Great experience getting tune ups, adjustments and tire changes on two bikes with disc brakes!

Extremely knowledgeable staff and very cheap for what you get here. I do all my snow services here and Tye, who does the servicing, is unbeatable in quality waxing and performance tuning. You can even get same day services for an express fee which has come in handy so many times! Have bought all my gear here and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Great for all levels of sports and have never been disappointed with what I get. Will be a lifetime customer for sure. Thank you everyone!

Great selection of products. I wish they had Innova Frisbees though. They filled up my soccer ball for me. Theres some random gym equipment for sale there too.

They had a big variety of sports equipment like ice skates, roller skates, golf stuff, weights, football, baseball, hockey, camping, etc. They also buy used equipment.

I was going here to get a driver for the driving range. They have a great selection of products. The guy who helped us was very friendly. I highly recommend this place if you are trying to find used sports equipment that won’t put a dent in your wallet. 💯💯P.S. Some of their products are expensive but not as much if you would buy something brand new.

Great selection of new and used sports good. I picked up a retrospect bike here and I love it. Sidenote, if youre into hockey this is like the friggin place for all that.

Came in on a Saturday to buy some used skis. Patrick and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Will come back for future used equipment purchases.

I thought the manager was extremely disrespectful. I dropped my boots off to be repaired. 3 months later, my boots still had not been repaired and the staff seemed confused about which boots were mine. The manager gave me the not my problem attitude--seemed incapable of communicating with his employees and/or taking responsibility for his team.

The best sporting goods store around with great new and used selection. Ive purchased a used mountain bike for my wife and a ton of ice and roller hockey gear for me and my kids. The thing you wont get from buying your gear online is the expert and friendly advice from the staff, even better is that their pricing is super competitive with online outlets! The owners practice what they preach and are out there everyday doing the sports they love and using the gear they sell. I recommend this place 100%.

WAS TREATED DISRESPECTFULLY!I sent my son in there to get my basketball pumped, they told me to purchase a pump or get out then I went inside and three men behind the register tried to kicked me out after purchasing the pump and returning it without use, this happened on 3/15/20 around 3pm.Went to big 5 after and got it pumped for free. I wouldnt have been upset if they charged me for air but I was kicked out.

Every time I go into this store they are always nice and accommodating. If you have any questions theyre all very helpful and if they cant help they find somebody who can.I went in there looking to purchase tennis balls, and ended up finding a very nice cheap bike. With the help of a bike specialist there he recognized that there was an issue with one of the front derailleur and offered to replace the expensive part for free.After a few 100 miles on the new bike and a failed attempt at adjusting my gears I brought it in and one of the managers there did a complete gear adjustment free of charge.I dont leave reviews often but this particular play it again sports deserved 5 stars and more. Everybody was cool and friendly. I highly recommend this place versus ANY sports shops

I came in to the store on a recommendation and couldnt be happier! Ty listened to some issues i was having with some hockey skates I had bought online and pin pointed a couple of things, a quick bake and a sharpening. Had a skating lesson right after we were done and the difference was like night and day! Super friendly and very knowledgeable. The guys at play it again have got a new customer and I will be passing on the recommendation.

Been coming here for years. It has always been my first stop, when starting a new sport/hobby.Staff has always been helpful and answered questions when needed. Some items are a bit over priced (compared to online), but they have overhead costs...so no complaints. Most of the time I walk out stoked on good finds and decent deals.

Located right off the freeway. Plenty of parking! They’re very friendly and knowledge here. I’ve purchased Schwinn Rower it’s half the price of the ones that you would see at a CrossFit gym. I still have it and it works great I really recommend it. Sooooo much stuff here you will find what you need!

Our family went to look for a soccer ball, basketball, and possibly a small trampoline. The balls that they had were very old and deflated, as well as overpriced, so we moved on to the trampolines. There were two unmarked and ceiling-mounted so we asked for assistance and we spent several minutes trying to ascertain the price. Ultimately it was not possible, although we talked to all three people working in the store. One person wasnt completely nasty, but the other two were rude to the point of unkind and never produced a price for us. There was also disagreement among the ranks as to whether the trampolines were new or not. One looked rusted and was missing one of its feet, but the person behind the counter insisted they were both new and they only looked that way because they had been left on the floor for a while and too many people had jumped on them and they had then zip tied them to the ceiling. Sounds like used equipment to me, but they insisted they were new and were going to cost me more than a new one on Amazon. It was a terrible experience. I wish I could give it a half a star. Went in to buy my first set of hockey gear. Chris (with the glorious beard) personally walked around the store with me and helped me find exactly what I needed to start playing. Walked in confused on what hockey skates I needed to get and they both helped me lead me in a direction on what to get. Sucks that they didn’t have the skates in the store when I went but hopefully if they restock I can give them my business. Worth the 35 minute drive to get down there and get hockey gear for me 🏒🤙🏽

This is the only way to shop for New and Used sporting goods if they dont have it they can order and they have the best priced deals in town and the rewards program is the bomb Ive bought 4 or 5 bikes for my family and you can also trade in and trade up I love it.... I love this place. I visit at least once per week and always find something that my athletic daughters or my son needs at super reasonable prices. Tye is the owner and always helpful and all the emplyees are great guys and never pushy.

This is a great place. Their prices are hit-and-miss but the guys that work there are very knowledgeable and will help you especially if you reduce your ego and just tell him what you need.

I needed to get a birthday present and found some slightly used sports equipment at a reasonable price. Wasnt sure if the individual would continue in the sport so this was a great way to test the interest before spending a large amount of money on really good sports equipment

I am brand new to hockey, never bought skates, a stick, or any gear. They were not just helpful, they went out of their way to teach me and help me in my pursuit of gear. They helped me to find a stick more appropriate price-wise for a man of my size, added the extension, even offered to tape it up for me. After my first visit (in which I bought the proper skates due to great help from the salespersons), I learned I had not received credit towards the play it again frequent buyer card. They gave me a stamp because they remembered me (pays to be friendly) and also sharpened my skates for free because I bought them as the store was closing and asked if I could bring them back in next week. The employees here are very good, close-knit, and helpful. I drive out of my way to shop here and I look forward to coming back soon. One question though, did you guys move? I have been out of the country for almost a year and when I returned I thought you guys closed and was happy to see that you seem to be in a new spot. I will head back there soon to check!

Brings the concept of bad service to the next level!Came to sell two bikes I had bought at that same place 12 months ago. Boss comes with me outside tells me OK Ill give you 35$ cash for both (not great, but not bad!). I go in, the guy at the counter gives me a store credit for 30$. I tell him, your boss said 35$ cash, he tells me Boss gone dont believe you - after arguing a bit he simply says You know what, I finally dont want to buy your bikes, good bye!!Some people in there need some serious training on clientele relationships...

Awesome! Went looking for baseball equipment for Little League and the Mira Mesa store had it all. While I was there I traded in some wet suits my kids had outgrown and received a very fair trade-in price. Will be checking here before I head to any big box sports store in the future.

People working there need to get a personality. Brought in some brand new elbow pads and knee pads for skating and the says Ill give you 5 bucks. Im like no I dont think so. Very condescending and rude. I will NEVER visit this store again, that that was my first experience with them. I live down the street.

I had to come in and outfit my 6 year old for his first year of roller hockey. We had lots of questions and needed lots of help.Daniel spent a lot of time with us to make sure we got what we needed and understood everything.- He completely took our direction to keep the bill as low as possible and get the gear we needed.- He fitted my son for skates and even gave him his first lesson on how to stay on his feet.- He sized him for all of the other gear, tried it all on together, and made sure it fit my son well. And this is a lot of stuff.- He helped us figure out if my son was really a lefty/righty.- He sized the sticks, cut them down, and taped them up.- He was very patient in dealing with us while we tried to pick gear while wrangling our kids. We had 4 kids there, 6, 4, 2, and 1. It could get kind of crazy at times and Daniel was always cool.- The store had a really nice selection of gear, too. There were only 3 pieces of gear they didnt have in used, and only one of those pieces wasnt there in new, either. This is because those pieces are the absolute smallest they make and they just dont get that many. I thought this was fair. But they did offer to order them for me and get them in quickly.Overall, I thought that the staff (Daniel) was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the store had a nice selection.

Play it again sports is a great place for those that may be looking to explore a new sport or buy their first set of equipment for something they know they enjoy. Most people dont think about looking at used sports equipment, but they really should.

These guys always have the best customer service. Buying equipment from them for years and just did custom hockey jerseys that turned out great and were done in a week!!

I got my skates fixed here once but when I went to buy hockey pucks the barcode label was stuck. Then the label wouldnt peel off and part of it is stuck to the puck.

Still a great place to pick up odds and ends, though a bit pricey for used and oftentimes rusted equipment. Even still, a wide variety of stuff to choose from, from nearly all varieties of sports. (Used barbell plates shouldnt cost the same price as new plates from local stores).

Went in to see to check this place outfound a couple of golf clubs that I would have like to have purchaseand a golf bag if the sale of the clubs went wellthats where it took a turn in the negative directionI had asked if there is a price break if I were to purchased a couple of clubswell the guy behind the counter started ranting and raving that he had overhead and shipping cost that he had to factor in and that the prices were priced using the PGA listing systemwell I had pulled the particular club up on their chart and it was marked $20.00 higher than the highest listed priceI didnt want the clubs for nothing but wow a customer shouldnt have to encounter this type of customer service anywherewell put the clubs down where I stood and leftI buy a lot of golf items and so do my friends but this place is not for meI hear that there is a store in San Marcusthanks again
