I loved dress shopping at Bridal & Veil! I had been to three other wedding dress shops before I came here and found my wedding dress for $1,500, which fit perfectly in my budget.I emailed with the shop prior to my appointment and they assured me they would have dresses in the style I was looking for. Everyone was wearing a mask and the store is spacious, so we always felt comfortable.My stylist was Carmen, who was friendly and helped me find my perfect dress after I explained what I wanted. I tried on four other dresses and they were all beautiful. Pictures are of the ones I didn’t choose.I ordered my dress in September of 2020 and it arrived in March of 2021. My wedding isn’t until January 2022, but I ordered my dress super early because I wanted to be sure it arrived with plenty of time what with delays from the ongoing global pandemic.I received a text from the shop letting me know when it had arrived and they said they could hold it for me until I was ready to pick it up. I got to go into the shop and try it on a few days ago! It was so fun to see it after a year of finalizing all my other wedding details.I won’t be back for my first fitting until November, but I am so excited our wedding is coming up and grateful for this wonderful experience!

I had THE BEST possible experience at this place!!!!! My plan was just to go and see and I found the perfect dress after trying only 4!They have 1500 dresses so I can guarantee you will find THE ONE!Gabbie understood and helped me to make the experience even more pleasurable.On the othe hand, Sal and his wife know their business and give each bride the best advice!THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING PART OR THIS INCREIBLE MOMENT!

They were super supportive of me because of the pandemic I postponed my wedding several times. I also did the alterations here. I am still in love with my dress. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCEordered my dress and received no communication whatsoever afterwards.If I had not continually reached out to them on my own -I very highly doubt I would have even got it in time for my wedding.They had to have it overnighted and I got it one week before my wedding, it was also about 6in too long, so I had to rush and stress and find a seamstress who would and could do a MAJOR alteration in 5 daysAnd ya know add anther $600 to the cost of the dress, to pick it up one day before my wedding. — really!? ( I did NOT trust them to do alteration ) Stressful and costly.Plenty of bridal shops in San Diego why go here? No need to take the risk of having this experience…My dress was the MOST important thing for me and my wedding and it turned into the most stressful.

This boutique makes you feel like family. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and did a great a wonderful job assisting me through the entire bridal dress experience. So many wonderful dresses to choose from, endless styles for every bride. The owners Sal & Farhina were especially wonderful. I’m actually sad my wedding is over and I don’t get to visit this amazing boutique for fittings & alterations.

This has been one of the worst experience Ive dealt with a bridal shop. If any potential bride intends on purchasing a dress from this shop, please avoid at all cost and go elsewhere.April of 2021, I had placed an order for my wedding dress, that was set to come mid August, as my wedding was planned for the 11th of this September. During the duration of April till August. I kept consistent contact with the shop to ensure my dress would get here in time, and the whole time they were VERY sure it would and should still come mid August. Mid August rolls around and I get no response while reaching out to receive an update and which I did, but not what I wanted to hear.They gave me no explanation nor were they transparent that my dress hadnt even shipped yet from overseas late August. I spoke to Farhina and Sal a few times regarding my dress and they ensure me my dress would come in time before my wedding. Which is now 7 days away!That is when I bluntly ask for a FULL REFUND at this point, it felt entirely like a scam and they honestly think I had time to just drop everything and drive 2 hours to do a fitting and then go back for adjustments. Sal, then had the audacity to tell me to come in, to pick any of the hundreds of dresses they had at their shop to alter and get ready for my wedding.If I had wanted that, I would have suggested that in the midst of my wedding planning. He thought that was appropriate approach, of course I did not want any other dress, I wanted the dress I PICKED and ORDERED! He then told me to wait another 48 hours to see what they could do, which is nothing.Its now the 4th of September and Ive heard nothing but crickets and Im dress-LESS having to run around find an alternative dress and possibly having to pay 5x more for a dress and to expedite the alterations.Ive attached screenshots for reference, please stay away from this shop to avoid all the unnecessary trauma and stress theyve provided to me. Highly unprofessional bridal shop.

It was a very nice experience. I was on a panic mode since l ordered my dress on line and didnt fit and the quality wasnt what l expected. My wedding is in 11 days. They made the extra effort to find me a dress l was happy with and stayed on my budget! My dress is amazing and way better than the original. They were so nice and patient. Bridal and Veil helped me find my dream dress! The staff was amazing and professional! The owner and his wife went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I felt faint during my alterations and everyone rushed around finding me water and snacks! I was beyond impressed at their level of customer service. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left with my dress, I was so happy with how I was treated! I drove all the way from LA for this place and it was worth every mile!

I can not say enough good things about this place! We had gone to other places that were the opposite of helpful. We worked with Carmen and she actually LISTENED! She heard what the bride wanted, gathered several options, and absolutely nailed it on the first try. Perks of studying fashion design! While we were waiting, Shandra entertained us with her amazing personality and knowledge as well. I wanted to take both of them home with me! (Or better yet, just live at this store) They hire quality staff that know what theyre doing and make sure every bride gets exactly what they want. The alterations coordinator was incredibly helpful and made us feel as if absolutely anything was possible. I dont live in California but I want to come here to get my wedding dress in the future! 50 gold stars❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Bridal and veil went above and beyond to make my dress dreams a reality. I feel in love with a dress but despite my mothers wishes refused to wear anything but black. The team made it happen! After designers refused to make me the veil I pictured the in house designer made me a one of a kind veil with the matching beads from my dress. When my dress arrived for my first fitting I was speechless, I seen the dress before and tried it on but it being black was a game changer. Needless to say everyone at my weeding was shocked but also stunned at the beauty of my dress and of course me in it. My wedding was a dream and I wish I could live in my dress, one day Ill be buried in it.Til Death

This was my first place I went to shop for dresses before Thanksgiving. Kiely was so helpful finding dresses in my budget and also some other options just to try. I enjoyed talking to her honestly about the dresses I tried on and other tips/tricks. Since we were the only ones in the store the owner started bringing me dresses & veils to try on. I really enjoyed the family feel, attention to detail & budget. Just make sure you ask about the $100 savings upfront because they will not honor it later.

My sister was looking for a particular style and we found a dress but wanted to think on it. We came back in the next day and Shandra worked with us both days. Today my sister found her dress! We went to another store in-between this one and the other people we worked with were terrible compared to Shandra. If you are looking for somewhere where the staff are incredible you should really consider coming here! We had the best experience.

The ladies at Bridal and Veil made a dreadful experience during COVID so pleasant and memorable! I picked up my dress for my April 10th wedding and they didn’t haven’t any garment bags for sale, but they were so sweet as they pulled this pink garment bag out of storage and gave it to me! I recommend Bridal and Veil time and time again! Your wedding experience should be a positive one and these ladies have definitely enhanced mine! Nightmare became a blessing. What can I say or where do I even start. I came in crying and with my asma to the worst of the worst. It was only 4 or 5 days before my wedding and the place that I had originally ordered my dress had no answer for me about my dress. But who cares about them now anyway. I regret not going with Bridal & Veil since day one. Called and Reva told me to come in right away. Came in with an idea of a dress (the previous one I had ordered) But she also brought me other options. Told her what my dream dress looked like and she made it happen. The owners made me feel like family and made the bad experience into a blessing. I want to cry every time I think about it. But my wedding was a success and I know that they went above and beyond with my request. Barbara took my dress in a bit and had it ready days before the wedding. (Remember I only gave theme 4 days before the actual wedding day.) I have no words to express my gratitude and love for you guys. Thank you soooo much. Many future brides will be recommended to you!

I was recommended Bridal and Veil by my friend who’s cousin actually purchased her dress from there. I needed to find a bridal salon that could accommodate 10 women for my first round of trying on dressed. I scheduled an appointment easily and they had a private area set up where my family was able to sit. When I arrived and met with the bridal consultant, who I believe was either Silvia or Cynthia, she asked me what kind of dresses I like. She picked about 7 dresses based on my explanation and ones that would fit my body type. I guess I should have started off with…I am a full-figured women with several body conscious issues. When the bridal consultant came into the fitting room with several dress options she showed and explained some of the dresses she had pulled. I saw the dress I wanted to try on first and I was shocked because I new right away that it was the one. When she found me a matching veil and put some shoes on my she prepared all of my family for the first dress. As I walked out we all started to cry. Of course I felt the need to try on some other options but they only enforced the known fact that the first dress I tried on was the one and only dress for me. The bridal consultant was sweet, and she really listened to what I wanted. She was a pleasure to work with and so were the rest of the employees. I had no issues with the alterations and I was pleased with the services they provided. If I ever had to get married again, which I don’t ever plan on doing again, I would go back to Bridal and Veil.

I walked into Bridal an Veil yesterday as I walked in Carmen greeted me,I couldn’t have found a better person to understand what I was looking for!she understood my vision and pulled different dresses along with color schemes to see how those colors would match as well as a bouquet to see how it would all tie in together.I never felt rushed or pressured into anything as she wanted to make sure I left with the right dresses for my bridesmaids.I highly recommend this place as they had a good amount of choices to choose from but mostly having someone like Carmen to be as helpful to find us the dresses we all loved and every girl felt their best in for my special day💕

Omg I went to 10 different salons before I came here and that was it! Tam was so wonderful and helpful and actually helped to pick THE DRESS! It was exactly what I wanted and at the very reasonable price too. Their service is amazing, and the owner himself came by to make sure everything was perfect. Moreover, their seamstress Larisa was so accommodating and lovely! She changed alterations within two hours while I went to run some errands. They have huge selection, great prices and a professional team. No wonder they have been in business for 40 years!

Went in looking for a wedding dress with my cousin and found her dress the same day! Superb customer service. Above and beyond friendly and listened to what type of dress we were searching for in her budget and delivered within an hour.! Amazing. Cannot recommend enough. I love everyone that works at Bridal & Veil. I shopped around for a wedding dress at quite a few stores. When I told some stores my budget they just gave me one of those “are you kidding me” looks and either showed me dresses that were beautiful, but way above my budget or they didn’t really help / were rude about it. When I walked into Bridal & Veil I was immediately helped and felt welcome. All the dresses they showed me were in my budget – they were very respectful of my budget and didn’t let me try on anything I couldn’t afford. I was really thankful for this. She was also great at giving me ideas for my overall look – the veil, the hair etc. They also gave me a great idea to make my dress sparkle more and the owner personally added beading to my dress that made it even more beautiful. I enjoyed working with them so much that I had all my bridesmaids order from them as well. And because there were so many bridesmaids the owner gave us a group discount as well. I would recommend this store to everyone, they made my dress shopping experience fantastic.

I found my wedding dress here, couldnt be more in love with it, and was surprisingly good value. Didnt feel the same pressure to buy as other places, made the whole process fun and enjoyable.

My bridesmaids and I visited this location for my upcoming wedding and I have to say I was absolutely impressed. The environment of the venue was great and well maintained. This is my first google review ever! and an important one too! I am getting married at the end of the month and had a really short engagement. Bridal and Veil was one of the many bridal shops I visited and was by far the best. Sal runs a beautiful store and Carmen helped me find my dream dress almost instantly, she knew exactly what I was looking for! They were so helpful and nice and made the whole process easy! I had the worst experience ever. My dress alterations cost way too much and the dress was not ready on the day it was promised. The seamstress got her days mixed up. mind you my wedding was in a week. I had to go back 3 other times because the dress was not hemmed correctly. 2 days before my wedding I spent 6 hours with the seamstress and the ladies who work there trying to get the dress to bustle so I wasnt tripping on it. Long story short I ended up hating my dress and tripped multiple times during my wedding. My dress was under my feet all the way around. After my pictures I had my bridesmaids cut the dress so I could dance without worrying about tripping and falling. They did not offer any thing to make up for the inconvenience, stress, heartache, time missed from work and the gas to drive there and back 4 times 45 min drive.

They made the process very simple and they knew the right questions to ask in order to find exactly the perfect dress for me. This is one of the easies things I had to pick out for my wedding. So I found this store in Mission Valley, a beautiful store with a huge variety of dresses. For starters I had no real idea of what I wanted or had anyone to help me. All I knew is that I needed to pick my dress pronto. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by one of their bridal consultants named Angel. I told her what I had in mind and she quickly started pulling dresses for me to try on and also brought me ones she thought would look nice on me . She was not only very nice, but very professional and knowledgeable. She helped me pick a dress I not only fell in love with but flattered my body type and helped me pick my headpiece as well. As a bonus it was all within my dress budget that I had. Super excited and happy, cant wait for my dress to arrive !!!

This store has the BEST selection of wedding gowns! The staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are extremely accommodating too. They have a beautiful new fitting room that can accommodate a slightly larger group and pricing cannot be beat! I highly recommend making an appointment and having an idea of the type of gown your looking for!

Bridal & Veil was the 6th bridal shop i visited. I had seen a Kitty Chen dress on instagram and called them to see if they had it. They did and took me later that day to try it on. I was helped by Paul. The gown was gorgeous. He was so helpful and not pushy at all, he was actually really friendly and funny. I had a horrible experience at Prevue so i wasnt ready to buy just yet. I explained to B&V the situation and they really listened and made me feel at ease. 2 weeks later I visited again just to look at the dress again, I was this close to buying another dress at another shop and so glad i didnt! It was a Sunday afternoon and the shop was really busy and they accommodated me and totally helped me out without an appointment. I know a few girls looked uneasy because they werent being attended to as they were running behind. I would urge everyone to have patience as they are so busy during the weekend. I am so so glad i got my dress at B&V, I am so thankful for Paul and his honesty. Oh, and only bad part is the stink from the dispensary next door.

When I walk by the store is very inviting very clean. The layout of the dresses our based on style. The owners our very hands on the staff is very customer service and helpful. The greeting when you come in is welcoming. I very much enjoyed my day.

Absolutely recommend this shop because Tom was so helpful and really listened to what I really wanted in dress. Gave me many options and tips to finding the perfect dress and I ended up saying yes to the dress. I do recommend setting up an appointment on a weekday because the shop isnt as busy and more focused on you.

After trying on gowns at at least 9 different bridal store (yes I know...) I finally found the one at Bridal & Veil! I purchased and ordered it last July and was very worried it wouldnt be here in time for my visit this week.Fahina was very reassuring and always on top of things! She was very thoughtful and friendly!I had my fitting today and the dress was absolutely perfect, truly a dream come true! Walked in with my girlfriend when we passed by it and saw the sign on the freeway. Parking was a little difficult, but we managed. We just thought of it as a stop since she only recently got engaged. When we got in, we were surprised to find an amazing store with such a large selection that was incredibly diverse in styles. I talked to a sales consultant, Reva, and she spent an hour or so helping us find different looks and styles that matched our ideas. We were able to narrow it down to two dresses that we really loved. And now my girlfriend is going to come next week with her mom to finalize her choice. Really recommend this store to anyone who isnt sure what their style is or what theyre looking for. Bridal veil is a diamond in the rough!!

Wow! I cannot believe the amount of wedding gowns they have and the customer service is great. I had gone in to browse the beginning of the year and was put off with the staff but they seem to have hired new people because they were the opposite, thank goodness! I’m still in the process of finding “the one” but I do have 2 favorites and thanks to Sarah I am one happy soon to be customer :D

This review is over due!!! I said YES to the dress here at Bridal and Veil about two months ago and I cant say enough about the incredible service and selection. Tam only showed me dresses within my budget and really LISTENED to what I wanted. I didnt have to lift a finger or dig through the racks trying to imagine what would look good. Tam brought dress after dress to my fitting room, and was so patient as I found small issues with one after another. But he never gave up pulling all different styles and options. Finally, I found THE ONE and didnt want to take it off! I cant wait for it to arrive. The sales manager was on the floor with his associates the whole time and was so helpful, supportive, and hands on. I went to multiple salons in the San Diego area, but none could match the experience I had at Bridal and Veil. Thank you!

I went to 4-5 wedding dress boutiques before making my way to Bridal and Veil on a mission to find a long sleeve, lace wedding dress from my Pinterest dreams. Not only did I find THE dress (they have so many more options), but at a fraction of the cost of the dresses I had liked from the other boutiques. WIN WIN! The ladies there were so unbelievably nice and helpful throughout the entire process. My alterations were amazing and she was so quick! I ended up buying my veil from there, as well and they took care of all the shipping to get my things back to my home. Highly recommend!

Came here after a not so fantastic experience at another store and Tam took PHENOMENAL care of us and everything he picked out was just absolutely amazing! I’m 100% recommending all my friends here!

The owner and staff members was very friendly.The shop was very elegant and well organized.Service and selection is a lot better here than the common bridal store. I was one of 3 women that had appointments at that store with no luck and we all ended up getting our dresses here on the same day.Overall great experience.

I had a terrible experience buying a bridesmaid dress and Im really really not a tough customer, Im usually happy with the service everywhere I go. I had to constantly call to get confirmation that my order was actually placed with the manufacturer (even though my card was charged instantly - 6 months before the wedding), I did not get calls back when they said they would, they always had trouble locating my order and when the dress did arrive it got here 4 days before the wedding and TOO SMALL with no possibility of altering to make it larger. $200 to the trash and no dress for the wedding. Im impressed this store is still open.

The price for the dresses are reasonable, but the service is horrible! My wife was expecting a high level of service but every visit was the same impersonal treatment. You are just a number here, not even a name. Someone should leave with their dress excited for the wedding, not complaining about the service. EDIT: this is for the store in Mission Valley

Walked in and immediately greeted by a friendly staff. Tip: look for the guy with looooooooooong straight hair to help you try on dresses. He knows more about wedding dresses, can give you more tips and ideas, and has more patience than anybody!

Great place to go when wanting to get a custom dress. Obviously Im a man, but I went here with my sister and these guys were really helpful and nice. I would recommend them to anyone wanting custom stuff.

I came in on a saturday afternoon with my best friend in search of her wedding gown and we found it here!!! We were very amazed at all the dresses they had! Literally every designer we mentioned- they had! Our bridal consultant Leslie was very sweet and attentive. She was so patient with us the entire time and never changed her positive attitude towards us. The bridal consultants here are very experienced (which was very relieving) Leslie worked with us directly one on one. She kept bring us dresses that were better than the next, until we finally came across the one!! The selection is very large, my friend got to try on every style to see what worked best for her body shape. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I definitely reccomend coming here for a wedding gown. Its basically 5 stores in 1! Also, one thing i thought was super neat- when my friend said Yes to the dress all the employees gathered with cute little signs and clapped for her and made her feel very special!!! ❤ Thank you Bridal And Veil!!! ❤❤❤

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS, OR BETTER YET NEGATIVE STARS.. I WOULD! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!Im writing this review because Im appalled by how unprofessional & lack of respect this place, more specifically the owner/manager Sal has treated my former bride. Of all the weddings Ive planned and coordinated, this is by far the worst experience Ive witnessed.My former bride (client) ordered her dream wedding dress months in advance, the sales associate as well as the owner/manager Sal all reassured her that she will receive her dress no later than May. Fast forward, May rolled around and still no dress in sight. Not once did they reach out to her to update her on the status of the dress, instead my former bride had to call in everyday just to check up on the status. Finally with just TWO weeks before the wedding, the dress finally arrived, leaving little to no time for her to get her alterations done. When things couldnt get any worse, it did!! They placed the order for the WRONG dress!!! She had originally ordered a mermaid style dress, instead a ball gown showed up.Instead of owning up to their mistakes, they were being so rude and hostile to my client. The owner/manager Sal even had the audacity to tell her hed give her money back and told her to go find a dress somewhere else. With just 2 weeks left until the wedding day, how was she able to find a dress?!?!? Finally her only option was to get the floor sample dress, and she basically had to pay the full price for it.To all the brides-to-be, STAY FAR AWAY FROMTHIS PLACE. Dont give them the time of day, and dont give them your business. Sal, the owner/manager is the worst! My client recently wrote a bad review explaining her horrible experience, and he had the audacity to reply back and throwing religion into the mix. Its absolutely absurd. I attached a screenshot of his response so everyone can see how ignorant he is. Lets see what ignorant response hes going to throw at me for my HONEST review.

I went to several bridal boutiques around San Diego, all of which were nice enough but didnt have what I was looking for. My mom and I were on our way back from one such place and drove past the Bridal & Veil outlet in Alvarado Canyon and we decided to stop on a whim. Both women working at the time, whose names escape me, were very nice and tried to find the style of dress I was wanted. One of the women also worked at the Bridal & Veil on Camino Del Rio and knew the inventory, she actually pulled up several dresses online, one in particular caught my eye. She called over to the store and asked them to pull it for me and was able to set me up with a consultant, Reva, right away even though I didnt have an appointment.Reva was amazing, she is so friendly and knows what she is doing. She listened to everything I wanted, asked the right questions and pulled some really beautiful dresses and my mom got a showing room all to herself! I ended up with a completely different dress than what I was looking for. Right when I walked into the boutique there was a dress hanging up away from all the other dresses, it was just sitting there, like it was waiting for me. Its perfect and beautiful and Reva knew the moment that I put it on from the look on my face that this was it. I tried on a couple more dresses just in case but nothing could compare. My experience there was fantastic and the staff was great, especially Reva!

I found this bridal shop on the Knot website. When I called the woman on the phone, Cynthia was very nice and friendly. She was very inviting for us to come into the boutique. Making an appointment was very easy with her. My mom and I went in the first time with an appointment. Araceli was our consultant. She was wonderful!!! We loved how friendly and easy going she was. She was very pleasant and helpful the entire time we were there. I brought in a few photos and she sat and talked to us first about my wedding and styles I had in mind for my dresses. She was very thorough and very nice to work with. I was not sure of my dress selection and wanted to go home and sleep on it- the store was very understanding and made an appointment for me for the next day just in case. The next day we went to a different bridal boutique. They had some selections that were nice but overall Bridal and veil was the perfect place for us. Araceli was there the next day and she was so welcoming and happy to see us.The ambiance,care and service we received were wonderful and made this experience very memorable. I loved the dress Araceli brought out for me to try on and felt that it was the overall experience and her costumer service and friendliness that encouraged me to purchase my wedding dress here. After choosing my dress the staff and owner Sal brought out a sign, and confetti!I would highly recommend Bridal and Veil for your bridal gown shopping.Ask for Araceli you will love her!!

AMAZING!!! Rosana helped me and she listened to everything I was asking for, kept our budget in mind, and was my mini therapist for the day! I made the mistake of bringing 6 people and I was overwhelmed and confused. Rosana got the whole store team on my side and they gave me a pep talk, came and helped out during the appointment, and explored all the different options we could do for the dress to make is absolutely PERFECT! I went back 4 times to try it on and everyone remembered me, and not once did I feel rushed when examining each dress, or wanting to try on more!! They even worked with us on the price and payment plan of the dress I picked. I went to several other stores and none of them came even close to comparing with my experience at Bridal and Veil. My sister and friends all decided they will be going here when its their turn to get married!!

Me and my best friend, Aradai Bruno came for our appointment at 2:30. Right away we were told to wait, which I understood given it was a bit busy. Then a lady came, didn’t even introduce herself so I can’t give you her name, and asked us what we were looking for. After describing what we were looking for, she gave us 3 dresses to try on (mind you, the dresses were anything but the descriptions we told her we wanted), and showed us the dressing room and had ME put the dress on my friend, and I didn’t even know what I was doing. The person that’s helping you SHOULD be the one helping the bride put on the dress, that’s expected with the service. The lady didn’t even give us a chance to look at dresses and pick out which ones we like, she kept giving us options that we DID NOT like, which was very annoying. I feel like since we were a bit younger, we were NOT taken as serious as other clients which is a shame. The whole experience was very un professional, and not the least personal. After we told her we were leaving, she didn’t even ask if we liked any of the options, didn’t ask why we were leaving so soon. Very TERRIBLE service. 0 out of 5 stars if I could rate it.

Not sure if these 1 stars were at the right place, they sound like competitors. Sal and his team went above and beyond for my wedding which was held in Cape Cod on the other side of the country. The staff was extremely helpful, the selection was massive and the prices were reasonable.I looked at a handful of tux places both here in SD and in the Boston area. In the end it was just one less thing that I had to worry about. I implore you to at least have a conversation with anyone there before choosing who to go with.Thanks Sal, you guys are the best

I had an amazing experience here and loved every second of my appointment!!! I had just come from a terrible appointment at David’s Bridal and was warmly welcomed in by staff and my family was sat down right away in a very elegant and private seating area with an awesome mirror for me to show the dresses off in front of (unlike David’s)! I have a quick description of what I was looking for and was assisted by Cameron (AN AMAZING CONSULTANT BY THE WAY) whom was quickly able to pull at least 10 dress that were under my budget and within it. My sister and I had a blast trying on the dresses and he was amazing at clipping them in all the right places and telling me the great things about each dress. When I finally found the right one he selected a vail and a headband to “jack me up” in and surprise my family when I walked out. It made me wish I had started here and saved my tears for just the happy ones instead of the tears of frustration I had at David’s Bridal previously. I would recommend this shop to anyone!!

Still in the process of looking for my dress, however my #1 in the running is sitting in Bridal and Veil in San Diego! Im from San Diego but I live in Florida right now. During my Christmas vacation I decided to try on dresses at bridal and veil. Sal welcomed me despite my lack of enthusiasm walking in because I was just lookingthey were low on specialists and despite my WALK-IN Sal called Leslie an she came in with a smile on her face, and a willing heart to help me on her DAY OFF! Because I was just coming in to look I didnt plan to try on 700 dresses so i tried on 3 and set an appt for later in the week with Leslie. The experience was GREAT and Leslie was awesome to work with my needs, my moms wants, and my sisters reservations. Thank you bridal and veil. Now, lets try to beat my #1 option... if thats even possible ;-)Update on my review I have chosen my dress and no one could beat the dress I found in Bridal and veil. I tried on dresses in Orlando and Tampa(multiple boutiques) and none could beat my Pronovias gown at bridal and veil. I will be flying into SD at the end of the month for my first fitting!!Update on the update... went in today for my fitting! Service was great as always the seamstress Ana is hilarious! And tells you exactly why and how alterations should be done. Sal was pleasant, welcoming and upbeat as always! Thank you AGAIN B&V see you in November ! 😁

June 1st, 2016. Today I spoke with the owners and managers of Bridal and Veil, after what turned out to be a slight misunderstanding they were very helpful and extremely willing to make things right. Sal and Fazhira made it clear that quality service and the Brides experience are what matter the most to them, I walked out feeling I was treated properly and my girl looking forward to her new dress. My Bride came here because her Sister in Law bought her dress here years ago and we will recommend this business for years to come. Thank you Sal & Fazhira!

I wish my daughter had checked with the Better Business Bureau before she went to this store because they have several complaints against them, and they only have a C+ rating. She went there because they were at The Bridal Bazaar, and she found the perfect dress which she began making payments on. The saleslady gave her a 20% discount which was nice but we found out later that the dress was overpriced compared to the price of the same dress in another bridal store. Last week she received a coupon from them in the mail offering a free bridal veil (up to $200) with the purchase of any dress over $1250. We went to the store expecting to chose a veil, and thats when things got ugly. The girl at the counter checked and said my daughter couldnt use the coupon. We asked why, and the girl went to get the original saleslady. She said no also cuz she had already given my daughter the 20% discount. That didnt make sense, so the manager of the store (who was possibly the owner also) joined the conversation. The bottom line was that the coupon was printed incorrectly and mailed out by mistake to my daughter and other brides. It was supposed to say at the time of purchase and not useable with any other discount but it didnt. He also tried to say since their name wasnt printed on the coupon that they didnt have to accept it. But he did admit it was their coupon and got mailed from their store. We expected them to say sorry and honor it in some way. Instead, they became very rude and humiliating (in front of other customers), and he threatened my daughter by saying he was not gonna order her dress, the dress was gonna be waiting there for her forever (even though it was not yet ordered), she was gonna lose $400, and he was gonna send her to collections. She told him she was gonna contact the BBB, and the man walked away from the counter. We feel that he should have honored the coupon instead of using excuses why he wasnt going to honor it. We were shocked at his behavior, so unprofessional. My daughters maid of honor was with us also, and she said another salesgirl was rolling her eyes at us during the discussion. How these people stay in business is beyond me.

My daughter made an appointment to try on dresses and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Bridal &a Veil. The service was excellent and the dresses were so beautiful. I highly recommend this store for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses.

DO NOT BUY YOUR DRESS FROM THIS STORE! I bought my Morilee wedding gown in early May with my wedding date October 28. My dress came in 6 weeks later than they said it would (end of September, 5 weeks before my wedding), and when I went to try it on, the beading, lace and cut of the skirt were all wrong! The dress looked horrible and needed major alterations to even possibly resemble the dress that I ordered. Thankfully Prevue had the same dress off the rack in my size that I bought that day (would 100% recommend going there!), but when I asked Bridal and Veil for a refund they refused. They admitted that the dress came in with extra beading and white lace (instead of nude) and they claimed they could alter it to be right, and when I explained that my wedding was a month away and I didnt have time to wait and see if they could make it right, they refused to listen. The husband and wife owners were yelling at me in the shop in front of other customers, it was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. The reviews that say these people are thiefs and liars are true.

Good customer service, got my wedding dress and yesterday my bridesmaids dresses.Maybe let bride know alterations are high I paid 600$ plus for alterations which was an unexpected expense.

Loved this place! As a State, National, and international model and Beauty Queen I know quality dresses! My wedding gown came earlier than I expected.If you want custom work, realistically you are looking at 6 to 7 months standard. Then at least 2 months for alternations. This is not a David’s Bridal this is high fashion. (No offense, it’s just not mass produced). If you are an unrealistic problem bridezilla DO NOT go here! The staff is far too kind and accommodating for bridezillas. They deserve the best quality of brides.Nice people who will not treat them like servants! I saw women in the store with fake Louis Vuittons acting like they owned the place. Have the courage to be kind. It is about you. But honey, they will treat you like a queen, regardless if you have no class and do not deserve it. Have common decency!Let me be very clear and honest! I looked at the 1 stars and laughed! I don’t know anyone who can get a custom dress in 5 months haha what an unrealistic expectation! Other people complained about things that were selfish and irrelevant so please read all the 1 star comments for the spoiled nature of the clients. They are childish and ridiculous. Ksenia was amazing...it is like she could read our minds when it came to my daughters gown and bridesmaids options. She even grouped colors of dresses and suits and flowers for us to see how they would all look together. She is a wonder.It really pays to go to a store with personalized service, rather than competing for two sales associates with 100 girls trying to buy prom dresses in front of the mirror...(or unattended mobs of looky-loos out playing say yes to the dress for fun. When did that get to be a thing?)We had a beautiful place to sit and a quiet platform all to ourselves...there were plenty of other customers in the store but we never saw them!My 85 year old mother in law said it all...Now THAT place was really professional and Ksenia really knew what she was doing. Bravo Ksenia and B&V!!

BUYERS BEWARE!! PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING.MY BRIDAL DRESS CAME WEEKS LATE & ENDS UP BEING THE WRONG DRESS!! 2 WEEKS BEFORE WEDDING!!!I purchased my wedding dress on 2/11/17, I had signed up for my appointment online. I paid in full because they said they would give me $100 off. I had confirmed with Cynthia the sales lady and Sal (Owner/manager) when the dress would arrive and they BOTH reassured me that it would be at their store by the end of April or the latest would be the first week of May. I let them know that my wedding day was on July 1st, 2017 and I was worried and that’s why I wanted to verify the date of arrival. Sal reassured me that he has never missed a brides wedding and he has been in business for over 35 years.I called and checked in about scheduling my appointment for alterations on the first week of May and they didn’t even know what I was talking about. My dress had not arrived and they couldn’t tell me what was going on. Sal called me back and told me my dress was coming from overseas and it would arrive in Mid-June??. I was in shock at that point and couldn’t believe this was happening. I checked on weekly basis after my dress didn’t arrive on the first week of May as promised and Sal told me I shouldn’t stress and I won’t look pretty for my wedding and not to worry about it. Finally- 2 weeks before my wedding, I received a call and was told my dress had arrived and my dress fitting was scheduled on 6/17. I arrive and receive the WRONG DRESS!! I purchased a trumpet/mermaid style wedding dress in off white/ivory, but I received a ball gown 2 sizes smaller in white. They blamed the manufacturer and I was told this has happened many times before with this manufacturer. I was told my dress and the dress delivered had the same ID/model number. How is that possible? They are totally different dresses and why the dress 2 sizes is smaller and a different color. Sal would not deal with me and I was told he was “out of town”. He was speaking to the sales girl Reva and using her as a mediator. He was trying to convince me to take the ball gown dress, after refusing they would not confirm a delivery date and wanted me to wait till Monday so they can speak to manufacturer. Reva was helping me and my family during this ordeal and I kept requesting Sal since he is the owner and this was such a horrible ordeal. After not budging he finally showed up after returning from “out of town”. I didn’t want the ball gown (wrong dress 2 sizes smaller!!) and my only option was the floor sample. Reva had told me that they would do free alterations and would fix the beading on the dress.Sal wanted me to pay FULL PRICE for the floor sample because he told me the dress doesn’t depreciate just because its on the floor and people try it on.He was very rude to my family and friends and had no remorse. I was in shock when all of this was happening because the last thing I was worried about was my wedding dress. My family and friends were trying to console me and we were all trying to figure out how we can all salvage the situation. This place was horrible. After going back and forth and having him threaten to give me my money back less than 2 weeks before my wedding and have me purchase a dress else where he finally agreed to give me $200 off but would give me the check when I came to pick up my dress. So I made sure to get it in writing because I didn’t believe a word he was saying. Very unprofessional business owner and just thinking about this ordeal is making me sick all over again but I didn’t want to keep this to myself because thinking about another bride going through what I did would make me feel even worse.Horrible place, please use caution and make sure to get everything in writing if you plan on purchasing a wedding dress because they will not honor their word.
