As a surveyor, I work with many mechanics and service personnel. I was quite impressed with Gary and his team with the mechanical survey of the Zeus Drives as well as the Cummins Diesels. Very Professional and explains the operation of the system to the buyer of the vessel and upfront as to the care and frequency of servicing these drives. Ill be referring clients that request service and who or where to go for the San Diego Area.

I wanted to say thank you to the staff at First Watch Marine. I called with questions about my MerCruiser engine and they were extremely knowledgeable and very, very helpful . When it comes to boating these guys really know their stuff!! I would highly recommend them for all of your boating needs.

I needed repairs to my Mercury outboard and Robert, Gary and Brian were right on it! A test drive was conducted one day after I called (very timely for boat repairs!) and within a week all parts had arrived and the service was completed. I truly appreciated Roberts phone calls keeping me informed and when I called their office, they actually answered their phone versus other places where you play phone tag for days. The written estimate was very detailed, so I knew the price ahead of work being completed. Brian took time explaining the repairs needed and now my motor works and sounds like new!

I rarely write reviews, but i am taking the time to thank First Watch Marine for their help. Ive used them on several occasions; the first one when i was having a hard time replacing a starter. It was in a bit of an awkward spot, I had managed to get the old one off, but couldnt fit the new one. PK came to my rescue, verified the part and was able to fit it and get the boat going-weekend saved. The next time was helping to diagnose and supply deep cycle batteries for my Islander 44-seems obvious, but was actually a bit confusing, but I learned much from them in the process.I would recommend these folks, their cost is worth the skill and level of professional help. I really appreciate the way Gary carefully and methodically goes through each system. I know they work on large and very complicated yachts, and my problems were small in comparison, but I felt like they took good care of me.

Extremely pricey and did not solve the problem on my boat. Also, in the shop, I was overcharged greatly on some parts and it took several weeks for a refund. No sorry, kiss my arss, or anything. Very bad customer service. Such a shame.

Really a great company!Diagnostics were spot on, the work was completed on schedule and the cost was very reasonable. You wont do better than First Watch Marine (unless you are looking for a good burger).
