The female human being answering the phone is probably the rudest I have ever encountered in my 50+ years on this earth and I have been both CONUS and OCUNUS. I called to get info on a product and before I was complete with what I was asking about, I was told they were too busy to assist and to call back later. Clearly customer service is not a quality this business is concerned with. Buyer Beware !

Had mower problems, turns out a piece of my blade adapter broke. Rather than paying big bucks for a new adaptor, I took a chance on Sorola having it, since its 4 blocks away. Sure enough the gamble paid off. The gentleman who helped me found the only one they had! Paid less than 5 bucks too! J. Sorola Inc., you saved me money on the part and the gas I would have spent going to a large hardware store thats 6 miles away. Great job!

I would leave no stars if it were possible, which is a real shame because this used to be a trusted source for equipment and repair. I had the terrible misfortune to tangle with the nastiest and rudest individual while trying to simply get a price on an item. Taken aback, I tried to defuse the situation by asking if she was maybe having a bad day. I was told the only person with a problem was me, and that I needed to understand how busy she was and that she didnt have time to price things, that would have to be someone else, who also was too busy. When I asked to speak to her manager, she told me it was her. Too bad, used to be a great place.

Went in looking for a self propelled mower they had a good selection when everyone else had none. Im sorry I dont have names but the whole team was excellent. They focus on each customer until your completely satisfied. Prices were good and service was excellent. Cudos to the whole team. One thing they can get very busy and make sure you take a number when you go in. Great job to all.

I STRONGLY encourage folks to go elsewhere. I have never been treated so unkindly by staff. Regardless how long you have been waiting, they will help their friends who come in ahead of you. Terribly unknowledgeable about even simple matters. After visiting with the manager it is clear that ALL problems spring from her poor attitude. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

Called and spoke with the guy called senior from others there. He said they just fot some the models i wanted to buy made sure attachment will fit then i drove an hour to them never having the item. I was 2nd in line took 50mins wait to hear they didnt have for me after my drive. They didnt even care, and the just just had got smart with another customer thats why tjey make.model numbers so.you can ask.and we provide the correct item.or.part. this did.not help.my wasted 3 hour trip. Worst customer service i have seen in my life. Stay clear from this place.

Was referred to this business for parts. I called and was told by whoever answered (gave the name Alicia Santos) to call back in 10 minutes due to a line. I called back in exactly 15 minutes and she told me that there was again a line and I needed to go in person and wait in line. She would not even take the part number or my call back number to get back to me. When I asked for the owners info she said she would not give it to me and hung up. Hope the other employees are not as rude.

Avoid coming here if possible.Terrible service dont know right from left.Came in for a start switch for a zero mower. Took them an hour to tell me they couldnt help me. Total waste of time save time and money buy your parts online.

Bought a steel chain saw a few months ago. Stopped working and i took it to Sorola’s for repair. Please tell me why I bought this saw for $600 and Sorola’s wanted to charge us that much just to fix it. Our saw was practically new and this is what we got back. I know this isn’t the same saw we dropped off for repairs. Don’t trust this company for repairs on your lawn equipment.

Old school service and their inventory is so huge I didnt know what half the stuff was. Its a serious shop for machine geeks.

Friendly folks, just didnt have the model chain saw I was looking for. (Most stores in town are having problems getting new stock from Stihl) so cant fault them for that.

I put in my 3 units in the middle of April, and only because two of them had been worked on just less then two weeks when they both wouldn’t work right . So I bought a brand new unit from them as they wouldn’t at least repair one of my only units on the spot . So two are under warranty and then they called me twice after three weeks and asked what did I want done to the units . Twice and I was very clear and cordial about the facts and the girl told me she’d call me back after she spoke with the account & or mechanic. No calls from them so far so that’s another week gone by . Today I’m calling and no one is answering the phones at all . No message to leave either .What’s going on with y’all?How do y’all intend to correct this ?

The staff there is very helpful. The service and repair Dept even more helpful. They helped me decide on a trimmer. I need to spend a couple a hundred of dollars that I really dont have so I feel 100% better that my money is going to be well spent.7-2-19 The weed eater that the staff recommended works great. Came in to this store today intending to purchase a weed eater. Total of the sale would have been about $400. Only problem was apparently I was invisible. There were several employees present but I couldnt get anyones attention. Tried to make eye contact but everyone ignored me. Ill shop elsewhere.

Hard to find a place in San Antonio that will service Honda lawn mowers. Sorola worked on mine a few years ago. We were very pleased with the service and our lawn mower was running like a champ afterwards.

Experts Staff, Will knowledge on outdoor power equipment.. One good tip is if you are unable to bring your broken equipment in, the take plenty of pictures of the product manufacturer stickers with the SERIAL & MODEL number. Dont just come in expecting that they have your parts when you say your edger or chainsaws is a red, black, or green.. thats no help too you and them.

I go all the time for various parts and equipment and they have excellent and friendly service. Les is very knowledgeable in parts and equipment. Joe on the mechanic side is great cant ask for a better tech. As long as Ive been going Sorolas has been a top notch place to go to.

This would be a good place if they had more sales reps to handle the people over the phone. I was put on hold 3 times, and on the forth, they told me to call back in 30 minutes. All that holding for nothing. I guess Im going to have to drive 45 minutes to their location in order to get information that I need because they cannot handle people over the phone as well as they do in person.

Terrible experience it takes 3 weeks to do a simple tuneup. I thing i would have had better service with some back yard mech. it takes them 9 days to call me and give me a price to do the repair. After i give then the OK they tell me it would take 10 days to get the parts in. Been going to Sarola for years, but the service has been getting worse. Time to find another service shop. Not to mention the price for service getting ridiculous.

Returned an unopened attachment and trim mer line. Trimmer line was the wrong size even though they said it would work. I had even asked if I could return it if it does not work. Sure enough it didnt last 30 minutes weed eating and it was a high-dollar kind the one with metal in it. The lady deducted about $2 from my refund and didnt say a word. I went back and demanded the full refund. The man was willing to pay me back out of his pocket but the lady handling the refund told him well she could come back - accusing me of trying to steal. Well that was yesterday at 5. My bank account does not show the credit and somehow I have this awful feeling that they messed with me. The man I dont know his name said that he was doing me a favor. I bit my tongue. How is he doing me a favor when they are selling you a product and its been represented it will work and it doesnt. Then they deduct from my refund. What about my time.

Repair of lawn vacuum Billy Goat took two trips to finally resolve. However, unique intermittence of problem being demonstrated caused by flakey spark plug is legitimate reason for need of two trips.

I was directed to use them for warranty work on my riding lawn mower. They were supposed to pick up my lawn mower within 3 days, it took them 2 weeks to pick it up. This was the second week of July and they said they were short on workers/drivers. It is now Sept 29 and I still dont have my riding lawnmower back. Worse, it has been fixed for over a week and the only delay is that they are short on workers/drivers and have had to reschedule the delivery 4 times now. The worst company I have ever dealt with.
