I needed a keg and all the accessories for a social function at our church last night. I walked into Fuller Liquor and asked Nick to help me and boy did he! I can’t thank him enough. It was easy and with some advice and options, I walked out with a pony keg of Karl Strauss (they had several dozen options of domestic, foreign, and craft beers in whole and half kegs), a “jockey box” cooler & CO2 talk, cups, a bucket, tons of ice, and simple instructions. It was a huge hit. This morning I brought it back (less the beer, of course) and got my deposit back with a smile. Nick, you are awesome.If you’re thinking about getting a keg for a backyard function, I know a guy…. Nick at Fuller Liquor.

If I can give this place 0 stars I will. Let me tell you the staff are RUDE there, not attentive and simply dont care about the job. Go anywhere but this place stay FAR FAR away from it.

They failed to give me a detailed receipt and couldnt provide one after I asked. I needed it for a rebate option I had. Inconvenience Store. Not worth a stop. Theres always someone outside the doors asking for money and its not a well kept play. But hey! They got liquor.

This place has gone way down hill. Old owner(sold it about 1-2 years ago) had that place running nicely. Now the staff and who I think is the owner are all terrible. That wouldnt be an issue if it was normally priced. This place is a joke and over charges for EVERYTHING. If you need tobacco products I recommend the shell up the street. Literally almost half the price. Fuller now sells 16.9 ounce sodas which are from broken up 6 packs at wal mart and costco yet they charge 20 oz prices. Dont get ripped off here and spend your money anywhere else.

The clerks are quick, professional and really friendly! They have to deal with the weirdest folk this city has to offer( i saw old Greg steal a beer while doing theatre; it was fantastic). The prices are steep but its a one stop shop.

The staff are dirt bags with poor attitudes

While conveniently located everything else about this store is less than desirable as a store. The prices are at least %20-30 higher than the county average (a wedge sandwich at $5.99?) They specialize in high markup items. In fairness this probably has to do with the highway overhead. The customer service is typical of San Diego retailers (dont seem to care that you are even there (Just a minute, Im on the phone.)). You are better off driving another 3-5 minutes west for a better experience.

Go here all the time. The guys in the back are helpful and make ya feel at home.

Great prices guys that work there are really cool

Great place to go to for most convenience needs, was working outside the building replacing the cable for the whole block and the owner or manager came out with free fountain drinks for me and my crew even tho he had lost about 10,000$ worth of business in the prior weeks due to his internet and cable being shotty because the cable for the block had been damaged. Otherwise it is a fully stocked relatively clean liquor store with and owner who cares about the people he deals with and has other snack items you wouldnt normally find in some other liquor stores. Although I dont drink very often I would definitely go out of my way to hit up this liquor store because of how thoughtful the owner is.

The guys there are always so nice and helpful. Leave smiling everytime 🙂

Too expensive

This is the store my mom would go when I was little. Even though the deli is gone I still love this place. The people remember you when you come in and greet you. Its always very clean and they have a great selection of IPAs

Great but pocket breaker

Kegs are overpriced, manager is stingy. Their website is 5 years out of date so when we got there the prices and availability are way different than what the website quoted.

This tiny liquor store is a beer lovers paradise. Fuller has an exhaustive collection of macro/micro-brew beers in their refrigerators. If something you like is NOT in their store, theyll let you know how long it will take to get it. These guys are passionate about beer.

I feel like they price gouge there customers because of the location and the fact that theyre the only liquor store in that area.

They have everything you need.Close to the trolley station, a sleazy motel, and almost under a bridge. Not too safe at night.

Fuller has a great selection of craft brews, even the more expensive, rare and upscale ones. Its a typical small liquor store and due to its location you may find lots of homeless people around. They do a good job of opening up two additional cash registers when it gets busy (like Friday afternoon). Ive never had occasion to ask for assistance as I can find what I need easily enough on my own. The only down side to me is that the pricing is just a bit higher than I would expect but I chalk that up to the fact that its the closest liquor store to the Old Town transit center (about 150 yards away) and thats what the market will bear.

Good store. On a few occasions these guys have been a little unreasonable about renting kegs and jockey box equipment (and refusing to return deposits). Beware.

I dont know about the kegs service here. Ive dropped in to pick up coffee or a snack on the way to work once a week or so over the past year. Last week, I realized after leaving that the cream had curdled in my coffee but figured it was a fluke. This morning, I dropped in for a cup of coffee and saw that the creamer, again, was curdled. Its not a big deal, but I tried to be helpful by showing it to the man at register since the creamers probably just needed to be circulated out.He got agitated told me thats how the creamer is meant to be (its half and half from a common company.) He shouted that he didnt want to see my face there again, then followed me into the parking lot to shout it again.
