I tried the pistachio paleta. It was delicious. Service is slow since there are only three employees for the high demand. I really recommend Tocumbo.

Prices are pretty expensive but they give you a good amount of it. The Tostilocos are tasty as always and they have a lot of ice creams flavors to choose from. They also have ice cream popsicles that they make in-house which are super creamy and delicious.

The Chamango was pretty much only chile. Maybe less than 10 pieces of mango sprinkled on top covered in more Chile. And the fresas con crema tastes nothing like youre used to if you have ever had it in Mexico. Very subpar but youre just never gonna get Mexico quality in America. Also it was $9 for a small Fresas con Crema. Prices arent good

Great place if you want something refreshing, and delicious. Its a little pricey but its totally worth the food!

Best place for snacks and ice cream

Perfect spot for all your Mexican treats. Raspados, ice cream, tortas, juices... the list goes on. Ive never been disappointed with the treats my family and I choose. My kids favorite is the Mangoneada with lime ice cream (mango, chamoy, tajin, tamarind Chile stick & lime ice cream) & Bubble gum ice cream.

Great natural ice cream

This place is way expensive I spent $17 for a torts and Aqua Fresca the torta bread was so hard not like toasted hard like old hard dry with no sauce Mayo nothing the pork was not good at all I ended up giving it away and even then no one wanted it, the Aqua Fresca was way to sweet if you come here stick to ice cream I guess.

Whoa. Whoa. MIND BLOWN. Gansitos line the edge of the ice cream display. There are paletas, elote en vaso, tortas ahogadas, and of course, nieve. It sits across from Chicano Park and Northgate Mercado Gonzalez. The surprise was the mangoneada which is mango nieve topped with actual mango fruit and drizzled with tamarind sauce... and its delicious.I love that they have aguas frescas available as well! I dont know if their tortas are any good but I would definitely come back to try more of their paletas. Really nostalgic for Mexico and Im glad that places like this exist.

A friend and I enjoyed a very special ice cream treat here! I only wish I knew enough Spanish to know what it was called. It had a waffle cone, two scoops selected from a large array of unique ice cream flavors, topped with a ribbon of caramel and warm churros.

These are the best fruit salads Ive had! Their ice cream is amazing too. Everything is freshly made and delicious.

They have good service, very attentive and patient (we asked so many questions about many of their products and the guy that assisted us was very nice to give as much info as we needed).The sincronizadas were good, as well as the horchata and their ice cream (the Oreo one was really good).Definitely coming back for more of their delicious food and ice cream!! They have a wide variety of appetizers, ice creams, paletas, and drinks!

The cashier lady was mean to me and she couldnt understand that I made a mistake and I only wanted three medium mangonadas 😢 she was one of the older Mexican ladies maybe she was having a bad day.... Prayers for her and her family

Service is excellent even when they are busy. service is consistently good. the bill wont break you. kinda of like a restaurant in los angeles i loved to visit.

The ice was good along with the sights and entertainment on the San Diego pier.

Even during these weird times you can trust Tocumbo can satisfy that sweet tooth while keeping you safe by staying with state health compliance. Youre gonna wait during peek hours but you wait for everything else these days. The people behind the counter will at least always greet you with kind attentiveness. REMEMBER to tip them, its tough digging out scoops of delicious icecreams.They have your standard flare of flavors, my favorite is the pistachio. Then mint chip, strawberry cheesecake, and butter pecan are all tied for second in my book. Then theres the variaty of sorbets too. Only had a few of those but the Limon and Mango are great starters.Im not used to all the various Mexican flavors but Im sure they are all great. Close by and need a snack? Cant go wrong with Tocumbo!

Graet customer service. Many flavors to chose from. Even with this Covid-19 pandemic they manage to keep everything clean. Constantly washing their hands. Great job!!!. Will definitely be coming back! 💜

Over priced.

The tortas arent bad, theyre pretty decent. I would avoid the one covered in salsa, the salsa is weirdly thick and personally too spicy. The ice cream and everything sweet there is good though!

Tocumbo ice cream is the best around the city, they have plenty of flavors options and its cheap!! My favorite are their lemon ice cream and corm esquites are so good..!!

The ice cream and food is amazing quality with all natural ingredients and homemade. The only reason I dont give full 5 stars is that the prices are on the expensive side. I personally know the owners and majority of the workers since they are family so I can attest to the quality. But without a doubt the ice cream and food is impeccably delicious .

This place offers the WORST chamangos in the county. Chamango has to have mangoes and chamango. However, this place uses chamoy and ice with a 5 pieces of mangoes. Is just like eating chamoy with ice.. the other products they offer, I cant comment on, cause I havent try them, and to be honest, I Never will. Copacabana in national city is better by far..

Great ice cream place, its big for large families, great flavor choices, clean and the workers are friendly. Its a little pricey though! My daughter and I both got something hers was the mini and mine was the large and they charged us the same amount. I support local but due to that alone. Im glad we tried a new spot but we wont be coming back.

Good food and ice cream but they recently completely increased their prices on everything to the point where you think twice about getting a bigger size ice cream. They also reworked their recipes and it seems they now use lower quality ingredients. They lost the good taste in their ice creams and increased the prices. Still an ok place but because of the above I think twice before going here.

I love this place for their delicious ice cream and aguas frescas. I recommend the watermelon flavor. The mangoñada is a definite must too. There are so many flavors of ice cream to choose from its kinda hard to decide sometimes. They also make tasty tortas de jamon con queso y aguacate. Overall this is a good place to get some lunch and a snack.

Good ice cream. I came for the Wednesday special. Chamango had too much chamoy sauce. Everything else was good.

Service is typically above par. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

I was waiting for more than half an hour to get a free birthday gift. I had a code in my email to use in store then ordered another item. When we come to the register she claims that an email is not valid way of claiming the code. So WHY THE F*** is tocumbo asking for my email if it doesnt even work??????

I love this place because of the selection and the tort as are really good...my only issue is they NEVER have enough staff working and the staff they do have works slow and usually only one person helping the customers and other people just in the back wiping a counter FOR EVER. and it should take 10mins to make a total just saying

Awesome place to go alone, or with Family and friends. It has tables and chairs inside. I personally recommend the Fresada as a tres but if your hungry and need something quick then get the Elote en vaso(corn in a cup). Theyve added a few new items I havent tried but overall great place.
