I always come here for my liquid needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. There is a wide selection of alcohol and beer. Theres even a nice cigar selection to pick from. If youre looking for a snack they have those. I couldnt recommend this place anymore.

I utilize DoorDash for delivery from Hilltop Liquor. If anything is ever out I receive a call for suitable replacements. Thanks guys, keep up the great work!

The most friendly liquor store in town. They regularly have to deal with unruly customers, but the crew at hilltop never uses it as an excuse to be rude. Incredibly friendly and welcoming atmosphere every time you shop there. Everybody who works there seems to have a good yet professional time. If you’re in the neighborhood, come say hi.

This place is amazing. Always has the best selection out of anywhere Ive been. Shevi and Alan are two of the most helpful and caring people Ive ever met. They are always very courteous and are willing to help you with your every need. I come here purely or the customer service those gentlemen provide.

Very nice owner, had a quick chat and he recommended something to me to help with the heat of which I was not used to. It honestly saved me from passing out from said heat. I cant thank him enough.

Hilltop Liquor Store is my favorite liquor store in San Diego, I’ve been in San Diego for almost two years and a half and let me tell y’all, this store has everything. U like the store and its a small business with great employees. It has a little bit if every thing and they deliver to those who have problems getting around. For me its having a relationship with some of the clerks and being able to support a small business. Some times I dont have time to go to bigger stores but seeing some great people there is worth it!

The Glacier water kiosk machine hasnt been thoroughly serviced in several months..especially the filter, anyone who fill water into their 5 gal jug containers will notice a metal aftertaste. We all watched Erin Brockavich film ..20 yrs ago, right, where drinking water caused everyone to get Cancer due to Toxic metals in the water with a Metal copper aftertaste ..right. Well, i strongly suggest this Machine be serviced ASAP ....**Obviously the fact that mostly Hispanics live there with a few white folks who have moved into the neighborhood within the last 2-3 yrs. SO maybe the goal of Glacier water is too slowly kill off the Hispanic neighborhood folks.

HillTop Liquor, walking distance around The Grant Hill District. Great friendly customer service. Been coming here since way back when cigarettes cost 79cents. HillTop is well lit up and open late for the last minute drinks. Great selection on any kind of beverage.

Nice little store with lots of goodies here. The employees are super cool, chill, laid back whateverr =) I was in there a couple weeks ago buying my usual bunch of candy, and one of the guys asked me if theres something in particular that Im looking for and i said no thanks i think Ive got it covered... then he said that if theres ever anything at all i want but cant find here, to let him know and they will put it in their next order. And no he wasnt flirting either. He was truly being genuine and helpful. Great custy service like that is so, soooo important because there are too many unhappy people these days who tend to treat their customers like garbage... thanks for being awesome guys!
