Warning the owner (Thom) makes unscrupulous deals and sells items that he no longer has in stock/legally no longer owns. Double selling and charging both parties in full. When I first inquired about a large bronze statue, I made an offer, the snarky responds, quote “go fly a kite.” Then five years later the item was put on sale for a very close amount of my original offer from five years back. I of course offered to buy it and the seller agreed. The seller quoted me the shipping cost, I agreed, and paid in full. The owner then contacts me notifying me that the shipping will be double and that he “misquoted.” I agreed to the new shipping amount and was given a tracking number. I kept watch of the Fed Ex tracking for a week, but it was never updated. After reaching out to the store again about the shipping- no reply. Weeks later a third party representative from 1st Dibs (which represents T Reggiardo Antiques online inventory) contacted me to let me know the statue had been sold to another buyer while it was awaiting shipping to me. The owner never bothered to follow up or apologize. Rude and odious customer service, out of touch with market values, poor follow through and selling items twice with no guarantee. Unscrupulous behavior and a lack of ethical policy makes this shop an AVOID. I am reporting this owner to the BBB of San Francisco. Buyers Beware! If you buy it you better make sure you can pick it up the same day- immediately after the purchase, otherwise, you will be in a pickle.

Tom works in the store, and is so friendly and accommodating. I havent even purchased anything from him yet (saving up!) but he always remembers me and never tries to sell me anything. We simply talk about history and the city. Really love his selection of items too. I learned that Ken Fulk likes to shop here which makes me love Toms selection even more!

Tom is a talented and reliable dealer with very nice pieces. I am sorry I dont get in more often. Cant imagine him being rude to anyone. Wouldnt say that about myself. If you like real antiques a stop here will be rewarding. If you want garage sale stuff probably not a good use of your time.
