Bekris Gallery is a real stand out among the gallery glut of 49 Geary. Its African art and its for real. Lets say its First Thursday Art Walk. You take the elevator to the top and walk down the art deco stairs, right? Wrong! Instead start at Bekris. Do us all a favor: get on their mailing list and RSVP so they dont run out of wine by the time I arrive.
