Edit:Came back for their Olive Oil π« and Sea salt π§ Frozen Yogurt π¦Went in skeptical, assumed the worst, and to my surprise, it was delightfully fruity with hints of sweetness! This paired well with the tanginess from the yogurt.Rumi Olive Oil by CANAAN was the protagonist in this play of flavors.Dont expect to achieve the same with any kind of olive oil. It was so good, I picked up a bottle for myself. With the anticipation of using this lovely oil olive with Icelandic yogurt at home, I left with a smile βΊοΈ and a satisfied pallet!---Nestled in this urban store is their smooth tart frozen yogurt.Plain to the taste but begs for another spoon when topped with gooey thick melted chocolate π« and cruchy hazelnuts π₯.A frozen yogurt thats simple yet delicious, an underappreciated dessert just waiting to be savored. Will be coming back to try their olive oil π« and sea salt β΅π§topping!
Labeling anything as gourmet is really just an excuse to charge whatever you want for a βcuratedβ selection of mediocre albeit uncommon goods. Theyβve got what seems to be a good beer selection, but upon closer inspection itβs actually pretty limited and all terribly expensive. Sprinkled in there are some great options, but they become a lot less cool at such a premium.I couldnβt even stand looking at the rest of the store, and the abysmal whiskey selection behind the checkout counter is so embarrassingly trademark of the Mission hipsters that I gagged a little.
Do more for the people that help you stay in business. Donβt be wack
Giving one star to protest them not offering frozen yogurt anymore. Their frozen yogurt was literally the best in the city. They still have it in packaged form but itβs $12 and just not the same. Please bring back the frozen yogurt! Itβs the most common keyword for your Google reviews.Otherwise itβs a fancy grocery store good if your desperate and donβt want to walk to Whole Foods / safeway. If you wanna get produce, walk one further block to mission st. and find produce for 1/3 of the price. But if you want cheese or meat or flowers or speciality foods (pastas etc.) this is your place.

Lovely market, great liquor, wine and beer selection and so many delightful treats. Cheese, crackers, olives... if you forgot something you will find a replacement here.
The location and overall aesthetic is where it gets points. Its well lit with wide halls, making it more (physically) accessible for some. While the selection will allow local residents to grab quick bits and pieces of what they may need (ice cream, tomatoes, bread, pasta, alcohol), the price points are quite high, making it (monetarily) inaccessible for many. The selection of plant based / vegan items is alright and includes a bunch of hard to find gems, such as green girl ice cream. The location would get more points if it found a way to remove flesh (meat) from sight (or ideally, removed it overall).
Probably the only place you can buy a tiny chunk of epoisse cheese (vs the whole wheel). They also had mangos for $2 today (probably a seasonal special). They are asking their own sandwiches; one of the 3 was a bacon with chilli jam. They also had a mozzarella and a tuna each with some nice fixins.
Horrendous customer service experience
Nice selection of cheese, crackers, jam, chocolate, & other great treats. Its convenient for buying snacks or gifts for a party. Be aware of service: Cashier was by far one of rudest Ive encountered. She was super friendly to the person in front of me (maybe he was a regular). But quickly changed her tone with me. No thank you, no offer for a bag, barely a hello...
Cool store. Nice selection of cheeses, wines and liquor. Love the chilled section. Not a full service grocery store but great for quick dinner ideas, specialty items or stopping by to pick up a gift. Definitely will go back soon. The fresh tuna salad was delicious!!
An excellent grocery store, and they have yummy pastries as well.
Since the pandemic started theyve evolved into basically a high end mini-grocery store. So convenient!
Great selection of unique and well-sourced food products. Can be a little pricey for larger shopping trips - but the quality of products available is always exceptional.
Awesome corner grocery store, with an amazing coffee shop inside. The Counter Culture blend Americano, grabbed me by the nose as I was walking down the street. So I had to stop in for a hot cup of Joe! Come check this place out!
The guy in the mornings makes high quality espresso drinks. No need to stand in long lines at the βfancyβ roasteries down the street. Plus the pastries are always fresh.
Pricey, but they have a nice selection of interesting foodstuffs, including mochi muffins, plus a couple of tables for eating inside. Its way less crowded than Bi-Rite, but somehow feels more aloof.
So good and simple! Iβve been coming here nearly every day for 2 weeks while taking at Lovestory Yoga across the street and the baristas KNOW how to do good coffee! Their snacks and sandwiches are super yummy, if youβd like to avoid addiction donβt get a mochi muffin, they are really really really good...
Fantastic local market for higher-end items. One of the best wine lineups in the Mission (each handpicked by the owner), with very little of that corner store markup which you often see in the Mission.Overall its a local mini-grocery store with a wonderfully curated selection of items at reasonable prices. And an excellent coffee bar as well!
Great store, awesome collection of products, nice atmosphere and the owners are super cool people! Recommended!
Neat place to pick up some hard to find foods. They have fresh honeycomb, fruits, and some alcohol infused jams. Very clean with very helpful and friendly staff. Prices are consistent with fancy health food stores.
Great coffee, fine spirits, hipster beers, excellent cheese selection, soft serve with olive oil and sea salt... All of the inessential essentials in one place π
I didnt believe the hype until I tried the frozen yogurt myself. But after doing so, I can honestly say it is the best I have ever had. Portion size is perfect too proving its about quality versus quantity. Its ironic considering CREAM is located right next door which feels like you walked into a sauna because of the hot ovens for baking cookies. Also love Foodhalls coffee over some of the other local favorites like Stanza and Four Barrel. I watched as my mocha was prepared and could see that the guy behind the counter really took pride in making it for me. He took his time and was methodical in his preparation. The result was a delicious drink worth every penny. Only downside is the walking past all the filth on the streets getting to this oasis.
No guacamole?! If you gentrify out a bodega you gotta at least provide equal value... do I frequent here though for the amazing ice cream selection and tart frozen yogurt? Yes. Am I a hypocrite? Yes. Welcome to the mission.
Try their soft serve ππ»ππ»ππ»
This review is just for the delicious frozen yogurt they have. Super creamy, slightly tart. Its really quite special.
Good place to sit and have lunch. Pleasent music. Clean.
This place is so cute, the staff is friendly and it has a wide range of goodies. One of my favorites!
Organic produce, fancy deli, yummy froyo and excellent wine & liquor, whats not to love? yes its a tad pricy, but everything they sell is top notch. This is a gem store with very good service. AND theyre open until 11pm or midnight :)
Best frozen yogurt here! Huge variety of specialty food and beverages and fresh flowers, with great friendly service.
Another review for just the frozen yogurt (owners of the Foodhall listing - update your offerings/business category so that people can find you on maps when searching for froyo! Alternatively, maybe Google can implement community suggestions for offerings/category).Oh yeah, back to the review. Its dope. Reminds me of Yogorino in Philly. Service is super friendly too!
Love Foodhall. They are my life savior in a neighborhood that lacks good grocery stores. Their frozen yogurt is fantastic!
Excellent collection. Very clean interior. They also have a coffee corner!
Excellnt coffee..good pastries..excellent variety of goods...but 3 because its a wee bit expensive...
Best stop for a quick buy. Excellent cbeese and drinks
More expensive than Whole Foods, so I would have thought you pay for service. Nope. One of the cashiers had a really bad attitude, and left me never wanting to come back. I was hoping for a good experience but was disappointed.
Great selection + atmosphere; the froyo with olive oil is so good.
Good pre-made chicken salad
Quaint, small spot with quiet place for a chat
Such a gem in the city! Their roasted eggplant π is soooo good!! Fair prices, owners are friendly.
Tidy gourmet corner store w high end items
Boeto is just a great he knows his stuff happy friendly environment
Very bougie, but has the best frozen yogurt Ive ever jad
It looks like a good place to get a reasonably priced bottle of wine and good quality cheese.
Wide selection of gourmet foodstuffs, booze and wine - friendly and knowledgeable staff, great cappuccino. Not very busy, yet, as they havent been discovered by the public...
That cbd infused kombucha...love,love,love
Ok, the froyo is great but the serving sizes are pitiful!
My favorite stop in the AM to get my lunch and snacks for the day!!
Urban layout with hard-to-find goods from local to global brands. Also, Kimchi.
Pretty decent grocery, with excellent frozen yogurt!
Pretty nice atmosphere, I like their fresh food. All the staff is friendly and professional.
Really wonderful spot!
Lush grocery store to be exact!
Good food
Guy used his fingers to scoop out some of the espresso
Nice
Just fine
Super expensive hipster Food Market in the mission. Everything is overpriced. The techies are coming the techies are coming.
Walked past it
I miss the Bodega
They have delicious yogurt base soft serve ice cream. And specialty, import products, organic goods, etc
Nice very special place
