MY ASK WAS SMALL COMPARED TO THE CALIBER OF PROJECTS AND PIECES I SAW IN THEIR SHOP, BUT THEY MADE ME FEEL LIKE A VALUED PRIORITY CUSTOMER. IN THESE DAYS WHEN MOST MACHINE SHOPS ARE BOARDED UP ON MY SIDE OF TOWN, JERID IS A SHINING BEACON OF POSSIBILITY AND COMPETENCE, AS WELL AS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY. Word of mouth is how I found JB Machine Shop.I am self employed and I know that service matters.I approached them with a rough general idea of what I wanted,he requested I draw it up to eliminate any confusion.When I did this it easily put us on the same page.With his insight of what I wanted he improved my idea .This reduced labor which in turn reduced cost.His prices are very fair .The more we got into my project the better it got because,I knew the end result I wanted and he, with his experience knew how to take care of the project and the customer.

We trust JB weld over JB machineDo not be fooled by his claimed 30 years of experience or the professional website. Jarod is way to cocky for his work quality that is lackluster at best not to mention he treats his customers like complete garbage. Not sure who did the work that is displayed on his website but it definately doesnt match what we payed for and recieved months too late. We took our work to a shop in Kerrville and couldnt be happier.Beware of the 5 star reviews, unless there was a serious change in work quality they do not accurately describe the JB machine that scammed us.

I took him this broken Fuel Strap to make he did good except he did round off the edge so it didnt fit I had to pay someone else to fix the job on top of that he charged me $240.00 to make you would think it is made of silver and gold.

I decided to go there and met with the owner a great hearted, very professional and correct person. When he listened my problem he not only sympathized with me but also gave me a great price. I had the center bore increased from 90mm to 110mm to accommodate the hub on a full float posi rear end and JB Machine did an outstanding job as they fit perfectly on my 8-lug axles. I had an odd project that I needed to get done. I needed two custom made molds for pouring lead. These molds were unique and had complicated dimensions. I went to four machine shops and was turned away. JB machine shop took on my project and produced the most flawless aluminum molds I have ever seen. Very satisfied. JB Machine did an outstanding job for specialized test rigging I needed to hold test sensors to collect dust emissions. The rigging needs to be portable, light weight, highly configurable, and able to withstand off-road driving. Worked like a champ doing Army dust suppression testing and the results of the first test allowed us to save the Army over $1M before the test was even completed.

JB Machine shop pulled us out of hole on a part that we could not acquire through the manufacture of the equipment needing the part. JB Machine shop was our way out, they took the part we needed and reproduced the part without flaw.The price we very reasonable and the part fit like a glove. I never write bad reviews because it is so hard for small business to get off the ground, however, I felt like I was done wrong. I came into the shop with a bolt and a drill bit. I informed the gentlemen that I wanted a hole in the middle of the bolt and it shorter. Quoted me $60. When I picked it up it was double the price. I was told it was because I needed to buy a specialty carbide drill bit (these bits are selling for $2.50 online). When I came into the office they used the actual bit that I provided them. Very frustrated, I asked him to meet me in the middle but no negotiation. As far as the work it is exactly what I asked for and he did offer me some good advice before all of this.

Worked with me to complete a relatively small project, pleased with the results and the willingness to work with me to complete this project.

Mr. Jerid Brumley & his staff performed flawless machine work in manufacturing custom American Ironhorse springer tubes for an American Suspension D-66 Dragon Suspension system. I needed 4 four foot tubes ordered and milled per sample, as the company representative from American Suspension was combative and wanted over $1800 to send me new tubes. JB stands for Jarrod Brumley....owner and crook of JB MACHINE...this dude will take your deposit and not do the work promised...paid him $1000 in 2010 so he could get his CNC Lathe up and running to produce my items....8 years later will not perform and complete the job, wont return my $$ and does not respond to texts or voice mails left....BEWARE.....Caveat Emptor

The guys at JB Machine bailed us out in a big way. The pump in our shear failed leaving us without the capabilities to cut sheet metal during while our work load was absolute chaos. A replacement pump from the manufacturer was two weeks out which wasnt an option for us. The guys at JB Machine sourced a US made pump and retro fitted it to our shear, which took them working a wwekend to take care of the necessary modifications. They stayed true to their quote, provided updates without asking and had the shear operational in a matter of days.
