The deli in the store is my favorite. Ive been going here since 2001. Everyone that works here is so nice and friendly.Update: I took my Grandma here yesterday for lunch. She loved her sandwich and already making future lunch date plans for us to go again. I dont go Downtown often but anytime I do its a MUST that I stop by for my fav deli sandwich...

Personally although there a personal needs for a tow trucks service at times. My feeling are they are in cahoots with the police department with their impound charges .

I dont hate Mixon liquor...Its convenient and fast.But over priced. Check outthe salad they sell for $4.99and its all weeds. I boughta chili beans for $2.99 in a1 cup styrofoam containerand it was barely half full.Ppl make thins complex.

Owners and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Great salads and homemade dressings! Food, liquor, cigarettes and more. 6 feet apart rule and no mask, no entry rule is always enforced and I applaud them for keeping everyone safe. I love this place!

Mixon is a market store but also one of the best & oldest delis in San Diego, great selection, awesome customer service.

I hiked up the hill to get to this place (because I desperately wanted to get out of the creepy party of downtown late at night) while I was waiting on Lyft. Great liquor store: spacious and clean, nice selection, and the guy working there was super nice and friendly and went out of his way to make sure I got a salad dressing I liked (even after I told him it wasnt necessary). He also knew what all the new Camel packs looked like and made sure I got the ones I asked for were (which is, as a we smokers will know, a surprisingly uncommon thing even at liquor stores!😊) 💯

Go to the deli and try the construction sandwich, and or a bowl of chicken enchilada soup. If you dont like it there is something wrong with you. One of the best sandwiches and soup. If the construction doesnt sound good to you try another one. This is a place myself and all co-workers crave.

Yes, the ambiance is a bit lacking, but this place makes some KILLER sandwiches! Theyre not proud or haughty, just consistently good. They are a little bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Every person Ive taken here has been amazed because theyve paid twice this amount for a BLT at Princess Pub or some other trendy stop in Little Italy and gotten half as much with a fraction of the taste. If you want good food, fast, go here! Youll see blue and white collars rubbing elbows and enjoying themselves. ENJOY!

One of the other reviewers got it right: a good alternative to 7-11...because it is better. Their freshly made sandwiches are terrific and it is huge inside. A lot of convenience food.and places to sit.

General Prices are fair...Their Sandwiches are a much better option over the typical fast food Restaurant.

Good alternative to 7-Eleven. There isnt a huge selection of food, but if you want reasonably priced beer and snacks, come check this place out. Only downside is it closes pretty early (10:30 pm), so late-night party-goers are out of luck!
