Absolutely wonderful boutique in The Castro. Their selection of high-end fragrances is astounding. If you’re looking for typical mainstream fragrances you can buy at the mall- this isn’t the place. It’s full of unique/private label perfumes and the gal that helped us has more knowledge and experience than you can possibly imagine.

Hands down one of the best fragrance shops I have ever visited. Claude showed absolute professionalism and kindness during my visit allowing me to smell many unique niche fragrances I cannot find anywhere else. If you are into scents or looking for a unique gift this is a place you MUST check out. I cant wait to visit again!

I have never had as much fun in a perfume shop as I had at ZGO in San Francisco. My husband and I are both enthusiastic perfume collectors, and the super nice folks at ZGO asked us about our interests, and encouraged us to sniff dozens of fragrance testers to our hearts content -- & in doing so demonstrating a kindness, enthusiasm, patience, and generosity of spirit that made for a truly special shopping experience. We drove into the city especially to visit their shop and all three of the amazing people who helped us select our purchases made it well worth the trip. We left with three absolutely gorgeous niche fragrances and a warm feeling of kinship. Although we live clear across the country, well make it a point to visit ZGO again next time were in San Francisco. Highly, highly recommended.

I have made 3 online orders over several months and been fully satisfied every time. From careful & attentive packing of my items (tea, lotion, and books), excellent products, and shipping that has been faster than Amazon on international products (Mariage Féres teas), this place has earned 5 stars from the get-go!

Opened package and made one spray, it went all over the table and floor. So disappointed in the quality. I will not be a return customer.Update. Just had a man call my home from ZGO telling me to change my rating. He stated it was unfair to leave a bad review because I spilled the perfume.I DID NOT SPILL THE PERFUME. It was an atomizer and when I pressed the sprayer, the entire content went everywhere..The 1 star rating was for the quality, if I could leave 0 stars for management, I would.From my experience, Avoid this business.

5 stars, the people who work there are very accommodating and I purchased an amazing perfume, just in time for the city reopening. Love it here, will come back again.

ZGO is my favorite online shop for scented candles! Fantastic customer service, and they always ship Super Fast! Also their brick and mortar store is Wonderful, definitely a must visit whenever Im in the Bay Area.

ZGO is one of my favorite stores in the city! They carry EVERYTHING that I didnt even know could be carried in a third party store, some of these hard to find brands Ive only ever found at the brands own boutique: diptyque, Cire Trudon, Austin Press, Voluspa, Mariage Freres tea, Baccarat Rouge 540 and the rest of the Maison Francisc Kurkdjian line, Byredo hand and perfume products, Mad et Len, and WAY more.The staff, Ive only ever seen the same guy, is super friendly and happy to answer any questions. If you need something out of stock, hell update you on when it comes in. Its such a treat having ZGO in the city and I always come away with something that Ive been looking for, but have only been able to find at ZGO!

Beautifully curated shop in the heart of the Castro carrying an assortment of candles and perfumes that are regularly pretty difficult to find. While the price does lean on the higher side, the quality of the items appears to match.I believe there’s a selection, a small selection, of organic items so I wouldn’t head there if you’re looking for a shop which carries just that.The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the items, so overall it’s a really pleasant experience.

Was able to purchase some samples online, of some fragrances I’ve been dying to try. Affordable, comes in a spray bottle, & it was wrapped in the most aesthetically pleasing parcel. Definitely going to order again, great selection of luxury fragrance houses.

I was so happy to discover ZGO sells my favorite French tea! And even happier that I could support a small business vs. Amazon. Email communication and delivery were both timely and excellent. Thank you ZGO! Well be buying more tea soon! :D

Amazing store with quite a selection of fine fragrances and rares, customer service is top 👌 👍, made a few purchases there my self and i like that they make samples of fragrances that they cary so you can actually wear them and see how they work for you before you buy a bottle, and very nice will be making more purchases there. Not many stores like this one in my area, this one is a gem!!!

This is a good little shop. They have a wide rage of types of Fragrances too. Yes they are a Perfumery but even in that space many places wont venture out.These guys carried some Niche that was middle eastern, UK options, and small indie houses that are just harder to come bye too. A good variety. They also care a number of home products which is cool.It was a good stop!

Absolutely Gorgeous shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here! was window shopping & browsed in and was immediately greeted by the ever so cute staff. Where to begin? Their products are amazing. Glorious Candles & Fine Fragrances to aromatherapy oils.. Even home Decor. This Shop reminds me of the shops In Covent Garden, London.. OR even Hampstead or Paris.It is quite High End and pricey, but theyve got one of a kind products that you cannot find elsewhere. This shop is PERFECT for that Special Gift for someone as well!

This is my go-to store for housewarming gifts. Who doesnt need a high end candle (one they wouldnt necessarily purchase for themselves) or a whimsical Jonathan Adler tchotchke? You can find gifts ranging from $20-$100 so theres something to suit every budget. The staff is super nice and they throw in complimentary strike matches and gift wrapping when you make a purchase. Its conveniently located near the dry cleaner, Spikes Coffee, and the wine store. The store is well curated and smells delicious, by the way.
