Well, at first the girls were helpful... always reminding me what I cannot do and that they can terminate my lease. The first two(2) days, I was warned once each day not to block the isle so that others could still get by. The second warning included, thats two now. So, I asked, what would happen if there was a third? Not that there would be a third time, of course. To which the manager replied, you could be terminated. I hope I havent developed a complex or anything...

I was told I had access from 6am-6pm, but no one told me the gate stops working at 5:45pm. I get off work at 5:30pm. If you have the same hours I do, don’t waste your money or time because they don’t issue refunds. Huge waste of money and time for me personally, but hey, if you don’t have normal working hours go for it.My personal experience before and after renting here has been terrible. I have a lot of experience outside of San Diego with storage units so I’m beside myself how uncooperative and unhelpful this storage unit is. Was also told there wasn’t even a district manager to speak to so if you have an issue with this storage unit facility, good luck getting the issue resolved.

I didnt have the best experience with this storage facility. I reserved my unit online and verbally confirmed the monthly rate and special offer over the phone immediately after booking it. When I came in for my move-in date it was late in the day, they told me they were closing sooner than the time listed on Google, and forced me to sign paperwork showing a higher monthly rent than what I had reserved online and confirmed the day I reserved it. This was bait and switch and if I hadnt signed it that day, I would have lost hundreds of dollars due to having to rent a van and moving helpers again the next day, I was backed into a corner and simply had to move forward. Luckily I stood my ground and ensured that they acknowledge the correct rate and eventually the manager did honor it, but their tactics on move in day were extremely shady, rude and caused unnecessary stress. Surprisingly, they were somewhat decent to deal with for the next few months I had my stuff stored there while travelling. However within about 5 months of having my unit there they implemented an unannounced rent increase of almost 20%. This was a very steep increase and within less than 6 months of renting there. Unfortunately I rented with a different U-Stor-It location in the past and they did something similar. I am not sure if all storage units use these kinds of shady tactics or just U-Stor-It. The only reason I give them 2 stars is because the manager did honor the correct rate for at least the first few months and I was honestly expecting them to be even shadier than they actually were. I still would not recommend them if you can find a better option.

The staff are great, the place is clean and secure. Overall pretty solid. Only complaint is the elevator doors are way too quick to close. Super aggravating! Reprogram it to give people time to get in with their stuff. Its unnecessarily stressful.

I dont normally write reviews but I felt like this was necessary, one of my close friends bought a unit at this place and she said this place was amazing and i just lost my apartment due to covid and I needed a place to store my furniture for a couple months. so I went in this week and Iris the manager was extremely rude she rolled her eyes repeatedly and i just want to say their is no excuse to be mean to a customer that pay good money for a unit and just get disrespected. I rather go to a different place, I went to a storage unit called Extra Places and they were actually really nice and respectful to their customers. I will never go back to this storage unit again.

I love this place! The staff is friendly and always willing to help, the facility is extremely clean and it’s climate controlled which is a huge plus. Also the prices are cheaper than the other storage facilities near by.

Its a good place to store your stuff. Location is very convenient if you live in North Park. Well staffed, lots of security cameras.

My experience has been great with the office team. Disappointed in that I have only been a customer in the 2 units for 5 months and I received a 10% increase in rent on both units. Come on you couldnt wait to increase rent? I know a bit about storage and that is unnecessary. The reason given of infrastructure and maintenance costs are not relevant. It is a new storage building open only 9 months. Youve budgeted for both long before my 5 months period of occupancy.

The front desk lady Isis is very rude. Bring back the young men that worked here before they were nice and actually cared about customers. I asked her for her corporate number and she said she was the manager I think she lied.

Very unfair! On Friday may 7th I rented a unit & eventhough I mentioned twice my move in date which was may 9th (mothers day) I wasnt informed of their holiday hours & when I showed up with a loaded truck on Sunday there was 3 other upset customers trying to get access & I had to rent another unit somewhere else. I spoke to the person that helped me & his answer was I DONT REMEMBER after speaking to the assistant manager I realized that my $180 were simply gone eventhough I didnt use the unit for 1 second.....very unfair......defenetly their customer service practices need to be improved.

The place is super clean compared to other storage facilities. The units are easy to access.

Brand new and very clean! The manager, David is professional and efficient. All units are inside and there are security cameras so its pretty secure. Everything is temperature controlled, too.

The place is a scam Ive been there for close to a year now and they turn a scare me for minor accident thats only worth $200 they want $3,000 for something thats when you work 200 and they will not let me go into my storage and theyre trying to keep my stuff which I believe they did cuz I cannot pay the money I tried to make a payment and they will not accept it they they want 3000 + 200 for the storage what makes it 3,200 I dont have it so Im about to lose everything I own thanks to them and Ive been a good customer with them I do not recommend this place be aware 👎
