They offered me $550 for my camera lens that was worth $8,000 but 10 years ago pretty good pricing honestly compared to the rest of the places that were wanting to either not take it cuz its so old or only pay me 100 to $200 great place friendly staff awesome for selling camera parts

I have been doing business here for about 10 years, and they are the best for pawning your valuables for loans. I always get a fair price and they never fail to notify me of expiration dates. I wont go anywhere else because I trust them with my property and they are honest fair and their longevity as a business says a lot.

I’m a little surprised at the negative reviews.Was just there yesterday purchasing some filters for my digital camera and the young lady who helped me was very informative, knowledgeable and very pleasant.Yes the camera shop is in the back, but they have a good sized counter & display. Also a decent selection of cameras & equipment. I was able to buy Film for my husbands 35 mm.Overall I was pleased with my experienceand happy there is still a camera shop in this area. Would definitely go back

This is for their camera repair part at Davis. Do not waste your time going there at least for camera repair?! I have a Canon G12 camera and gave it them for repair. The lens was stuck and was not retracting. I thought use a local store and possibly will get a better deal! Waited for a week for their estimate. Gave me estimate close to 200 $. I still asked them to repair it and agreed with their quote. Received a call few days later suggesting that does not worth repair?!!! I still told them if they can fix it with that price, I still want it repaired. Waited another week or so and finally received a call that they cannot repair it and there are other issues with the camera. Asked them on several occasion to talk with their repair guy and was told, he does not speak with public. Asked them to give me further details on issues with my camera, they told me they will talk with their tech and call me. 3 weeks has passed and nobody called me! In the meantime I sent my camera to Canon service center (in CA) and they charged me exactly the same price Davis people asked for and camera has been fixed and shipped back to me and it all took less than a week! Really amazing and excellent service from Canon service center! I believe at Davis at least their camera repair person is not honest and is just waste of your time and money going there!

Poor customer service at it’s finest. The “owner” which happens to be the daughter of the actual owner needs to take some money from that shop and invest it on some business/customer services skills. She’s definitely the perfect example of what a spoil lucky brat in the US is.I highly recommend people to not give them your service. This person treated me very disrespectfully and made it clear that she could careless about the client because she’s the “owner”.I have never done this before but I think if the only reason why i went to that location was because of this site, well is only right for me to comment on my horrid experience with them and let the people know that they really don’t care about the customers. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason why I got treated the way i did had to do with the fact that I’m not white.Adios!

Called this place today Saturday. Spoke to a woman. I briefly talk to her and asked her what kind of cameras did they offer for film. She was very rude and I could tell she was quick to rush me off the phone. She was talking to me as if I should’ve known what I was talking about but as a first time buyer literally willing to spend up to $700 today, she was no help at all. Fully prepared to give them my money today, but poor customer service doesn’t get my hard earned money. Amazon it is. Smh

This was the hardest place to find. I live in the North end of San Bernardino and I have been trying to find a camera store to develop my old film rolls and order some new things for my camera. I finally found this place and it is literally a diamond in the rough. They have a pretty decent selection of camera equipment and what they didnt have in stock that i need they ordered for me, and at a pretty good price. They are very nice and friendly, and I recommend this place to anyone who needs anything camera related.

Place is not too bad. Was able to get a fair deal for a fair price. Guys kinda tried to lowball me, but I did come out on top. Just be ready to negotiate.

So this is a pawn shop, not a camera shop. There are no on-site experts on photography. They have alot of older tech, used to be high end, equipment. I went there looking for some pro tips and questions answered. It might of been a camera shop at one point but no more. If you are looking to buy some older equipment that is priced at double what it is worth, then this is the place for u.

Took in a camera to buy film was told that 120 film would fit. I ordered it at no time was I told that I needed an adapter. When I picked film and went to put in the camera it would not fit. I called Davis Camera told him it was the wrong film at that time he told me the I would have to go on the internet that was some kind of hack that I could buy. I told him I would not have bought the film and I wish he would of told me before. naturally he said he remembered telling me. Not only am I out the cost of the film, but have to buy this adapter if I want to use camera.

This is not a camera shop. this is a pawn shop with a case that has camera things in it. They sell used items very close to brand new. They also give horrible trade in prices for cameras, but will sell an older version of your same camera for double what they want to give you for your newer one. All in all this is just another pawn shop, sub par service and probably only gets trade ins from stolen products and crack heads. if you have an unjustifiable urge to get ripped, please hurry on in.

I cant speak for everyone else but I actually thought this was an amazing local shop with a lot of history. Dolce (I hope I spelled that correctly) was very helpful and patient with me. I had my 5 year old son with me and hes got a lot of energy. She took her time and answered all of my questions about cameras and photography and got me exactly what I needed. At the end of our trip to Davis Camera Shop I was very satisfied and I will return for sure! Thank You, Dolce!!I returned again on 8-7-17 Dolce wasnt in and another employee helped me or lack There of. I feel she didnt know what I was talking about so she just told me they didnt have it. Its a VERY POPULAR cord to download pictures to your IPad from your camera. She kind of acted like I was bothering her to be honest. I still give Davis Camera 5 stars because some times people are never going to like their job and this doesnt reflect on my first experience with Dolce!!
