Amazing assortment of dark liquors like whiskey and rum, a decent wine assortment, but the beer department is sublime, including a walk-in cooler that would thrill the average Cooter Brown. The prices were comparable to discount stores. Customer service needs work. I saw only one employee, the cashier, a grouchy mumbler who neither smiled nor made eye contact. The store was not busy, but I suspect the burden of added customers would not improve her attitude. A good manager would switch her to stocking shelves and hire someone with a better people skills. If she was the manager, Id either fire her or offer her intensive training on customer service.

Carrier a lot of different types of alcohol with good prices.

Had a blast here going to get the alcohol and spirits. Semper Fi do or die highly recommend it.

Even though the big portion of the store was not open yet. The little pop shops were plentiful. The food court looked to have a nice variety.

We always go here for our spirit needs. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, which is rare for a class six. You usually cant get any help in an AAFES, anywhere around the world. But this one, they are super great, you can always find someone to help, if need be.

I live over an hour away and dont visit Ft. Sam much. Always have to go to the Class VI when I get the opportunity. The liquor prices are awesome and selection is very good. You wont find the higher-end whiskys here but thats OK. They still have the good stuff at about half the price of Specs or Total Wine & Spirits, etc. And no tax!

My first time here. The layout of the establishment was clean, neatly organized & easy to find everything. The assistant or/ store manager Tenisha was very helpful & knowledgeable w/ a great attitude for customer service. Id recommend shoppping here.

I shop here for alcoholic beverages when on the installation for other purposes. I like to combine trips. The selection is great,can find many beers unavailable other places. The liquor selection is great and prices are very good.

This place is always busy during the holidays. Items were well stocked, store clean, and organize. However, they need more employees during the busy season and alot more space. The aisles were crowded with not only people but also with the inventory. Very tight squeeze in and around certain areas. AAFES seems to make things work. Employees were quick to help.

Always a great shopping experience. Everything in one place. I do prefer the base in San Diego CA.

Bought a bottle of Scotch and the cork was broken off in the box. Would not exchange because of COVID.

Clean place. Mostly easy to navigate to what you are looking for. They have samples sometimes. Have a good selection of alcohols, if you need something that is not at this location you should try Specs Liquor off post.

Parking lot needs lines painted

Over the past few months, their selection has improved. Their prices are generally better, but Specs is often a better bargain if its closer to you. Im starting to find some higher end scotches, whiskeys, and Bourbons but often find they dont always have what Im looking for. At the end of the day, its still an AAFES establishment.

For those that can shop at AAFES Class Six (the military liquor store), prices are very reasonable, and their liquor and wine and beer selection has enough variety for just about anyone, but if you dont drink, then check out this crazy t-shirt at the Class Six.

Great prices, polite employees, on the weekends they usually have a tasting stand to let you try newer products!

I always love shopping at the Class VI. They are always helpful and happy to match prices for us. It might not be convenient, but sure worth my trip every time!

They don’t have a lot of the newer products on Fort Sam but Randolph is probably better choice but it’s the closest to me so I don’t complain

I got Malibu coconut rum for half the price here as twin liquors. I dont recommend the rum at all, but the prices are great!

They have a much bigger selection than Lacklands and Randolphs stores do. Lacklands Class VI is a joke. I can usually find cheaper prices on some items off base even though its tax free there... 😡
