This review is for the customer service. We havent eaten the food yet but the service was more than expected. Super friendly, answered all our questions, even educated us on how to dry age or own meat. Also gave us a hotdog tip that is finds change our lives. So far Im impressed.

Real deal high-quality meats! They carry prime Brandt Beef, make their own sausages, and have specialty items like fresh duck breast. Not cheap but well worth the price and much. Enter value than steakhouses.Sausages are made fresh weekly - get there soon after 4p on Thursday afternoon as they will be sold out of popular flavors soon.

Even though you can find grass-fed, hormone-free meats at chain grocery stores, the products at Sepulveda Meats are a cut above the rest. Its so good that I often use their steak for tartar, to enjoy the beef just as it is.2) Selection: the wide selection of cuts and products here gives you lots of great options. The sausages are fantastic. In addition to a lot of the popular cuts of beef, they have superb marrow bones and other specialties that you cant get at this quality in chain stores.3) Service & small business: really nice people who take pride in their business and products. Theres something different about getting your meat from here. These people care about their product in a way that you only find in small businesses. Especially with so many small businesses hurting during lockdowns, its more important than ever to support ones like this. Their prices are more than fair for what you get, and when you taste what you bought, youll know it was worth it.Ill be coming here many times, no doubt about it.

Purchased a Tomahawk steak for camping a few weeks ago. Hung it from a tripod over the coals.....no pics to see but OMFG, the most juiciest, tender cut of beef Ive had in a looong time. Going camping again in a few weeks and guess where Im getting meat from?

My wife and I happened upon this establishment when we lived in East Village two years ago. Even though she was vegan at the time, she was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and how clean the facility was. I was delighted over the qaulity & cut of meats. So the fact we moved into the Colombia District doesnt stop us from getting our holiday meats from here.

I purchased a brisket here and they were great. I showed up a few minutes before opening, accidentally. I was let in and they were so helpful and genuinely kind. This butcher shop is so clean and organized. Last, but not least the meat was incredible. Oh and they offer a military discount. Thank you ☺️ We will be back.

Sepulveda is a great local butcher. The store is very tidy and cleanly. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nothing pretentious, no frills.Their meats are super fresh and flavorful. Ive purchased Irish bangers, lamb sausages, top sirloin, and chicken here. Each of these was very high quality and tasty.Cannot recommend this place enough!

We visit the Sepulveda Meats and Provisions at least once per year and the meat market is a must-stop. The variety and quality are tops, and with reasonable prices. They have samples available daily and each year seems to offer something new.

The family over at Sepulveda are the best in the business. Their meats are the highest quality and the cuts are even better. On top of how great the folks over at Sepulveda’s skills are, the shop’s design is so beautiful you would think it was in a Martin Scorsese film.

They had exactly what I wanted. High quality, great service and good prices.This is a family run business with a great product. Both people that i spoke to were extremely nice and helpful.Super High end steak down to your more common cuts of a variety of meats, sausages and a selection of cheeses. I came in on a Tuesday, but it looks like theyre known for their Sausages which hit shelves of Thursdays according to the owner and appear to go fast. Cant wait to try them.Every once in a while you walk into a business and you just feel the love from the owners for their customers and their products....This is one of those places.

Amazing cuts, amazing staff.

Before going inside for the first time, I thought Sepulveda Meats was going to be a nice community meat market. From outside it looked quaint. When I entered, I was surprised. Sepulveda is beautiful, clean, and everyone was very friendly, that includes the people shopping there. Ive now purchased meat there 6 times. Each time I get a variety of meats and sausages. Spectacular!!! Everything is fresh and juicy.Nick makes a fresh selection of sausages every Thursday. Keep up the good work.Addition:I dont know how long Ive been coming here but Im still impressed with Sepulveda. Because of the quality of their products, they make me look good when I have friends over for BBQ.

High quality meats and great staff! All of the house made sausages and marinades are on point - from boudin blanc to Chinese dumpling to carne asada to Korean bbq and many more. Wide diversity of flavors every week. It’s one of the only places I buy meat in San Diego.

We had the summer sausage and cheese platter. It came with crackers and a souvenir knife. It was very good!

Went in today to get some ribs to throw on the grill. They were very friendly. I ended up getting 4 racks of ribs with their secret rub. I was not disappointed. The price was good, the meat was tender and the rub was amazing. Best comment was omfg thats good. Will definitely be going back again! Oh, and they offer military discount.

This family run business has a great selection of meat and super friendly service. They are knowledgable, helpful, and keep the place spotless. As far as I know all of their meat is responsibly raised and ethically sourced. Also, I love their commitment to the South Park/Golden Hill community. Highly recommend!

So happy I found Sepulveda. Their friendly service from the moment you come in. The amazing variety of meats and their marinated chicken is so delicious.I even was able to request a Brazilian famous cut, Picanha. And also great price with Top quality.

Modern life rarely lends itself towards receiving the care youll get here. Yes, the quality of the meat alone is worth the 5 star rating, the prices may be higher than a grocery store but youre paying a family, not a corporation and the meat is worth every penny. Its the service, though, that makes me wish I could add 5 more stars.

They are the best!

We have been coming here since they opened there doors. Sausages are unbelievable, steak quality is through the roof and our favorite of it all... the Carne Asada!!!! Make sure to get it as normally there are only a couple bags in the fridges to the right when you walk in. The coulotte steak I believe is our top choice when they it. It’s the only place that has it around. Prices are nothing to argue about!!! Best butcher in SD!!!!

You cant go wrong here...except of course now you have to spend $70+ whenever you order steak at a restaurant or you will be underwhelmed every time...and sometimes even still!The marinade in the Carne and Pollo Asada as well as the tri-tip are killer as well!

I came here to buy steaks for the boyfriends bday and walked in with an immediate request for t-bone. I should have asked his name, but the butcher working in the evening (1/24) gave me all the info I needed to know within a minute and I walked away with two thick, red, tender t-bone steaks (and an OMG succulent hot link I will buy en masse if possible) that not only indulged my boyfriend and myself, but delighted my dogs in the eating of the bones. Worth. Every. Penny.

Great customer service and great selection of meat!

Today for the first time I visited this local butcher shop. They have great customer service and a decent selection of meats. I bought 1lb of american lamb chops which I marinated with olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper for 30 mins and cooked it for 3 mins each side. My wife is from Iowa and has always appreciated good quality of meat. As I write this comment, she is a happy woman for the dinner that we just had. She mentioned that tonights dinner was restaurant quality but I have to give credit to the quality of the chops and not to my novice cooking skills. Tomorrow Ill try the chuck short ribs Korean BBQ and she is as excited as me to eat them.
