Great selection of imitation meat for vegans and vegetarians. However we did not see some frozen Chinese items like radish cake. Still, pretty good selection of veggies, sauces, dry, and frozen items.

What a selection of all foods Asian. Incredible fresh & some live seafood. Produce section is huge with lots of exotic fruits & veggies as well as the usual you would expect. I bought some beautiful fresh clams and various sauces. I will be an ongoing customer. Service was great, plenty of parking including handicap right by the main door.

Went in search of Boba tea complete mix box and black Boba pearls found them. Store is really clean and well stocked

This is a good store to pick up seafood for a variety of dishes that need more than one seafood ingredient, the process are very reasonable and the selection is huge. They even carry blue crabs from the east coast when they are on season, and crawfish on a regular basis. Also, a selection of soy sauces like no other store, Asian spices and noodles, soft and hard tofu and raw peanuts and many different vegetables not available on the major supermarkets in San Diego. This is not your typical small neighborhood corner market, it is a full scale supermarket. Very popular with the Asian community.

I absolutely was shocked with this place. I am Puerto Rican and they have all the rare ingredients I need to make my authentic dishes. I love that they have all the Goya products and it’s my favorite brand for my food. I’m a real stickler for it which is very commercial. The look of the market is very dated and could use some rebuilding to help with the flow of how much they sell and make it look more organized. However, the stock of products is their unique quality and I enjoy it very much. If I want to make Philippine food this market is my go to. It’s very unique here and I hope this business excels more so they can continue their services for the community that needs them

Went here for the first time. The store is clean and well lighted. It is not crowded and has a good selection. I like the way they handle the checkout, which protects the shoppers and is fair to everyone... one line that mores fast, like Frys.

I came to grab 5 specific ingredients for Tom Yum, and this place had EVERYTHING. Even better, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Not busy at all, and lots of cashiers. Definitely will be back.

Amazing Asian store, fresh seafood, free range chicken fruits and vegetables.

We like to buy our meats here because they have a decent variety, helpful staff, and a slicer. Its nice to be able to get thinly sliced beef for pho/cheesesteaks. Its also a good place to get vegetables that arent necessarily available at big name stores.

Loved this place, the seafood market was really awesome to see, they had an awesome variety of new treats to try and an immense amount of unique ingredients for asian and mexican cuisine. The fresh produce looked great and there was even a large selection of cookware.

I, too, liked this store. I wanted to keep supporting them, so I did a pick-up order . I assumed I could drive up and get it brought out to me. I am 71 and did not want to go in a busy store because of COVID 19. Just to be safe, I emailed them asking if they would bring it out. They did not respond. I have emailed with them in the past, and they always responded. When I arrived for the pickup, I had to go inside. That is the last time I will be going inside this store.

The smell of fish is very strong because seafood is near the door, but it isnt a bad smell at all. The produce here is phenomenal. Massive variety of noodles, sauces, produce, drinks, snacks, cookies, and cookware.

This store is the status quo. Everything is clean, fresh, and feels healthy.

Whole place smells like a fish market, and I felt grimey just walking in. Not really a World foods market, as the majority of the items are Asian.I only went to try and find spicy Korean noodles, but was unsuccessful. I dont plan on going back.

The fresh mackerel from Norway we bought there today was phenomenal. Having just returned from a cruise through Norway, we know what fabulous Seafood comes from its crystal clear waters. It was quite amazing to see Norwegian fish in your Market. Please keep offering sustainable and natural fish products. I live 20miles east of this store & have to come here to get my Asian food supplies & ingredients. Unfortunately, most Asian Grocery or Supermarkets are about this distance & even farther (National City!!). There is a very distinct odor & smell as you enter ( like a foul slaughter house/ toilet smell!!) and slowly dissipates as your nose gets used to the fish area in the back. It would definitely help them if they clean & sanitize all areas, especially by the fish section!! Prices are comparable & average with the rest of the Asian stores around. Plenty of inventory, grocery, cleaning & cooking supplies. I like the vegetable section with a lot of ethnic & hard to find items to choose from. It would do their image & the business well if they clean, organize, & source out fresher seafood (the choices they have to offer right now are definitely not very Fresh, except for the live Tilapia in the tanks!). I will go back & check them out again with the hopes that they have improved.

Of all the grocery delivery services, World Foods Supermarket is the most reliable. They carry a range of great products, are always on time, and have awesome customer service. They also have recipe kits! Makes me feel like I can cook well and makes cooking convenient too!

Like most non chain grocery stores that cater to minorities. There is a butcher and a sea food prepping area. Theres a bunch of groceries that you just dont find at larger grocery stores. Only reason I didnt give it a 5-star rating is because sometimes the smell from The Butcher and fish Prep Station can be a little off-putting. You should definitely check it out.

Rude. Asian market owned by a Jewish man. Im not a racist or bigot. Im hoping some might find the humor. Should you find this post on anyway rude. Obnoxious or demeaning I apologize. But I tried to return something because it didnt taste right. I was expecting little Debbie and not it at all and she flat out told me. Asian people have different taste. Dont buy again!

I cant even begin to say how great this local market is. They have such a variety of items that pretty much makes needing to go to a larger grocery store unnecessary. Not to mention the prices are fair and the service is amazing. My partner and I love them! We moved away from Hayes but very much still shop here whenever possible. Such a gem!

Really pretty gross. Dead crabs with live crabs. Whole fish with very clouded eyes. Fish on ice, lots of melt, and room temp is usually quite warm. Strong fish smell, dirty floors. Ive been here many times for produce and fresh bread, but every time I get the urge to purchase fish, there is always an issue that I notice regarding sanitation. Too bad, I wish I could say better of it.
