This art supply store is nestled in a beautiful community in San Clemente. I am from Irvine so I was not familiar with the city nor the area. But this place is quite adorable in its architecture and its setting. I fell in love at first sight.Once inside its rather small in comparison to Art Supply Warehouse (in Westminster) which is where I normally go for my art supply needs. However, they still have a good majority of the art supplies. The store associates are very attentive to your needs and seem very sweet. This store gives off a cozy, local vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed this place for its atmosphere.They seem to have art classes held here. Ive seen signs for it outside before so it might be worth checking out.If youre from South Orange County, this would be the perfect place to grab you art supply needs. But if you happen to be living as far away as I am, there are better options out there unless you just want to get away from the city life :)

San Clemente Art Supply has every tool and material under the sun, for the beginning, intermediate and professional artist. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and desires nothing more than complete customer satisfaction. Classes by a professional faculty are available, as well as life-drawing workshops, instruction in a variety of media, and drawing and painting courses for students of all ages. Framing services are top-notch, with design and construction experts on-site. For art services, San Clemente Art Supply is THE place to go!

My mom got me some graphite paper from here for my fashion illustration class at Saddleback College. She said that this place is a little pricey, but it is a store in my hometown; therefore, I believe that it is a good idea to support this place. My mom even told me herself that she supports this place by occassionally purchasing things from here that are either fun gifts for friends and family members or art supplies that are useful and convenient.

I ordered 3 cans of Montana Gold Sahara Beige and they sent me the wrong paint (Transparent) instead. When I called them to arrange an exchange for the correct product, they refused to take back the can I tested. They told me that I should have ordered a more opaque paint, despite the description on their website for this paint that states it is extremely opaque.Bad customer service, false advertising, lack of responsibility, overpriced products, and inflated shipping rates make this a horrible company to buy your art supplies from online. Youve been warned.

This store has a pretty good selection, and good sale prices to go along with it. I come into this store anytime I am in the area and always end up buying something, because the sale prices are awesome.
