Good selection. Obviously have to wait to get my bluray now. Before I bought them as soon as they came out. Dont have the need for that anymore, so this place helps with that and its cheaper and usually the cases look almost new.

Love this store. I don’t really look or buy the blue rays, dvds, or music but I do fine they have a wonderful collection. I love buying the games and seeing what they have in stock. They give you this card and every time you buy something the card gets marked. And if you have certain number of those you can get item for free that’s below 10$ I believe. I’ve enjoyed what I bought from here and so will you

Staff were friendly, they had the movies my friend and I needed and prices were reasonable.

Able to find everything I am looking for at this location and more. The sales associates are chill and laid back. They had a horrible lady working the military location so we stopped going and the Broadway failed to give my daughter her movie and she told me and I didn’t believe her boy was I wrong she cried for it but we live out of town and work out of town so wasn’t easy to exchange and then when we decide to go back they shut the store. Not cool. The San Pedro is far much better and I will continue to shop at that one only.

Has every Marvel movie and old school Nintendo game you can think of! They even sell refurbished retro consoles! I just wish they had more death metal CDs (especially on the more obscure and brutal side) or this wouldve been my favorite place in the world.

If youre looking for a cheap movie night or old school CDs this is a great place to shop. Its super affordable and god quality for a second hand shop. Its also open really late so Ive picked up popcorn and candy and then went by and got some DVDs an impromptu family movie night and it was perfect!

The most recommended of all CD Exchange stores in San Antonio. As an observant person, I can tell that everyone at this store has an enthusiasm for servicing customers in-person and on their phone calls, never treating them as hindrances. Everyone there is incredibly friendly, always open to have an inviting conversation as if the customer is his or her neighbor. Its also the only CDX store in SA that doesnt get hostile and treat any customers on the floor as being unwelcome, something that I wish I could say for the other stores still open in SA.In particular, the manager Louie deserves major kudos for his performances that Ive observed, as his five-star excellence has trickled down to his staff. Louie is always willing to provide a helping hand to every customer, and Ive had the pleasure of being serviced by him to personally experience that. I hope that every store like CD Exchange has a manager like him to spread his contagious work ethic and enthusiasm, and the company is very lucky to have him on board.

Bought a dvd from here that wasnt even playable in this region (usa). when i went to return it they said i had to go in the morning and talk to a manager even though i had my receipt. I asked if they could just exchange it for another one on the floor and they wouldnt let me. I just threw it in the trash and walked out. Never going again.

I went in just to browse. Clean store. Really nice staff, very helpful and patient the guy at the register did his absolute best to try to help me locate a vynl i was in search for.

I love this location for a thousand and one reasons! First of, as soon as you walk in you can immediately tell that it used to be a Hollywood Video and is even laid out like one. Secondly, if you ever were looking for a box set of your favorite flick or show I promise that between their several locations youll probably find it. The prices are so slow and reasonable that sometimes I can get carried away in there. Also, if you come in to sale your own old movies and DVDs they make the process painless and easy. They dont take all the movies you may bring in but then again not all movies are worth any dollar value. You gotta be realistic if you bring stuff to sell them dont expect to get cash for all of it. Not all movies carry their value. Either way there are thousands of movies and multiple copies of them at a very very discounted rate.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They always have exactly what i am looking for and the prices are great. Would like to see a bigger selection of anime but still appreciate what they have. Love going here! DVDs and BluRays are always in excellent condition.

The staff here is absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful, even when they are incredibly busy. If they dont have what youre looking for, theyll let you know the next closest CD Exchange that does. They are very fast when youre selling, and normally give you more for what you bring than any other CD Exchange.

Very helpful and friendly service, good selection. If they dont have it theyll call another location to see if they have it. Theyll hold movies or games till you get there to purchase them. Good prices, I can usually buy 3 or 4 games or movies for the retail price of one.

Theres usually good clearance movies on sale for a reasonable price, most of the stuff on the floor especially the new stuff can generally be found for considerably less at eBay Craigslist offer up etcetera the reason DVD exchange gets three stars is because they do not pay very much money at all for valuable films you bring them, I brought them a original 1933 King Kong 4 dis collectors edition, mint condition oh, the same exact set is going between 40 + $80 online, they offered me $4, needless to say I declined the offer and the clerk through no fault of his own before I even answered him on the $4 offer was already handed me back my collectors item kit, overall I will continue to shop this store has well as the others throughout the city, but dont expect to make much on selling to them do expect to find great bargains in the clearance section and anything new or retail more than likely you will find less elsewhere such as eBay.

A very nice selection of old & new movies, CDs & vinyls. Theres also some handheld systems for sale. The staff was friendly & professional. All in all, we were there for over an hour just looking at everything.

While this location has a great selection of movies, the employees are very rude and standoffish. One of the employees did help us, but the other employee was very rude to my husband. Their music selection is lacking, also. It is also a very dirty store. I wouldnt really recommend this particular location.

This place is a cool place to get vintage cds and dvds, and video games. The staff was nice. They buy old video games. The selection is not extensive, but its worth a look for deals.

Blue Ray selection has increased a great deal. Clerks can assist in locating items for you. Get rewards with purchases on most items.Redeem them for any item in the store.
