Unfortunately I’ve had a very bad experience dealing with Audi of San Diego. I bought my 2015 Nissan Xterra on August 27th and since then the car has been nothing but problems. I understand that it’s a used vehicle and machines sometimes break down. On the same note I would expect such a reputable company to do a thorough inspection before they sell it to the public. The most disappointing part was having to deal with the staff who made me feel like I was making things up. I’ve tried calling Matt the sales manager several times leaving voicemails and messages with other representatives. Still hasn’t returned my call since October 18th. Maybe this is a one off and I was just unlucky with the vehicle I purchased but I would be very cautious of purchasing a used vehicle from Audi of San Diego.

Both the advisor and tech went out of their way to help.The fault happened on a Friday and when i got to the dealer they said they were completely booked and couldn’t get to my car until MondayThere were also no loaner or rental cars availableBecause i needed the vehicle Monday i unfortunately couldn’t wait and asked them to show me where the sensors were that feasibly could be at fault. The tech showed me and when i said i would do it myself he volunteered just to fix it.Half hour later the car was fixed and i was on my wayAppreciated the tech going the extra effort to help

The only reason that I didnt give 5 stars was that it took 2 weeks for my vehicle repair to be completed while waiting on a part. I do want to give a special shout out to Joshua. He came out and spoke to me about the vehicle and explained to me the issue and made me feel comfortable before I left on a 2,000 mile cross-country move.Joshua was the best!

UPDATE: in response to the cut & paste reply they gave to my review, I called and left a message for the manager and never got a call back. And they now have the 2016 Kia Sorento listed for sale on their website with NO DISCLOSURE THAT THERE WAS ENGINE REPAIR! AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS!!DO NOT BUY A USED CAR HERE! They sold me a car without oil and brakes at a dangerously low level... the engine failed because they didnt add oil for a month of test drives. I was very lucky to be in the return window (only had it for 3 days) but they didnt reimburse me for the brakes I put in the day before. They also dragged out the return process by first not returning my calls/emails, and then losing the paperwork for 3 days, which cost me more interest on the loan. Now I owe $330 on a car I dont own but they get to resell with brand new brakes! Absolute crooks! One star for the coffee machine, thats the best thing about that place. If you do go here, definitely take the car to a mechanic before buying so you dont end up with a lemon like I did.

UPDATE: tried calling the phone number in the Response from the owner which seems to lead to the same place as the general Audi San Diego phone number- no one knew how to direct me to the right person to talk to about this...was not able to get a loaner car but then had multiple issues with booking Lyft through Audi including not being able to book a ride when needed, Lyft cancelling last minute and not being able to schedule a new ride through Audi as it was after hours. It took 3 days to get my windshield replaced, was told it would be no longer than 2 days, would have been nice to have more accurate info. had to keep checking in to get updates, difficult to get text responses. Daniel at the customer service desk was very overwhelmed and kept placing me on hold while I was talking which was very frustrating. Overall, not the best experience and was disappointed given I just bought this vehicle from this dealer very recently.

I really couldn’t be happier with my experience. Neal Kelly was honest and direct with me. Instead of relaying concerns via text, he always called me. In this day and age, that’s impressive. He also recommended the maintenance package for my vehicle, which I purchased in finance because I trusted him. The sales manager was fair and came out to speak with me after the deal was done. He was great. My finance manager was fantastic. She really knew her product, treated me extremely well, and the whole process was more like a conversation. Austin, the Audi Technologist, was extremely adept at all features of the RS5, offered to (and did) follow up with me, and was a pleasure to work with. I will certainly keep my future business with Audi SD.

My car needed to get a recall first before I could buy it, and so there were a few days where I wasn’t sure what was going on. And then once fixed, a few days when it needed to be cleaned and such so I wasn’t sure when I needed to come in to but it. Also I still have a repair on the Do-bill that needs to be done, but no one has returned my calls to schedule somethings- that is been the most frustrating thin. Lastly, my contact for the dealership was working with 2 people at a time and getting in a heated price negotiation with the other people so then he came to me and I didn’t feel comfortable negotiating/ taking up too much of his time. Weird experience overall and not helpful to the car buyer unless you have tons of money and want to pay full price

Our family has leased three cars from Audi San Diego. Were on car #3. Over the past six years, Don Bragg has always been our sales rep. Were not car people, so having a representative we trust is super important to us. With just a small bit of input from us, Don really seems to understand our needs and guides us into a car that suits us and fits our budget each time. With Dons invitation, we stopped by recently to consider a larger car for our growing family. We werent expecting to leave that day in a brand new 2021 Q7. We were just looking. But Don found the perfect cars for us to choose from and made us an offer we couldnt refuse. He even got us out in less than an hour!! We told him we were in a rush because of a conference call fast approaching, and he totally matched our pace. He was jogging around the showroom and pulling every team member together to keep us on schedule. Long story short, you wont regret working with Don Bragg at Audi San Diego. Well be back.

This car was ordered 15 months ago and became one year newer during the wait. This was not the dealers fault, but was caused by covid19 in Germany! It was worth the wait! Also, I forgot to bring proof of insurance and had to return home to retrieve it and caused the salesman to stay way over his normal shift. I appreciated that very much.

Ive been a customer for a few years now and at first I had great service but that has been diminishing with time. Now hardly ever is the phone answered, when the phone is answered to make an appointment they transfer to another worker who does not answer. Then trying to make an appointment there is always about a 5 week wait, more if you need a loaner vehicle. I also went in a couple years ago for car service and they left oil leaking, my car ended up being towed to another audi, I was near and fixed by audi Carlsbad. This time similar situation long wait time, got a loaner, week wait for service to be completed. I messaged the advisor 2 hours ahead of time, when I got to audi my car still was not pulled up, waited another 30 minutes for them to pull it up. A lot of wait nowadays.I also forgot to mention for the loaner I filled up the tank and still got charged for gas, 2 gallons.

For sales I would say 1 star easy. Almost every interaction I have had with this dealership in regards to sales has been terrible.I had Fernando quote me $300 per month more than the two other San Diego dealerships for literally the exact same car.I had someone tell me I cant give you any type of better price now but when you get the final deal done with the dealership in Orange County then dont buy from them and we will beat them by $1.Last summer I had Tami not respond for 5 days or so (with several follow ups to her) then tell me the car I wanted was already sold. I have brought all of these things up to Ron and it seems like things never change.I would say if you want to buy, go to another dealership and get a way better deal and way better customer service. I have bought over 5 Audis from an A4 to an R8 and I can say that Audi San Diego is the worst by far for sales.For the service department I would say 5 stars. They are the best. Period. Never let me down so far and I have been bringing them several different cars for almost 10 years now.

George Gushulak was an excellent advisor, keeping me updated frequently and doing so in a friendly and kind manner. However, no loaner vehicle available for a long period of service. No offer to get me a 3rd party loaner which really inconvenienced me for having to arrange my own car rental, costing me unnecessary time and my money considering I spent around $10,000 in servicing my A6 there in the past 12 months. With my vehicle at 100,000 miles, I was considering buying a new Audi vehicle but after this poor service experience, I will no longer be purchasing Audi products and no longer get my A6 serviced at Audi San Diego.

I initially came in to test drive a car almost 2 months before actually finding the right one. Rob Pickard and Neal Kelly worked as a team over the following 2 months, helping arrange various test drives and providing as much as info as I needed to make an informed decision. They were incredibly patient as I wavered back and forth on several different cars, but were always timely with their responses and made me feel like a valued customer. Truly amazing customer service experience. Everyone in staff were nice and friendly. Video report upon completion of service is a great way of explaining each service item. Only negative comment is that the loaner vehicle was not cleaned after the previous use; windshield was filthy inside and the touchscreen was clearly smeared with fingerprints. Despite the loaner comment; all in all one of the best vehicle service experience. Well done Audi SD!

First, I was alone on the lot for 5-10 minutes, which allowed me time to walk around and look at stickers without being hounded. Tia came out, and I was glad a woman salesperson approached me. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease right away. I was able to test drive alone, which was a bonus, no small talk and having someone watching over me. When it came to price, I told Tia what I was able to spend and there was minimal haggling. That was a plus.

Was shopping for a 4th gen Lexus GS when I spotted that Audi of SD had it, and for below market value. Skeptical at first, I drove by just to see if it was in rougher shape than it seemed, but sure enough it was definitely exactly as seen. Mario Chabata immediately both me and my father, and after explaining our finances he got right to work on getting me financed for the car. This was my first time buying a car from the dealer, so I didnt expect to be accepted on the first try without a high APR. After being told exactly that, we ran the numbers again with my father as the primary signer and me as a cosigner and sure enough we got the ball rolling again. when it came to test drive, it turned out that the battery in the car was dead, and Mario pushed to get it replaced ASAP, and when the test drive was taking place, i noticed that the alignment of the car was off. Mario also got the technicians to take care of that. when we met Dan Chappelle, we ended finding out that the dealer was losing some money on the car, since whoever priced it did so below market value. Great guy btw, despite running us through all the options we can get, he wasnt being too pushy with them, and respected our decision to only get the GAP insurance option. Lots of waiting occurred for the new battery, I ended up taking the car home and be called later when the new battery arrived so that they can replace it. On the way home and back to the dealer, I noticed the steering wheel was still off, since I had to turn a little to the left to keep the car straight, brought this up to Mario again, and alongside with the battery change, they did the alignment again and gave me the spec sheets of its current geometry. the steering wheel still isnt 100% straight yet still, however this is not 100% Audi of SDs fault. Alongside the alignment, if the car was at a Lexus dealership, they would also reset the steering angle sensors so that everything is 100% center. Audi of SD did the absolute best they could, but well, this is a Lexus, NOT an Audi, so of course there is only so much they can do to it to get everything lined up as straight as possible, especially considering that their equipment is again, meant for AUDIs, and not a Lexus. Overall though, for it being my first car buying experience, Mario definitely made it a good experience, and I am definitely enjoying my 13 GS350 F Sport. If you wanted to buy a car here, Mario is definitely the go-to guy, hands down.

Needed brakes, no debating that. But the cost was outrageous ($4000 when I can get it done for around $1200 elsewhere with better quality non-OEM parts), and in the end they tried to lie about the reasons (your rotors are very thin) and werent even sure which rotors need to be replaced, did not measure it, could not tell me anything about what was tested. Just saw an easy mark and offered repair to front, or no, rear brakes. In the end told me front needs to be replaced, that theyre thin (18mm) and I told them Ive already had confirmed it was the front that needed to be replaced and theyre quite thick (34mm). Either incompetent or deceptive... not the first time Ive had this kind of experience at Audi San Diego. You know my father-in-law speaks of his auto service dealer who will tell him ways to save money, and will urge him not to do unnecessary repairs... trust. I feel that ASD will go out of their way to do the opposite. Which do you want to be at the end of a lifetime of service? Oh, and communication... absurd. A problem every time, and you still owe me a replacement key, and... well I guess Ill have to call YOU and remind you.

This is the 3rd car we have purchased at Audi of San Diego. The time Mario Chabaytya was our Audi Brand Specialist and Dan Chapelle was our Finance person. We had purchased a Q3 from you on May 24th. But a DUI driver crashed into it on August 31. The Q3 was a total loss, but fortunately, the Q3 did its job and my wife had only minor injuries. My long distance online car purchase is Very disappointing, and still waiting for my car. Tia was an excellent online salesperson, but financialing with Lisa was horrible. I explained to Lisa I have my own financing through my credit union Navy Federal. LISA assured me this will be a smooth transaction that they do long distance sales all the time. To my surprise Lisa still without my permission tried to get financing through several banks. Now I cant get no one to return my calls. Legal actions will be taken soon.

Very busy service center, so it was really amazing how well organized and smooth the entire process was. Very impressive.My only complaint is that an oil change shouldn’t cost over 700 dollars. Audi service is really good but there’s no excuse for the ridiculous - LUDICROUS - pricing. In addition, Audi seems to be ignoring their competitor’s practice of offering free service for the first two years of ownership.I won’t buy an Audi again, and I urgently invite the senior Audi leadership to resign and let some new blood into the boardroom, because whoever takes over literally cannot possibly do any worse than the people currently in charge.

I love that you take a vlog with the service technician explaining how my car is doing. Keep doing this! On the flip side of things, anytime we take our Mercedes in for service they wash and vacuum it out. However, our Audi is much newer and I can’t believe you don’t do the same. Every since I purchased my vehicle from Audi they have never cleaned or vacuumed it once they were done with the service work. I have also been waiting over a year for a recall part. I had to endure constant beeping due to my passenger side not recognizing that no one is sitting there. I fastened the passenger side seatbelt but the light stays on. Now you tell me this part isn’t available just yet. It’s unacceptable.This was my only reason for not giving 5 Stars.

Service was great. Loaner car was great. I received the call my car was ready before noon.When I came to pick-up my car shortly after 2pm, it was busy in the service drive, almost chaotic. I waited about ten minutes outside before someone acknowledged me and asked if I was waiting for my vehicle. They checked my paperwork and said it would be coming up right away. A few minutes later, he came back and asked if I wanted to wait 8-10 minutes longer for a wash, or take it right away without being washed. I was in a hurry, so I took it without being washed.I assumed when the service advisor called to say it was ready, it was actually ready.

Everything went well, except a backup in the folks that were to detail (take off the stickers, wash the car) the car. I did have to wait about 3 hours after I had finalized my purchase for the final detail, but it was worth it. The car so far is outstanding for a used vehicle. There was an issue with the battery needing to be jumped when I was ready to finally leave but it has not had any issue since I left the lot. Denise Oliver was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with to complete the deal.

I asked my advisor to look into whether an update for the lock and unlock feature from the Audi app existed for my vehicle; currently my car does not have this feature. When I purchased my vehicle last year I was told it had this feature; after my purchase and through my own diligence, I learned it did not. At the time, I was told an update would be coming in the near future and to check back in.I did so during my recent visit, and I was told an update existed that would allow for the lock and unlock feature to work for my vehicle. I was directed to the tech specialist at the dealership. The tech specialist then directed my to Audis 877 number. I contacted the 877 number and was told my vehicle still does not allow for this feature.This is the second time Audi brand specialists (sales & service) give me incorrect data. Im not certain if the repetitive nature of this issue is due to a general lack of knowledge or a diligence failure on the part of Audi brand specialists.Either way, it erodes trust and runs contrary to Audi brand values; appreciation, openess, responsibility and integrity.Regards,

Gotta give kudos when theyre deserved, and Audi SD delivered I must say. I worked with Nabi, who worked with me in person and via text/email. Was great working with him. When I went in to make the purchase, a deal was made painlessly and quick. On this day, I had limited time available, and the finance dept was very fast and efficient. I was in and out in about 60-75 minutes with my new car.Literally zero bad things to say about the experience honestly.

I was greeted right away and felt welcomed. George G. was friendly and helpful in getting my car serviced right away. I made an appointment prior, but he gave me realistic expectations since I was waiting there for my car. Bring your laptop if you need to work, I forgot mine. They have many lounge areas with TV, WiFi, and the beverage selections are top tier. The vanilla latte hit the spot.I came in for a tire replacement because mine had blew off! I dont know who needs to hear this, but GET THE TIRE WARRANTY! I only had 7K miles on my car and this happened, just bad luck I suppose, but GET IT, you wont regret it! Also, my A5 Sportback Pirelli tires do not have run flats (not sure if thats the standard for all A5s but FYI).Overall great location and service, I will come back to get my car serviced here. :)

Fabulous experience. Alex Sovran is an awesome car salesman, with so much knowledge about car selling and Audi features, it really helps us to understand the feature of Audi so well. Truly impressed with his communication skills, I would love to buy another car from Audi if come across such an awesome sales representative, he also helped us in negotiating the car value, also explained why it is worth buying it. The finance team was quick with paperwork, it really saved a lot of time. Finally even after I bought the car, Alex had such patience to walk me over other car features which have helped me drive back home. Truly impressed with the dealership.

Buying an A8 I feel warrants having a loaner available. That’s more a dealership issue and would be my only reason to choose another Audi service department. I won’t because of Damian!!
