Nice store, clerk was helpful. I purchased an empty 15 eyeshadow palette get home & the dividers was not included, which they typically are.I got home, called to be informed that it is not longer included, must be purchased separately. Hmm, interesting as online it is included. Will be returning.

I am a big fan of MAC Cosmetics even though I dont wear much makeup. Their cosmetics have such rich pigment that any skin tone can wear them which is fantastic. I love their eyeliners, lip liners, lipsticks, and lip gloss. Their cosmetics say hypoallergenic and truly are. They do not use soy or lead either.In San Diego the Fashion Valley store is my fave. It can get quite crowded on the weekends so be prepared to wait but can use that time to walk around and try on all of the new products.The makeup artists are so fun to watch and helpful to pick for good colour options or product types. They alway have the best makeup jobs on their own faces. I love it! Im dying to take their makeup class and have been wanting to for or years but never get around to it.Last year for a friends wedding we worked with two artists who were dynamos and helped us with pairing makeup for our day to night looks and suggestions for the outside makeup artist we hired. I wish i could remember their names because I would recommend them to every customer that enters the store.

Be prepared to WAIT for a while to get into the store! They have strict guidelines and VERY limited room. No more than 5 people TOTAL in the store, and that includes employees! I only waited because they have a great sale going on.

Excellent limo service for our wedding. The pricing was very reasonable and the limo was very clean and fully stocked with all you can ask for. Our driver was so professional and was on top of making sure we were taken care of. Very nice and easy to talk to. We will be using them again for sure! Highly recommended.

I went to the store. Girls were sort of cheerful. After finding the product I needed was discontinued and they would not exchange product becuz I had wrong receipt (never had tat issue) I bought a few things. Left n realized I forgot something so went back. Purchased and said add to my bag. When I got home I set bag on counter then this morning went to bag and my second purchase was not there. I live 30 plus miles and the downtown store closed down. This is not acceptable. I will order all product online now.

Great product. I swear by it. Use it daily for personal and for professional use. Just that the embassadors representing the WONDERFUL, amazing, beautiful, product I love so much...yeah well their attitude is so far gone wrong and stuck up, that it has made me start shopping from the MAC website, rather then driving 40 mins. just to this nearest to me MAC location to pick up this amazing products, all to be treated like Im a bother or inconvinc to their oh so precious life dressed in all black and wearing MAC.

When I walked up to counter 3 employees were in a group just chatting. I had a hard time finding product and when someone said hello to me it was very curt. I I stood testing colors for a while and they continued to talk to each other. It would have been obvious to most employees that the customer needed assistance. When I finally selected a brow pencil she said we didnt have my color and as I was about to leave the other girl said yes we do. I asked her if it was the $18 dollar pencil and she did not know. Rang it up it wasnt, okay fine. So I asked which one was she showed me I went back over to display to make sure I liked the other pencil. Again walked over to all the colors while she continued to chat with her friends and flip through the schedule. Got a little irritated and asked if she could help me. She replied I already have it in my hand. Why didnt she say that while I was obviously struggling to find the shade? Why did she just assume I already knew she had it in her hand? We ring the item up. Again, wrong price. At this point Im done with the situation so I just purchase the item and leave. I will not be back to this location. Not only was she rude she was too preoccupied with gossiping, and had no idea about the products! This was on Sunday July 1st at approximately 630pm

The Fasion Valley Mac store is a candy store that makes Nordstroms Mac counter look and feel like a mall kiosk. The customer service and product availability are at the actual Mac store, not at Nordstrom. Please see the following and save yourself the grief..:Fashion Valley Nordstroms Mac counter sold me a broken and used studio fix foundation and a swatched eyeshadow. I returned them to replace them and they did not have anymore of my nw10(basically the lightest Mac color), just the darker tones that were more suitable for people of color. They were out of my white skin color, there was no tester available of my white skin color. All of the counter staff were people of color and they literally had zero stock to replace my white skin color nw10. They were appropriate until I asked them to look for both a tester and the foundation in the nw10. It wasnt until I asked for that that things went south for me there. Anti-white sentiment at Nordstrom? It was thick!! I cant say for sure but I have a whitness and zero motivation to pitch a story of racism here. Nordstrom lost a customer yesterday. No skin off of my back. I only went there for Mac anyway. I spoke to Mac online. They were apologetic and responsive. I was given additional corporate contact info, I will be following up there as well. Either that my hunch is right about the racism and that was deliberate, or Nordstroms quality and customer service have BOTH gone massively downhill, the latter is likely far less probable.So, I went to the actual Mac store here in Fashion Valley where I was treated the way people who respect the brand they are representing would treat a customer. I was greeted and helped right away and ended up receiving the most of my help from someone named Gabby or Gabriella. She and the rest of the Fashion Valley Mac store, combined with the help I received at maccosmetics(dot)com, my experience went from very negative to one that has left me looking forward to my next trip to Mac.Of note, the actual Mac store is a candy store that makes Nordstroms Mac counter look and feel like a mall kiosk. Recently I got pulled in to one of their events where they were doing makeup makeovers for free, one area. And of course I got suckered into buying way more make up that needed. However I do love MAC products. No regrets, plus they do such a good job with their makeup!

Went in to get my Metalliac Purple matte lippie..... I get SO many complments... My mini me had a make over and her birthmark covered..... Honestly would give them a lower rating if i could. The staff was rude, they never even as much a greeted me.It wasnt busy at all, they just didnt want to help me even tho i followed one of them around waiting to be done with another customer and as soon as she finished she turned around & went to the back. I just left what i wanted to buy there & exited the store. Never again.

What a shame MAC. Hundreds of women came to the store to get their free lipstick on the national lipstick day that you were promoting, and didnt get anything! And we even came in the morning! What a terrible customer service and lack of clients loyalty. You guys should promote the same hard that you had only a few for those crazy who waited in line from 6am.So we wouldnt waist our timing driving to the store.Terrible .Shame on you MAC
