This is the coolest kitchen store on either side of the Mississippi. Browse the first three floors for all your kitchen goods, and then, if youre brave, head to the forth floor and find the Williams-Sonoma Cooking School kitchen. This kitchen will make you feel utterly terrible about your kitchen. You will want to hire someone to burn your house down, so you can collect enough insurance to rebuild your kitchen, only to realize youll only get enough from your decrepit houses insurance policy to afford to watch someone cook for an hour in Williams-Sonomas godly palace of a kitchen.

This is the location to visit if youre visiting or from around the area. Customer service is flawless and its across the street from the Union Square parking garage and in the vicinity of other fabulous shopping locations.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. If I could give -5 stars I absolutely would.Placed a large order online with expedited shipping after a lot of the knife items weren’t available in store. Order Confirmation received right away.Three days go by and no knives have been shipped. Called customer service to find out what’s going on β€œeverything looks good on our end, I don’t know why the order was delayed”. Another day goes by, no message or call or email received, check the order status and the entire order was canceled without any notification. I call again, no clue what happened, get redirected to order processing and have to listen to the rep ARGUING and DEBATING with me that a message has been left on day of order for verification purposes. There was no message, no email. And that would have been something I could have been notified about when I went out of my way to reach out to the company (multiple times!!). Very rude, didn’t let me finish my sentences and just talked over me repeatedly with the same exact sentence β€œI see here that a message has been left”. Absolutely no way to talk to customers, no intention at all to figure out a solution. Sad to see that more and more companies cheap out on who they hire. Absolutely no interest in regaining our business (and it was a large order) but more interested in debating. Never going to buy anything here again.

I had a horrible experience with curbside pickup yesterday that I feel like other customers have the right to know about. When I arrived at the store for curbside pickup, I was greeted by 1, just 1 curbside pickup spot and no other legal spots to park in. Just so you know right next door, Saks on 5th Ave had like 5 spots...so curbside pickup isnt really curbside pickup. THEN, when I walk into the store Im told, by who turns out to be the manager, that the most expensive item and most important item in my order was refunded because they were selling me the display item. She then tried to sell me, again this is the manager, the displayed item for the same price!I was visibly frustrated because the whole convenience of curbside pickup is to avoid a lengthy pickup time. Almost 20 minutes after initially speaking with the manager and moving my car twice to avoid a ticket, I finally received my items.

You spend more than department stores but the product quality, the staffing and staff knowledge more than compensates. There is a wide, quality assortment of cookware, bakeware and hard to find vinegars, sauces, ciders, jams and jellies. The Union Square store has an excellent layout for customer flow during COVID with sanitizing stations and procedures clearly in place.

This is a review for the customer service there. Although I only went into the store and not past the register I must commend Austin (I believe that was him name) for doing such an excellent job. I came in last night with a list from a client and he went out of his way to journey around the store and collect everything while I hung out.Once everything was rung up the price came to $1K. Yes, its easier than youd think to spend $1000 on a shopping bag full of glasses. I called the client to confirm. She ended up modifying her order and Austin was pleasant and understanding despite the fact he spent awhile collecting everything. He even assured me that if the client didnt pay for some reason they could pay me back if I brought the receipt in. Talk about amazing customer service. The store itself had a nice layout and had levels and levels to explore.I hope Austin gets a raise. He deserves it.

I live in the city, but I dont have much time to go pick up my order but I was going to do it When I so that it was taking too long. They said I couldnt do it even though it had not been shipped yet. When I put my review online, they didnt post it. The Whetstone is two side and has a gap between them in one of the corners, so the product is not that reliable and expensive ($93)considering it. I don mind if the product is expensive as long as it is good product. I have never been to the store. I dont recommend it. Ill try different place.
