My vehicle didn’t pass the visual smog inspection for not having a cover over the intake filter. Went to another smog places and they said that was not the issue. The other place was much more helpful to figure out what was actually needed and provided me a refund without hesitation for failing plus an inexpensive way to solve my issue. CJ kept my money even after failing. I will not be doing business with CJ ever again. Let alone how hard it was to hear anything inside from the loud birds.

I waited until the absolute last minute to get my new plates. I showed up to AA Smog Shop during my lunch break and there were a couple of people ahead of me. I asked how long it would take, thinking it could possibly be over an hour, and the owner said no longer than 20 minutes. I was in and out so quick! I would recommend AA Smog Shop to anyone that wants fast and quality service. Not sure what the average smog check prices are, as I am from the Midwest, but I paid $60.

When ever there is an issue with my Jeep I take it to Chris (and Jon before that) and I know I will get great customer service. This issue will always be handled and I trust him to be honest and not try to sell me something I dont need. It can get pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Dont trust this shop! He isnt competent enough to look up the C.A.R.B number stamped on the product. He told me he wanted my money but wont smog my truck becuase I installed the wrong part.All had to do was enter the entire EO number into the machine. Thats ok though. I took my money that he so badly wanted to a shop that was able to do this simple task correctly the first time.

This place gets all the stars! They not only know how to test smog, they know how to test your car. If you have a car thats older than 1993 (without the OBD2) THIS is the place where you should go. All the older cars after 1975 to 1993 are difficult to test and will FAIL if you dont do it right. Dont get me wrong: Your oil burning smoke bomb will probably not pass. Its not about cheating. But even if your car is really taken care of you might have difficulties getting it through most smog testing stations because it doesnt have a modern diagnostic system.

Checked the website on Saturday morning and it said they were open until 2:30pm. Drove up to their place at 1:30pm and noticed that on the door there is a sign that they are open on Saturdays until 2pm. Go to the door and its locked, so much for looking at their website.
