Nomad Rugs is one of my very favorite stores. Chris is the nicest guy and very low pressure. He genuinely wants you to find a rug you love. You can even test out the rug in your home and return it if it doesnt work, which is super helpful. The quality of their rugs is top notch, I have owned a few for years and absolutely love them - they are works of art. My parents also have bought many rugs from Chris and loved them all. If you can go to the store and see them in person they come alive - photos do not do them justice.

These are gorgeous rugs. I was attracted to them because of the natural dyes and then discovered the fair trade practices involving multiple generations of women. I spent countless hours looking at the tribal rugs, then the modern rugs, and was able to try out several in my home, ultimately finding ones that elevated our space in the finest way. Chris was wonderful to work with. Absolutely worth the price to have a handmade, hand-dyed piece created and imported with such care.

I love Nomad Rugs online store! (Never been to the brick and mortar store). Four years ago from clear across the country I took a chance buying a rug from Nomad Rugs online and I was so blown away by how beautiful the rug is that I have continued to make several purchases every year since. By now I have purchased over a dozen rugs from their online store (plus bought several as gifts) and a few of their really excellent kilim pillows. Chris runs a rug store with beautiful things that dont cost the earth. Ive visited once or twice and spend a happy hour or so pulling out rugs and feasting my eyes on the dazzling colors and patterns. His simple website will give a flavor of what he sells and you can rest assured that the actual product will always be much better in real life. Customer service matches the quality of the product. We love this place! We got our first Nomad rug in the halcyon days when you could go inside the store - it was a very relaxed low pressure experience, not what I was used to from rug shopping. Our daughter played on a toy kitchen set while the owner told us about his sourcing relationships with the various communities across Afghanistan and the other employee patiently flipped through five tons of gorgeous rugs.The owner gave great advice, helping us choose the perfect rug for our budget. This is the best rug showroom, ever. Chriss taste is impeccable and eclectic; he is ultra-helpful and super flexible; and the rugs-!
