My first time taking my car in for service, had us waiting half an hour just to receive the car and it took all day for an oil change and tire rotation. I informed them I was getting alerts about an air bag problem. They said they checked and nothing was wrong. When I go to pick it up, they say there IS something wrong and to bring it AGAIN on Monday. I bring it in and it’s now Tuesday 1:15pm and they haven’t even checked it yet and don’t know when they will or how long they will have my car. No loner car was offered even though this is our only car, no information on how long I will be without a car. We have never experienced worse customer service. I expected Cadillac to be top notch service and I’m very disappointed.

Took my car in to have upper control arms replaced. Took a while to get parts but while replacing them they damaged the lower control arm on one side. Im grateful they told me and are fixing that for free however its now been 3 weeks that they have had my car and are still waiting for parts. They wont contact me or keep me updated. I call and nobody answers. I had to ask for a loaner car, as one wasnt offered when they messed up. They also know Im moving in a week and need my car but wont call me back. Dont take your car here. Jared is the person that is supposed to be working with me.

I shouldnt even give them a 1. Never Ever rent from this Hertz at Marvin K. Brown or Hertz period! Had a reservation from 3/25-4/1 for $344 with my discount code. They didnt honour. So then I called corporate. Customer care in El Salvador was no help. NEVER EVER USE HERTZ OR MARVIN K. BROWN. BEWARE OF LYNN TOO! IM FILING IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT FOR THE LITTLE GUY!

This place literally has the best variety of Cadillacs and the prices are really low, almost unbeatable compared to the other places around San Diego I have been to. Unfortunately, due to their customer service I chose to go to another dealership and pay more money for the same vehicle that I was going to purchase at their lot. Low Prices are great but money isn’t everything. Humility goes a long way. My Sales Consultant was Mark Swatman, he was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, very aggressive to make the sale but once it seemed like I started asking too many questions he would give bad attitude and inaccurate answers. Almost lying to me or withholding the truth, it felt sketchy. I hope this comment helps him and your business because he seemed like a hard worker. Lastly, for future customers, if low prices are what you’re looking for then this is the place you should be! I wish I could give 5 stars on just the prices.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Marvin K. Brown Cadillac. We live in Bakersfield, and had visited our local dealership 4 times....dealt with the same salesperson each time....she could never answer our questions and just generally acted uninterested in helping us. Since we couldnt get her to help us find exactly what we wanted, a Cadillac XT6, garnet metallic with light interior, we searched on our own and found the very vehicle we wanted at MKB Cadillac in San Diego. I called and spoke with Oscar in service, told him what I wanted and he had salesman Kirk call me back. Kirk answered all my questions, and allowed me to put a deposit down on the vehicle so no one would buy it before we were able to visit 2 days later. As it turned out, Kirk wasnt going to be able to be there when we visited, but turned us over to salesman, Josh. Every person we dealt with was kind, patient and extremely helpful. We are so grateful for everyone at MKB, especially Josh, Kirk and Oscar!!!! I hope they all get raises for their amazing customer service!

Work to be done on your car is good. But the customer service in the service dept is awful. The service personnel that you talk to do not approach you while you are looking for assistance till you go to the glass offices and request service. The customer service it self come off very cocky and rude. They did not make the customer feel good about the quality of work. They claimed to be too busy. They did not read the work order as requested services and or update us on my warranty for service. It took a five minute phone call myself about my vehicle for my warranty info that my service representative could have got and saved my time on his job. They missed A/C and condenser were bad had I not given my warranty information it would have cost over 3k to fix. Had I not given my warranty information. He did not try and help me till I helped him with his research on my warranty.
The worst Dealer ever we order a car it took three months to get here after they call as they say your vehicle is here we went to do the paperwork they raise the price by seven more hundred dollar and then we will working at the lawn because he didn’t want to take their own bank because they were charging 4.4 interest we were planning for the front lawn and they say you have two hours if you don’t come pick up your car we can sell it to someone else the worst dealership I don’t recommend nobody to go there

Just about to finish the lease on my Continental, went check some Cadillacs to keep it American. Nobody helped me, no customer parking, no inventory to see, very disappointing. This Cadillac dealer is literally throwing me into the arms of the competition especially imports. Unfortunately, unbelievable, I want to consume American and they are not ready at least this ridiculous Cadillac dealership. You should close your doors. If you ever read this review, just give me a good reason why I should reconsider buying a brand new Cadillac from you.
I wish I would have remembered how bad the customer service is here I would have not purchased my second Cadillac here. I pretty much did all the work researched online found my car sold my other car all they had to do was deliver it. Which they did of course they were interested in making a sale now that all has been signed no one is interested in making sure my issue is resolved. 👎
So I purchased my cadi recently from a third party. It was time for an oil change and inspection. The nearest dealer service center was Marvin K Brown. I made the appointment using their online scheduler. It only took me a few minutes. You can select the consultant you want to work with during the process. After a little quick research, I selected Antonio. His name was showing frequently in positive reviews. I recieved and email confirmation and text message. I believe 72 hours and 24 hours prior to the scheduled appt., I recieved reminders via emails and text message as well. Upon arrival, I was politely greeted immediately and informed that Antonio was not in at that time, however Corky Weeks would be happy to assist me. Corky confirmed the services I had selected online with me. I explained to him that I had purchased the vehicle from a third party. He said they would perform a full inspection and check for recalls that might be due. I realize this is probably protocol but even though they were really busy, I never felt like they were just trying to cycle me out as quickly as possible. He asked me a few more questions, I signed the work orders, then they got me a complimentary Uber home. About 3 hours later I received an automated text that my car was ready and I could pay by simply clicking the provided link in the message body. I tenderd payment which was less than expected to my surprise, less than going to some of the popular oil change vendors everyone knows about... All considering synthetic oil, filter replacement, etc. I was back on the road shortly after noon. The entire experience was efficient; service was great at Marvin K Brown. I plan to return for my vehicle maintenance needs going forward.
2 hour wait NO WIFI!!!!! Not good and no one to help. The staff has wifi so they can work. But no concern for customer. Supposed to be working but cant and I call to confirm they had wifi. 😡
Excellent customer service. The best. They price matched my tires, ordered them promptly, made sure I was completely taken care of. When I had an issue with my Cue system - no problem, they got it replaced. They really exemplify grade A customer service. They are fast, thorough, mindful and nice!!
I brought my car to Marvin K Brown to have my back brakes done. My car was returned making an extremely loud screeching noise when I hit my brakes. It was very embarrassing. The noise was so loud the car next to me rolled up their windows. I was asked to bring my car back that Saturday. After waiting over 30 minutes they told me the technician that worked on my car was not there so my car could not be looked at. Two hours of my Saturday morning wasted. They told me to bring my car back the following week. I said absolutely not. I had them pick up my car at work and they left me a car. They were supposed to return my car before I got off work which they did not. They had my garage opener and the key to my closet room so I could not get clothes out for work the next day nor open my garage when i got home or close my garage when I left for work. My car was returned to me next day telling me the problem was fixed and they test drove it. Well, my brakes are still screeching. I emailed the service manager Greg White and no response. Left a voice mail with I guess another service manager Larry Ramos because he has a different name than yesterday. Waiting for a response. Left a voicemail with the service clerk who assisted me in the beginning. Waiting for a call back. I feel like its like pulling teeth to get good service from Marvin K Brown and I am very disappointed and angry at this point. I like to have my car serviced from the dealer ship. So what do I do now if I need maintenance done. I just want my brakes fixed and this nightmare to be over.
Let me start by saying that the customer service here is fantastic. From you pulling to the service line to getting your vehicle processed is a relatively smooth process. However, that is not why I give this place 2 stars. There wait time here is ridiculous! For a tire alignment, I had to wait almost 2hrs for what typically takes 15mins. I got my tires rotated here, however they didnt align them which resulted in me coming back. I talked to a random rep to get a status of my car (which I should have done earlier) and my vehicle was finish a while ago. Not sure whom failed in the process but I recommend as a customer being proactive with your rep to ensure your not wasting unnecessary time sitting in the lobby. Especially if you feel that the service to your vehicle is taking longer than what you would expect. On a good note, the food they serve at that miniature deli is great. Had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a bagel.

I made an appoint to see about a Mazda 3 they had on sale. The day I went to see about this car they already sold the car before I saw the car. The most annoying part is that they call me the day before to see about this car, and not give me a warning that they sold the Mazda already. I live in TJ, that day it took me 3 hours getting there. After they checked my information. They apparently did not like whatever they saw to the point the car salesman attitude change dramatically, and even made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I decided to leave and go to another dealership. I will never come here even if they offer me a huge deal on a new car.
When I arrived for my scheduled appointment the service advisor wasnt available and I had to wait a bit for someone to process my car. The assistant service manager Anthony stepped up and took care of me. Thanks Anthony!
Larry Ramos did an excellent job in quickly getting the required part and booked in next morning for an expedited replacement of our CUE system. One of the best service calls I have ever had in Canada or USA. Well done!!
Took my 2017 Cadillac in in for oil change, small fluid lead from front of care and squeaking drivers seat. Arrived about 10AM and car was promised at 6PM. Called at 3PM car not ready. Called at 4:30PM car not ready, transferred service adviser voice mail and requested status. No reply received. Next day about 8:30AM called service advisor and got voice mail, asked him to call me with status, no return call, About 10AM called service manager and left message on voice mail of experience and asked for a status on my car, no return call. About 12:30PM service adviser called and said oil had been changed and the leak was from the old oil filter which was corrected by installing a new oil filter and they were not going to check out the seat noise. Called at 3PM and told car ready. When I picked up my car it was noted that no noise could be found in the seat. Completely unsatisfactory service, a day and a half to change oil!!l and lack of answering my calls or letting me know the status of my car.
Cause I couldnt put no stars. Took my vehicle into service they had it for over five hours and did absolutely
Today I show up for my service appointment and they could not find me even after I showed all 3 emails showing I have an appointment. Then I meet the most rude and obnoxious service guy in which he insinuates I can not cover the cost of repairs that will not be covered under warranty. I go to clear the air to make sure I understood what was happening. I did and Roberts response was nonsense. Once I pointed the miscommunication he made no effort to bridge the gap. I thought this was a good place of business as I referred my client to this dealer and they made the purchase the same day. I will be sure to inform him of this as well.
I’ve been going to Marvin K Brown for many years. I experienced excellent service and poor service over the years. After my last service appointment and service I will never be going back again. I rather drive the few extra miles and take my car to north county. Walking away feeling as your service department tried to rip off is not a good feeling. Thanks MKB
I have called this dealership 5 times, left 3 voicemails and 2 messages with the front desk and have still not heard back from this dealership. I had a FORD before I had a Cadillac, and that dealership had amazing customer service. I can’t believe this is how a Cadillac dealership does business.After reading other reviews, I’m not sure I want them working on my car anyway. What a disappointment.

Everything that I went for, got completed and in a reasonable time. My only complaint is the shuttle they provide to drop off and pick up. Both times Ive used it, theres been over an hour wait to get a ride. Also, the driver took me to a different address and didnt realize it until I mentioned it. He was a new driver, so I gave him some slack.

This is one of the worst Dealers in California, made a appointment i told them i had a small oil leak, they said i could wait while they checked it out, the service advisor Jay went under and said there was no leak then said it would be 8 hours till they get to it. Not what i expected from a Cadillac dealer. There sighn says 100 percent satisfaction. There a joke. The manager got back to me and was no help stay away from this dealer.

Marvin K. Brown service redeemed themselves with me. My first experience with them about a year ago was terrible with my service adviser at the time (Robert) not calling me back despite having my car for at least a week. This time I worked with Kevin Knepper and he was amazing. He kept me apprised of what was going on with my car and when the repaired issue became an issue again a day later he immediately took care of it.
GM sent out a Roadside Assistance vehicle from MKB. Nick found me easily and replaced our battery quickly and without issues. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable and efficient, and I sure appreciated the service. He was in an easily identifiable MKB Escalade, which was equipped for anything someone in distress may need. Had never needed rescue like that, so it was a pleasant surprise, after the initial dread, to have the whole process go so smoothly. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of working with JT Williams in the service department on a few issues I had with my 2015 Cadillac Escalade. Its rare that you find a Car Dealership or Service Advisor that works so hard for their customers. Initially I came in with an issue on my Cadillac Cue system and my air conditioner. I am 5,000 over my factory warranty so I fully expected to pay big bucks for my repairs. I ended up needing a new Cue system and Air Conditioner Condenser. Neither of these are cheap fixes. Four days later I picked up my car and the total bill was $175. JT had worked with the manufacturer to get my repairs covered. I know thats probably not common but I value doing business with service people that look out for me. JT is now my go to guy for any repairs on my Cadillac. Sometimes you think you will save money going to places other than the dealer but many times you dont. I also have to give a shout out to the Service Manager Larry. Larry is a class act, very knowledgeable and helpful. I feel like I am in great hands at Marvin K Brown.

They had my truck 6 days in the dealer, and they said that the battery was not working properly. They made me buy a new battery and my truck is still not working properly. In other words, the only thing they did right was changing the truck’s oil.... But 6 day for oil change???
