Great place to get some wonderful souvenirs. The prices are the best. The candy is so cool and some retro. They have so much stuff for decorating your home. So much to choose from with t-shirts, candies, shot glasses, and more. Wonderful place to see and shop in. The customer service is lovely

Great place to find things to decorate your home or throw a dinner party. They have a great selection of home decor such as plates linens food and beer selection. Great gifts for a bday and a lot of beach items for during the summer. No problem finding parking here either. The staff is also very nice and always are willing to help you find what you are looking for. Would recommend anybody to stop by and take a look.

Great souvenir and gift shop along the river walk. Definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out.

I am updating my negative review from a few days ago. My daughter had purchased a hoodie for me while on vacation and it turned out to be a disappointing purchase as it was not of the greatest quality (it was cut very wrong and basically unwearable). As she was buying for a gift, she did not try it on and didnt realize the poor quality until she presented it to me. I contacted the company with my complaint (on her behalf) and am pleased that the apologetic owner has graciously made things right with my daughter.While I still extend a warning to customers to carefully inspect the quality of the souvenir clothing purchased at a store selling items marketed to out-of-town tourists, I am confident that the owners of the the Five and Dime on the Riverwalk in San Antonio truly do want customers to feel happy and satisfied with their merchandise and would encourage anyone to go and check out the store! This was a great stop because there were many cheap fines and of course General Store items as well. They also have the cheapest Panchos for one of the rainiest days to be visiting San Antonio Riverwalk! I found the cutest crazy socks there for 5.99 a piece! The lady was a real sweet person too.

This place is fraud zone.I made a purchase for a set of earrings.They were 10.00.Litetally 5 min after I got a fraud alert a legit fraud alert from my bank.They had declined a 140.00 charge from this place.I checked my receipt to make sure .I proceeded to go back to let them know what had occurred.The manager said my bank was spam and it wasn’t true.I showed him the receipt and the text I received from my bank.He looked me in my eye and acknowledged nothing and called me crazy.I am on vacation and now have no bank card thanks to this place.I really cannot believe the response.I will be notifying the San Antonio PD about this andfiling a report.Please be aware .If you need something use cash.

Great prices, great selection, something for everyone.

This was my first time coming to this store, my cousin came to visit and she wanted some souvenirs. She found everything she was looking for. She collects shot glasses, her sister collects bells...whenever they go they look for those items especially, theres more than enough options. Im glad we stopped by. There was a lot of people looking around too...everyone seemed happy and satisfied with the large selection. I LOVE LUCY...THIS PIECE MY DAUGHTER FOUND MADE ME SMILE..WE BROUGHT IT!!😁😁😍😍

The best place on the Riverwalk to buy souvenirs. Whomever you are shopping for, youll find their gift in this store. All ages enjoy browsing through this store. Whenever a guest visits, we always take them to this store. They also have a small area with essentially all toiletries you might have forgotten.

Came to visit San Antonio and my daughter wanted to find something for her friend. Doors were open so we walk in. The little girl at the counter says were about to close then says were closed as in leave. Horrible customer service.

Terrible. IF THERE WERE 0 STARTS I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A 0/5. I was on my way out of San Antonio and decided to stop there to get gifts for my family. I had a bottle drink and placed it on a counter to go through shirts in a bin. Without my knowledge the owner picked up my bottle and threw it away. Later, I asked if she had seen it and she admitted to throwing it away yelled at me telling me that setting things on her counters is not allowed I was very shocked with her response yet apologized because I noticed she was an older woman. A few seconds later not knowing the situation my advisor asked the woman if she had seen my bottle to which the lady replied from all the way across the store that setting things on her counters was not allowed and proudly admitting she threw away my drink.I felt embarrassed, taken from, and instead of a souvenir I went home with a bad memory. Lady. If you are reading this, please put a sign saying you do not want things set on counters and/or organize merchandise so customers don’t have to ramble through them to find what they would like to purchase. Tourists come in with things and drinks they’ve been walking with. For goodness sake it’s near the riverwalk. I recommend the souvenir store right next to this place, they are much friendlier and understanding.

One of the few places you can purchase cigarettes near the River Walk. Nice little store, friendly staff snd prompt service.

Double check your receipts, people. I was charged an extra $5 for a t-shirt. Funny thing though, I never carried a t-shirt to the counter, and the lady never scanned a t-shirt. Luckily, I noticed before leaving the store and was able to get it fixed. I imagine some tourist that might spend more money then I did may not notice an extra $5 charge. With that being said, the store is a typical gift shop. It was clean and the lady at the counter was nice enough. It would be nice if the patron would turn down the volume of the annoying, looping ad for some wiggle worm toy. You can hear it all over the store and it gets very old very quick.

Very good rates compared to other shops. If you souvenirs in san antonio it is better to come here than go to other shops. Found some stuff at very cheap rates.

Checked this store out yesterday. Lots of souvenirs. Some things cheap but nothing out of the ordinary. Its call five and dime but there is plenty in the store that is well about five dollars. We thought this was odd and very misleading so we chose to leave without a purchase after entering and seeing prices. Staff just looks but do not speak.

The place was very dirty the room smell very bad. The sink and bath tub were clogging. The air conditioner was not cooling enough. Bed sheets look dirty my family and I were afraid to even sit on the bed. Over all it is a horrible place.

The cashier scanned an item for me the kept it. I got back to my place and I was packing to leave and I didnt have it and I was charged. Very dishonest.

The kids (maybe 18 - 23 years old) working there yelled at me and my 6 year old granddaughter for blocking the door to the counter area when she was using the machine that makes souvenir pennies that was in front of the door. They both were screaming obscenities at me in front of several families and children!! A gentleman behind us, who saw what was happening tried defending us, which escalated the situation and we all ultimately walked out, but I was appalled at the way these workers acted and the obscene language all because my granddaughter wanted a souvenir penny and the placement of the penny machine. Save your money and buy your souvenirs elsewhere.

Great variety of products that I could find in this place, it looks like a supermarket like the DollarCity or a dollar store with 70% simple quality products, lets say, but the place is still well ordered by the workers and the cleaning of everything, the attention is the best and the flow of people is normal, there are not as many crowds as in different souvenirs from the USA. Good for that order handling, excellent.
