Do not go here! I brought my Pixel phone here to fix a cracked screen and they broke one of my phone speakers while fixing it. When I called back a couple days later the employee refused to fix it EVEN THOUGH THEY BROKE IT AND REPAIRS HAVE A 90 DAY WARRANTY!! He was rude and hung up on me. I contacted the companys customer service and they told me to submit my feedback on the website, which I did. No follow up was made after that. This was all after having to go to the store twice because they were too busy that day to fix my phone that day.

Samsung directed me to take my S10 to them to diagnose, so I did. My phone shorted out 2 weeks after the warranty expired and I was delighted when they told me I could apply for a 1 time warranty extension that would likely cover it from Samsung. That turned out to be a nightmare, but thats going to be on a Samsung review. When I went to pick up my phone, I was handed a phone with shattered glass. The person apologized and said that the machine Samung provided them to open to phone did that. I asked for written acknowledgmentg that they broke the phone and they refused. They said it was in Samsungs logs. Why wouldnt they have replaced the glass that they broke? Samsung was shocked and had no records of this so I had to wait on hold while they called Ubreakifix to confirm this. Ultimately, I took my phone back to them and told them to replace the glass they broke or I would do whatever it takes to hold them accountable. They agreed, when I picked up my phone 2 days later, not only was the glass fixed, but my phone was fixed, and prior to that, Samsung had refused to fix it. I suspect that they ate the price of that hoping I wouldnt write this review, but that was too late. They broke my glass and didnt fix it, refused to acknowledge it in writing, and lied about Samsung having a record of it so I had so sit on the phone for another hour working it out. Really poor business practice and they were doing so well to start. Im attaching pics of the broken glass. UBreakiFix aka WeBreakNobodyFix unless you threaten to report them to the BBB.

These guys are SOOOOO GOOD! Several years ago, my very old iPod died and I thought Id have to buy a new one, but I checked with uBreakiFix first and they fixed it!!!! They were quick, efficient, reassuring, and personable -- and I was grateful and amazed. The best part was that the repair was free! It was a quick reboot that I didnt know how to do and they did it! Im sure the Apple Store would have told me my old iPod was dead and gone and needed to be replaced. . .These guys told me the truth and fixed it. Last week, I took my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 phone in for an upgrade because the battery needed recharging every two hours, phone calls were being dropped, and all apps were running slowly (or refusing to run at all). uBreakiFix recommended a new battery and getting the charging port cleaned. Now my phone is running like new! It took a week to get the new battery and about two hours to install it, but it saved me from taking it to Verizon and having them say oh dear, were sorry but your phone is dead. You really need a brand new one. Lets see how much we can charge you. I totally love uBreakiFix!!! You guys ROCK!!

TL;DR: Terrible customer service, 20 day wait (after a promised 4 day wait), damaged new phone and forgetful staff.The best thing I can say about this location is that most of the employees are nice. That being said, my entire experience here was a nightmare. My power button had broken on my phone then ran out of battery so I couldnt turn it back on. I called this business and they were very friendly and made it sound like fixing my phone would be fast and easy, all that was needed was a new phone that would be shipped in a couple days and as soon as they received the new phone they would fix it same day (this is what I was told). I brought my phone in on February 27th, my phone wasnt fixed until March 18th. I gave them a number to contact me by for updates on the phone arrival and other updates but I only ever received one phone call from them which was about something their technician wrote down wrong. Me and my partner spent nearly 20 days calling this business to ask about any updates and often got the response of one to two days and confusing excuses that the new phone wasnt there even though previous reports stated otherwise. Finally on the 18th when I called in for an update, I was told it would be done in 2 hours and that they would call me or I could just come in. When I showed up 3 hours later, we were told that it wasnt finished still but it would be done it 10 minutes. We were left waiting for 30 minutes. I was ready to just forgive and forget this horrible 20 day experience but then they handed me a phone in lesser quality than the phone I turned in. The inside on the screen had some foil scratched away so I could actually see some of the inner mechanisms in the phone. A big difference from the nearly brand new looking phone I brought in. Frustrated, I just paid and wanted to go home but had to ask for my original phone case, which they forgot to give back. After the 20 minute drive home, I went to go set up my new phone only to find that they had forgotten to give me my Sim card and memory card back. I had to drive back to pick it up, and the employee admitted they saw that they forgot to give it back a few minutes after we left, which made us wonder why they didnt bother to call us and inform us about it. On top of it all, not only does it seem like there was some data that wasnt recovered (even though they said they recovered everything), the fingerprint scanner stopped working 2 days later and now the function apparently doesnt exist in the system anymore. This was a nightmare experience so I warn you to stay away if you need anything other than a screen fix.

Called for a quote, the guy had no customer service skills at all. He was acting annoyed that I was asking basic questions. I dont know much about computers, he wasnt able to communicate well by simplifying things and he had a bad attitude. Finally gave me a quote and it was honestly lower than others, but wont be going with them because of their lack of customer service.

The guy I worked with was awesome!! My charging port on Galaxy S20 Ultra was saying that it was wet and wouldnt let me plug in to charge. The first port he put in didnt work, turned out was defective.....but he kept trying and got a new port installed that worked. All work was done under warranty. Very nice guy, great to deal with, great customer service!! Will definitely recommend to friends!!

I took samsung galaxy on international warranty to repair, they refused me to fix it.it was San Diego branch.

This is my second time coming here, first time i went the time flew within an hour they had my device ready, this second time i went took longer than the time they had told me and almost didnt give me back my phone shield, i wish i knew i would be taking it off like the first time they told because it was a screen issue. versus this time it was the back of the phone and they didnt tell me the sheild would fall off.

Google directed me to uBreakiFix for warranty repair work on my POS Google Pixel 4. After driving all the way out there from La Mesa (Santee was closed), the guy told me that he refused to work on Pixel phones. WTH? So I called the Santee store the next day, and they told me they could work on it.

I broke my Galaxy S9÷ screen at the gym on Sunday morning and had my phone fixed by 3pm that same day. Three-hour turnaround time with outstanding and courteous customer service. Phone is like new. I hope I dont have to go back but I would not hesitate to do so should my screen break again. The most important part (the quality of the repair) is five stars, but customer service could be moved up a notch. They told me they would call me when the repair was done and they didnt. I finally called them and was told yeah, its done but I didnt have time by then to get in before they closed. Also, as a company in the high tech field one would expect them to take Google Pay as payment (they dont). These are minor complaints though as the repair was done right and my phone looks brand new again.

Avoid. Brought in a working phone with a broken screen and back.Left with a bricked phone.Claimed water damage, im not so sure. As stated working phone, no crashes, slowness etc originally. Completely usable besides a cracked screen. Looking at the board, i see no corrosion, but Im not dissembling further so I can file my google claim still.Now my only option is to buy a full priced phone before my flight tomorrow. Not thrilled.I would be inclined to believe them a bit more if the other people in the shop had better luck with them. 1 woman had her laptop charger lost, and data missing from a repair, with the technician unable to be reached.

Better than BestBuy! Brought HP 2 laptops in for repair after a disappointing evaluation by BestBuy and surprise, both were fixed in record time by this shop. The first repair was a hard drive swap... no problem - done the same day, and the second had a power supply issue which they fixed for no charge. I totally recommend this shop for hardware repair!

My second time visiting uBreakiFix, this time I came to fix my iPhone 7 Plus screen. I decided to go with the aftermarket screen replacement. My total came up to $102. Price is not bad, going elsewhere would have been a lot more. They told me to pick the phone back up in 45 minutes. I came back almost 2 hours later, and he said it was not done yet. I left and sat in my car (luckily we found a parking spot) for another 30 minutes before picking my phone back up. Regardless, the service done was top-notch and well worth $100.

I brought in a Sony Z3 Tablet Compact I fly with as a Navy Pilot because the screen started to split off the device on one of the long edges. This waterproof tablet is an extremely rare discontinued item from 2016 that easily sells today for $700 used and still outperforms the best tablets made today from Samsung. I explained that all I was looking for was to have this long edge glued back in place because the gap was several millimeters. They explained to me the risks of using high strength glue and the touchscreen may lose sensitivity on that edge. I told them that I trusted they had the expertise to do a good job and they accepted my verbal waiver. Next day I picked up the device expecting to pay the extremely reasonable price of $20 we agreed on. They told me that the job was very easy for them and that charging me for the work was not necessary. I cant express enough how fantastic their customer service is. By far the best phone/tablet repair shop in San Diego. Trust that they will take care of your expensive electronic devices

Had a broken screen on my iphone but unfortunately my data wasnt backed up. luckily uBreakiFix was able to put a loaner screen on my phone & backup my data to my iCloud account (something Apple would not do). they were quick, friendly, professional, & reasonably priced. they do all sorts of repairs too - not just iphones. ill definitely be coming back with future electronic needs !!

I really appreciate the information, convenience and expediency with which they fixed my phone. I brought my phone in with a dead LCD screen and they had it fixed for me in 3 hours. While it was expensive, $300 total, my phone is like new and with a brand new battery. Cheaper than a new phone. The online appointment didnt seem to be necessary as there was no one there waiting and I was told I could have come in the day before instead of waiting until my appointment day.

I would give zero star, They made pitiful excuses why they didnt call us before closing time after clearly stating the importance being fixed sameday, and clearly forgot to call us. They can fix your phone but pour customer service.

I had to come back a couple of times due to circumstances that were out of their control and they still gave me a discount and an immaculate finished product. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. A business of extraordinary service and integrity.

Dont go for laptop repairs. They are so inadequate, dont call you (I constantly had to call them for information), untimely, and their set up couldnt even handle a data transfer. I like this chain, but I would only go in for phone repairs now. Its not worth the headache for your laptop.

My auntie Roslyn came in a couple days ago because her phone had gotten juice spilt on it. She had put it in some rice and a grain got stuck in the charger port :( Alex was so kind to her and offered her a s ewww eat and asked politely if he could take her phone to the back. He discovered the grain of rice, removed it in less than two minutes AND even did it free of charge ! This is compassion and community in one package. Being a senior citizen she’d probably never get it out. Thank you guys so much.

Corey and Joel fixes my husband’s phone again. They replaced the LED light and since they had change the color they took $10 off, And found a recycled protective case that fit his old phone. All for a very reasonable cost. They were super fast and efficient and friendly and smart. I would give them five stars out of five stars at the point Loma San Diego location.
