For the very first conversation we had, to the day I picked up my dress, she was extremely accommodating and lovely. I had a vision and she helped bring that vision to life. Not only is she patient, but she wanted to make sure the dress was perfect and exactly what I envisioned. When the bodice wasn’t exactly right, she made the suggestion to redo it and took the time needed to make it perfect. Elly definitely has a passion to help each bride bring her dream dress to life. Even if you aren’t completely sure what you are looking for, she is amazingly talented and can work with you pick and design your dream dress. Not only did she create the most romantic dress, she even designed and made a skirt for me to change into later with my boots for dancing. I truly loved working with Elly and have recommended her to everyone I know or meet that is getting married. One of my dearest friends also fell in love with Elly throughout my journey and is now using her to design her dream dress… or I should say dresses. Not only is she talented and genuine, she realizes how expensive weddings are, and feels every bride deserves a custom gown so she keeps her prices very reasonable. My dress is stunning! I found my dress at BHLDN (it is the Naomi gown) and was recommended to Elly by one of the employees there. I purchased a spaghetti strap dress that I needed altered because of my religion. I needed to have cap sleeves but I wanted to add long sleeves because I had always dreamed of having a long sleeved dress. You wouldn’t even believe how the dress turned out. No one can tell that this dress started with spaghetti straps. In the photos attached you can see me in the dress the day I bought it. Trying to build up a dress is HARD and usually they can look patchy. It’s unbelievable and I cannot wait to have a custom wedding gown on my big day!

Blush Ivory gave me the a dress that surpassed my every expectation. Elly, the owner, is amazing - I only showed her a single picture (which didnt even show the whole dress) to work off of and she created the dress of my dreams. None of my girlfriends can believe how affordable my wedding dress was considering how gorgeous and high quality it is.

Elly has been nothing but AMAZING. I first was referred to her by another friend who had her dress custom made by Elly and it turned out absolutely beautiful. She had great things to say about her and had so much excitement throughout the whole process of designing her dress.I decided to go with Elly because she was so creative and also relatively affordable when you take into consideration of wedding dress taxes and alteration cost.Anyways, moving forward, I came in with a lot of random ideas and no idea what I really wanted from my dress, however Elly was able to figure out what I wanted, and be very flexible with me as well. She would send me sketches and we would work together. I also let her make some executive decisions about lace, color, etc and she did GREAT.At the end of the day, I really loved my dress. I accompanied my sister to have her custom wedding gown made at Blush Ivory and was blown away by Elly and her team. Elly knew exactly what look my sister was going for and was able to find the right fabrics for a dress that had a lot of fabric, textures, layers, etc. There were several fittings and each time Elly and her team were very flexible and willing to make whatever changes my sister wanted. In the end the dress was breathtaking. The bride got so many compliments. My sister looked stunning and she felt like a real princess in her gown. I had a lot of fun going to the meetings. Elly is so sweet and welcoming and really took the time to talk to us each visit. I highly recommend Blush Ivory to every bride!

I could not have been happier with my dress!!! Elly listened from start to finish and made sure I was 100% satisfied every step of the way. The process is long and seems like it might push the limit with timing, but I promise it’s totally worth it. No words can describe how amazing Blush Ivory is!!I took my wedding dress to them, which was shipped in to me by another wedding dress boutique, swimming on my body, and completely different than what I was originally expecting. I wanted so many customized changes to be done, and Elly along with her staff executed my wishes flawlessly.For very cheap, I had the dress hemmed, a bustle put in, the open back brought up slightly to fit my body better, a see through lace section put in below my chest, and a crystal belt transitioning between the see through section and the rest of my dress.Again, no words can describe how thankful I am to Blush Ivory. I can’t wait to get married now!!

I want to thank Elly for helping me. I am so grateful that I found her. I knew exactly how I wanted my wedding dress, but I waited till the last minute. When I started shopping around, no one could help. The majority of the dress makers told me there was not enough time to make my dress. I was six months away from my wedding and I had no dress. I got lucky though, and I found Blush Ivory. I called and Elly spoke with me and she said she could do it, and she did! My dress came out exactly how I had envisioned it and she delivered it with more than enough time for my destination wedding. Elly is beyond amazing! Although I didnt buy my dress from her ( had I known before I purchased my dress she customizes bridal gowns, I would have come to her!) she assisted in my alterations and made my dress AMAZING! You are only able to book a private appointment so it was nice to have Ellys attention and her expertise all to my myself. I had no idea I would be able to pick out my own fabric, which was a nice touch as well as her making my garter to match perfectly. The search for the perfect wedding dress can be exhausting. I started my dress hunt months in advance and went to several bridal boutiques in Orange County and LA County. Unfortunately, I left empty handed each time. I didnt love any of the dresses and none of them felt like the one. Finally, I decided to look for a place that would help me design a dress I would love. This is when I found Blush Ivory Gowns in San Clemente. I contacted Elly and she immediately took me in with open arms. Even though I live in San Francisco, she made the process so smooth for me. After discussing and showing pictures of the type of dress I wanted, she made a beautiful sketch of a dress for me to approve. Shes incredibly talented and incorporated everything I had to say into her design. It was such an amazing experience to see the dress I dreamed of come before my eyes. I also appreciated that Elly and her team were very patient with me. They are so sweet and made the process so easy and stress free. I started off with a princess type of dress but then realized it didnt match my body so well. So they took out the tulle a little bit at a time until we were able to achieve an A-line shape. It turned out so beautiful and I cant wait to show it off on my wedding day!

And so the story would go...I was rescued from a wedding dress nightmare when I met Elly, the owner of Blush Ivory. Ever since my first consultation with her, all my stress just melted away. She took such great care and personal interest in my vision for my dress. I wanted to create a new dress incorporating my mothers dress that she married my father in. Elly and her team took such great care in restoring my mothers dress and creating a beautiful dress that words cant even begin to describe. The delicacy in which they placed the lace appliqué in the perfect places to bring out the beauty of its age. At no point during this process did I doubt how breathe taking her team would have me looking on my wedding day. She really invested in me personally to the point where I felt like she cared just as much about my dress as I did. I can go on and on about how amazing my experience has been. Elly from Blush & Ivory made me the most gorgeous bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding. Its a replica of a gorgeous dress Ashley Graham wore earlier this year. The original was impossible to find and probably way out of my price range, so a replica was the best and really only option I had to get the type of dress I wanted. Elly nailed it! I asked her to make a few changes to address my body image issues and the end result was amazing!! I was incredibly nervous initially since I wear a plus size and I have never truly been happy with the fit of any dress Ive purchased or tried on. I wasnt expecting to love this dress, but I did!
