for selling there? Thanks
This has to be the best open air market. And yes they still require mask (thank you). I saw for myself, they will follow you till you put one on. They try to spread out the vendors also. The restrooms are always clean and stocked with paper and soap.
Clean and cant wait till more people are out to sale
Lots of new vendors and great snacks and food...this is the must go place for the weekend family day...GOOD PEOPLE AND ALL SOME ENVIRONMENT
You can find some great deals here. Its just a matter of bargain hunting.
Lots to look at with very reasonable prices. Drinks cost more than merchandise being sold. Entry cost is now $2 per person.
Not crowded 👍 people wearing mask. Restroom was clean
Open air shopping & friendly atmosphere, people are friendly and me lots to look at & shop.
FRIST TIME THERE AND IT WAS GOOD
My family and I are from Laredo, and weve been coming to this flea market since 1992.If you want new stuff, your first choice should not be a flea market, but they do sell new products in the original packaging.I myself come to this flea market above all others because of the second hand items that are to be found. My main interest is antiques and used, quality, bicycles. We have been buying, Trek, Specialized, Giant, Bianchi, Diamondback, and a few others, for about six years now. We buy them do any work needed and re sell them in Laredo. On the rare occasion we dont find anything on our list, its still a pleasant day outdoors, and there are food and beverage vendors to make the day pleasant. They are open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.Saturday is the day with the least vendors present. We have had very good luck on Wednesday, and Sunday.Great Job, Mission Open Air Market.Henry.
Great place shop for bargains have cold watermelon aqua fresca. Walk around looking that something youll regret buying.
I love walking here but need to place some area with roof not only in the beginning its gets tooo hot I cant even finish walking the rest.
Nice place to buy lots of things that my family needed
Beware, some of the vendors are sketchy... Will not be back.
I love this place so many good finds and it cheap both new and used. I love it!!! Good exercise too.
Been going here since I was kid. Lots of stuff to see. Bring some good walking shoes. Lots of walking. But not to bad. And Bring water. Bring some cash. They do have an ATM. To clothes to movies, music to collectors stuff. When you see it. Oh and Tools
Lots to choose from. Even the bathrooms werent bad to use.
Its too hot to go here. Less vendors, they need to put shades or something
Its. Was. Good. Visiting. From. Dallas. Had. A. Greattime
The open air is nice and vendors are good sellers and they work with peices
Pretty good flea market. Usually vendors who bring their stuff from home to sell instead of having a yard sale. A lot of vendors who have name brand laundry soap, shampoo, etc.Different stands to buy drinks and snacks such as roasted corn.
From all the flea markets in San Antonio this one has lots of vendors with great cheap prices . $2 entrance when others are 3 or 4 per person.
Decided to try this place out because the other market was only open on the weekends. Very dissatisfied.
I really enjoyed myself it was my first time meaning nationalities a variety of items food Booth music it was an adventure and an easy way to make an extra dollar you just have to have the right crew members with you!
Could be better like they announce it
For its been 2yrs that I havent gone it was good
Open air market, the idea of walking for excercise always seems a little rediculous; until I started walking here.If you use a step counter and try to walk the entire market its a little more than half a mile.Lots of things to look at while you walk, you can train your eyes to scan items as you walk and if something piques your curiosity, you can make a vendor an offer. While some vendors are trying to sell things close to retail price, others are practically giving things away pennies on the dollar.Wendsday is a good time, because it breaks up the week. You can save lots of money, and give the entrepreneur a helping hand. There are shows on TV, about making money this way and is rapidly making it a trendy way to make extra cash. Two dollars to get in, Fifteen if you want to set up a table, lots of venders are regulars mixed with lots of random garage sale entrepreneurs. Iconic Mexican staple items makes it great for tourists to pick up lots of souveners on the cheap.
I enjoy the Mission Market during the 2020 winter holidays. Because they have raffles for cash prizes and Christmas hams. ***Show up at 10 am on Sunday and go toward the back at section L89. That is when and where you find the biggest bargains.**** Some vendors start selling their wares for one buck. You will find picnic baskets and Miami Dolphins sports pennants like I did.
Best place to do your shopping for collectibles Pokémon cards anime figures movies vintage games and consoles especially on row G
Oh my goodness this place is excellent there are so many bargains hereTons of food stand used items new items mostly used at great prices it is a really fun market to shop at I purchased a pink glass chandelier for $10L’Oreal Maybelline lipstick for a dollar brand new thousands to choose from just a fun market Wednesdays and weekends
Speaking as a first-time vendor, it was a relatively easy process. The staff was helpful and guided me where to go. I could drive in and sell right from my truck. Tips: if you need electricity, pay for it up front and pick a booth that has an outlet, as not all do. Bring hangars and zip ties if you need to hang up clothes. A table was provided, but I should have brought an extra one too. And bring cash with plenty of small bills and change.Im still cleaning out my storage, so maybe Ill see yall there!
I went with 20 bucks and came back with a painting, two dog beds, a new pair of boots, 3 aropostal shirts, 4 Victoria secret perfumes, and a bag of fruit. 10/10 would recommend 💀🤣
Bring Cash, deals for days, you will more then likely run through your budget quickly because of the awesome inventory
Always go on Sundays find the best deals.
I did not find my makeup guy nowhere to be found
Best experience. You can find what you are looking for. Lots of fun.
Plenty of parking and lots of stalls, the main food court needs a redesign.
Has lots of different things new and used prices are reasonable they have a place where you can get carts you just have to leaves a id card
Its awesome...no alcoholic beverages but thats fine cause then Ill spend ALL my money. But I ALWAYS find what im looking for at bargain prices .
Expensive to be a vendor, $29 / day plus another $5 for electrical use.
..like the huge vendors selection, but not happy that they keep increasing the price for the vendors and we have to pay to enter!🙄...not cool!
Awsome place...Good prices on cloths....
Came to have breakfast with my handsome husband Sait Fuentes and my handsome son Juan Fue
Love to find good deals, and a perfect place to sell unwanted items
$2. Entrance fee on Saturday morning and very limited vendors.
There is a little bit of everything here at the flea market yes its loose Sunny sometime but its worth it if I know a lot of sales and a lot of people do that want to help you and if you get hungry they got those restaurants all over the place
Lots of variety.. New and used
It was a pretty day to be outdoors, today n shop for good buys n good food too,,lots of sellers on Wed n sundays,,got to love it,,lots of people wearing mask,,
Very packed but good items.started to get hot with 😷 s
I will always love this place, VERY DELICIOUS food! Alot of stuff to see and buy! Bring cash $$$
Went early, not too crowded. All vendor were open or close to it. Grounds were clean.
Always a good place to hangout and shop. Pokemon cards, pink, nike, house goods, a ton of mexican products.
I dont care for the men restrooms. I compared it to other fleamarkets I been and I have to say mission has the worst restrooms,Very small, what they call doors dont work or close, hygienes is poor and the list goes on. Is like the owner doesnt care.
Needs more improvement to shade vendors properly instead of buying useless items for themselves
