I was told about this store from a friend in the area who shops here regularly and said they had the best pico de gallo. I initially stopped in to pick up s container and now I stop in regularly to get a few containers at a time. It really is the best pico I have ever had. Spiciness level does very from time to time but it is always super fresh. Good selection of tortilla chips to choose from as well.
We live in San Clemente and love this Mexican market!! The market has fresh produce that could be used for almost any recipe. You could also buy alcohol and beverages from the market. I made delicious Mango avocado from produce I got there. There is also a new food place right behind the market. They have the most delicious line up of pastries! They also serve Mexican food. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and ate up on the seats outside. So convenient!
Great little neighborhood Market. Try the marinated chicken. I fry onions and red peppers in olive oil with lime. Add the Chicken. Great fajitas!
I love taco Tuesday and all their Mexican products π is my favorite store π
My favorite spot in all of San Clemente. A true neighborhood gem. I try to shop here every chance I get! They offer great produce and other delicious authentic goods at a very good value. There baked goods and ice cream are 10/10!The best part of this shop is the great character and community they bring to the neighborhood. When there was a city-wide power outage, and other shops were closed, SC Ranch Market went above and beyond. Even though their registers were down they helped their neighbors out! I saw one guy give out ice, and ask for nothing in return. I wanted to buy a lighter to light my stove, an employee gave me his lighter, and told me not to worry about it. Sure, these may be low-value items, but critical when the power out. its the thought and action that counts! They could of easily price gouged, or not decidiced to help.I used to be a skeptic about shopping small, and how most of the value stays in the community after the purchase, but truly this is the case. Shop small and support the people that care!I will be coming back and back and back again!
A real local Mexican specialty market. Fair prices kind staff. Now they have a cafe.
Great Mexican place in San Clemente. You are able to find a lot stuff that you wont find in Ralphs, Albertsons or Stater Brothers. The bakery and restaurant towards the back is a must.
Shrimp burrito sucks. More rice and tortilla than anything. The shrimp is stewed with bell pepper so thereβs more peppers than shrimp in the burrito. Cannot recommend spending nearly $10 for this. No no no.
We had an excellent cook out with the meat here. Shish kabobs . Bueno. Small, cramped, colorful. Staff looks at me like Im retarded, but I dont speak Spanish, and theyre probably fed up with that.
They have some of the best carne asada meat & produce in town. We live in Fullerton California and weve driven from Fullerton to San Clemente just to get the meat from their Market
Great market. Smells good. Tacos were great as well.
Customer service was very good π
I really feel lucky living right around the corner from this wonderful Bodega. Excellent produce and meat at excellent everyday prices. I use their taco meat in my chili instead of hamburger, fantastic! Wonderful bakery, gourmet coffee, hand packed ice cream and Mexican take out food. I particularly like the al pastor tacos.
Small market, however great produce, even a meat market. Employees are super nice. Give this place your business not those big markets that tell you to buy two of everything.
No need to cross the border to get that Delicious and unique Mexican flavor. With unbelievable deals this is another gem San Clemente has to offer.
Their vegetables and fruits are are fresh. Their fish is little expensive but itβs fresh and they clean it and cut it for free. Theyβve verity of snacks like cookies and chocolates that you wonβt usually find somewhere else.
Taco Tuesday is the bomb.... Al Pastor is my recommendation for meat. However they are all tastey
Best quesadillas also mangonadas are on point thanks keep it up!
Everything is affordable and amazing, you cant go wrong. Fresh produce, pendulum, full bakery, juices, Mexican food and coffee
For the sweet tooth its the best. For some of the best traditional foods and sweets. They also take pride in their cleanliness. Enjoy!
Great place wish they had better cish
Love and hate this market. Super nice people, good meat and produce at a fair price, but everything else is super pricy, and the time it takes for a credit card transaction can actually be painful.
Best tacos in OC
Great service, marinated chicken is the best. ππππ―. Desserts are very good as well
Check our the bakery And their great Taco Tuesday special!
Very slow way too slow when paying for food you will wait for a very long Long and very long time for your food be prepared to be there for awhile if you buy any food
Best staff. From the butchers to the register everyone loves to help!Thank you
Well we delivery cheese there
Great Hispanic market. If your making tamales or posole, this is the place to go
What a great local Mexican market. Its modern, super clean with all the Mexican foods we love. The produce is amazing and cheap. They have an extensive meat department with just about everything. Its our favorite neighborhood store.
They have a good selection. The prices are good. The people working there are very very friendly. The store is very clean.
Fresh masa for homemade tortillas is a game changer. An assortment of fresh and dried chilies made some killer salsas.
Very good place to find everything for your favorite Mexican Dishes. Then now there is open for coffee and food to go.
My family and I went to check it out for the first time. First impression was that its a cute little store. However when my husband opened up one of the dried pepper canisters a bunch of little gnats came flying out into his face. The meat in our opinion did not appear fresh. In the cafe the desserts looked delicious. I was interested in the flan, but when I looked closely it did not look good or fresh to me ( Im Puerto Rican so I know what fresh flan looks like) and then I saw a fly in the cooler where the desserts were. In the end we just grabbed some ice cream for our son and we left. Never going back.
The most disappointing $25, small and square, tres leches cake Ive purchased in my life. Ive been eating my favorite cake (tres leches) since I was a little girl. Ive tried so many recipes. From regular grocery stores to authentic locations, and even when Albertsons has them which is rare, they make them better. How? I was unhappy with the cake I purchased for my own birthday the evening of 12/27 that I went I and told them that I had not received a tres leches cake and instead of understanding the customers point of view, they said it was tres leches with very little milk. The cake was layered with cream and strawberries in the middle, which is possible but not common. I was not made aware that the cake would consist of layers. With that type of deception, I couldve possibly taken a cake home and ate something I was allergic to. The main point and the reason I will never return or recommend this store is because the cake I received was not tres leches and I wasnt even offered a replacement. I wasted $25.
Loved t place. Great service and goods good along with the ocean view make it the place to go to when in the area.
This is my spot for my meat and the new bakery they have in the back
I love to come get my Mexican spices and tortillas here. Delicious carnitas on weekends at times. The new taco shop and bakery in back is delicious. Best carnitas in town.

A wonderful mom & pop quaint little market. Very friendly and listening to the mariachi music makes me smile. Im a white girl that doesnt speak a word of Spanish but I seem to fit in anyways. Very welcoming!
Nice little neighborhood market. Great produce!
I love this store. They always have fresh fruits and vegetables at very reasonable prices. They also have anything you need to do any true, traditional Mexican cooking.
Although this market is small they carry the basics... fruits, vegetables, meat, fish and other items. I find what I need to make a meal and its affordable. The staff is always very friendly.
