Great innovative ice cream place. I had cookies and cream. They pour vanilla base on a cold tray, finely chop ingredients. And spread in thin layers, over and over again, then shave into rolls to put In Cup. Very entertaining, nice presentation, and tastes great. California has the coolest, most innovative things!

Our rolled ice cream was amazing! Cookie dough and Firecracker were the bomb! The mango smoothie was a terrific treat after walking on the boardwalk! Hayley’s sweet smile and her talent for making rolled ice cream deserve a shout out!

My Birfday Ice cream, cherry bomb!

We are on vacation visiting from Nashville, TN and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience here. We googled the closest ice cream place to where we were and we were pleasantly surprised. Hayley did an amazing job. She was very kind and made us a tasty treat!

Spent some time down in Mission Beach with the family. Found this little nugget on the strip across from Belmont Roller Coaster. We all had different ice cream creations and they were all stellar. Really friendly employees behind the counter that explained the process and made it super fun to watch. I highly recommend a stop by Pacific Knots for dessert!

Made a review because I wanted to become a big tipper just as the sign said. went in with my friends and I ordered the cookies n cream and she ordered the cinnamon rolls one. I’m giving this place a 2 because the ice cream is really good. However whenever I go I have to wait 30+ minutes because they only put one person on at a time and the workers are always rude because they are over worked and have 0 help with the entire shop. For the love of god, hire more people! If I worked here I would have quit on day 1. Don’t be cheep, hire more people.RESPONSE TO OWNER: thank you very much. Id never had rolled ice cream before and this place was awesome! Really friendly staff, super yummy ice cream, and a cute little shop. Id much rather go to a store like this than a chain ice cream place any day. Some of the best ice cream Ive ever had, simple is often the best.

Watching them prepare the ice cream is very rewarding. Then you taste it, it is very refreshing and good. It is not expensive compared to the other options nearby. The employees are very courteous and welcoming.

Super clean store, line out the door but Les worked with such a sense of urgency. Wishing the new owner and his team at Pacific Knots an excellent journey. Some people were waiting for as long as 20 minutes, by the time i got there. Server took a full minute to write a name on a cup and roughly 10 minutes later the same server goes were not serving ice cream anymore despite there still being 15 minutes left til close. Claimed the website was wrong.

It is 9:15pm. The store closes at 9:30. We got in line around 8:30. We were next in line just for the girl to tell us that they cannot serve any more ice cream because they are closing. 1. She kept looking at the line as time got closer to 9:30. So she could have said after this person we are done serving so that everyone else doesnt waste their time. 2. Seemed like there was enough time to serve at least one or two more people before 9:30.When mentioning the fact that we waited for 30 min and saying that they could have let us know before we wait, she gave so much attitude while saying that they will not serve anyone else and that there are other ice cream places we can go to.

Happened across this place last week while visiting San Diego - SO cool and absolutely delicious. 100% recommend if youre in the area.

It is a lot of money for a little bit of ice cream for a fattie like me. However it was really good tasting. It takes about 7 min an order due to the process.

It tasted very good though it seems they dont wash the thing they roll the ice cream on.

I wouldnt know how it is and I probably never will. I showed up with my girlfriend and our dog. We got to Pacific Knots at 6:55pm. While I stayed outside with our dog, my girlfriend went in to order. At this time there was 3 people in front of my girlfriend. At 07:15pm the one employee finally told my girlfriend that she will not be taking any more orders, making her waste 20 minutes of her time. I looked it up and the store doesnt close until 8pm. That is one of the main reasons I will not be going back. Because the one employee couldnt handle her job under pressure, she closed the store early.

You pay around $5-6 dollars if you do not add extras just for the ice cream rolls. The amount of cream that is used to make the rolls is literally is probably 5oz or less if that. This is just a place to say that youve tried it. I wouldnt go back, its just the hype. Flavors were nothing too amazing, and toppings dont really workout because the rolls stick out therefore the toppings just fall off when they poor them. Girl working seemed very bothered as more people were coming in. She had no help which sucks because she probably couldnt get a break. There worker scheduling should improve deeply.
