Best boba in town hands down. Been coming to this joint for years and they never disappoint. Fresh milk taro is my fav with generous amount of fresh taro to chew on.
Drove from Orange County to pick up a slice of that amazing Milk Tea Boba crepe cake for my Husband birthday... was not disappointed! So unique and worth the drive!
Interesting name, and a very small place. Not-very-friendly service. The whole experience was disappointing. We waited about 20 minutes to get our food, and there were only 3 people ahead of us. Dont know how many staff they had, but saw at least two people. The drinks were pretty good, a lot of toppings, and sweetness adjusted to as requested. This is the only place Ive seen that charges $0.50 for no ice. So if its a cold day in SF and I want a drink thats not too cold, I would actually have to pay extra.Of all the snacks, the egg puff stood out, delicious! However, the fried squid sucked, soggy and very chewy. All in all, no plan to visit this place again.
The best bubble tea that Ive had living in SF. The people working there knew my multiple orders for how often my wife and I went. They have a wide range of flavors and their food (I would recommend the Takoyaki) is always good!
I ordered popcorn chicken and it wasn’t seasoned. Cashier said they never season their popcorn chickens unless in the batter. I’m sorry, I ate this plenty of times and I know you guys do season your chicken after it is cooked cuz I have never had to add more seasoning ever. The cashier shrugged and turned her back away. they messed up and didn’t bother to apologize. I loved their food but I am NOT returning again to be treated like this.
Love the giant fruit tea. The best! Smells better than any perfume because of the passion and fruits they put in. The orange pulp wasn’t so carefully separated like the last time but I still like it. Tastes like heaven! Even for someone who’s never liked venturing out of the comfort zone like original boba milk tea will LOVE this! The snacks tho, *bleh* Too greasy and no flavor whatsoever. Just get the tea!
From the outside, I didnt expect much. The place was tiny, and looked like any other boba shop. The menu had a nice variety of drinks, as well as many posters of specialty drinks. I got the passion fruit green tea, with pearls. It was under 5 dollars, which is unusual nowadays. The tea was fabulous, and had the tropical and strong taste that I expect from passion fruit. The jasmine green tea was also very noticeable. The part that stood out the most were the pearls, though. Not only were they extremely warm and soft, but they seemed to be soaked in some sort of brown sugar or caramelized sauce. Something about it was just so magical. The drink was amazing, and I would definitely recommend it!!!
I’ve gotten drinks from here before and I never had a bad experience until my recently visit. I called to order before hand and asked for two of the same drink. I repeated my order numerous times because it didn’t seem like the worker was listening to me on the phone. Upon arrival, he said that he only had one drink ready for us and they just ran out of boba. The worker didn’t even start to make my drink until after I arrived. I settled for another drink and they ended up giving me the wrong drink. I didn’t even get an apology and I still had to wait a long time even though I called before hand.
Best Boba tea in town!
Lovvvvee their taro root milk tea w/ boba! 😍 Their milk teas happen to be dairy free - a big perk for anyone with a casein or lactose intolerance. The only thing better than bubble tea is bubble tea in the park - grab your treat and head to 8th & Lake to access Mountain Lake Park!
This place is quite small, and it is hard to tell who is in line or who is simply waiting for their orders. It is a bit hard to notice unless you looked for it closely. The wait for my drink and snacks was very long. The customers in front of us had only ordered two drinks, yet they had to wait ten minutes for it. The drinks were quite good and they did put a lot of toppings. However, they charged an extra fifty cents for no ice. Snacks were not impressive at all, the fried squid lacked taste. Cashier was friendly, though he was going in and out of the kitchen often, causing an extra wait in the line. Overall, this place is not very impressive and there are certainly better tea places in San Fransisco.
Small Hole in the Wall on clement with some big flavors!!! The Mango drinks are really good, as well as the Oreo Milk tea. I have yet to buy anything else so I dont really know what else to buy lol but the drinks i do buy are always good.
Cute little spot. We came during the shelter in place and they are still open and serving drinks. Enjoy!
The tea is pretty good at this place. There are also snacks and other varieties of drinks. The milk tea is super smooth! Best place in the Richmond district.
I always come here and get the mango passion fruit green tea. So delicious!!!! Great service, is trendy and great people! They always remember my order and I find that really nice. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!!!!😋😊
I ordered a strawberry slush and asked for 0% sweetness and then I got my drink and left, I realized my drink tasted very sweet and soon after I looked at my receipt and saw it said 80% sweetness when I asked for 0%. So I went back to the tea house and said I asked for 0% and they said the lowest sweetness is 80% but no one told me that when I ordered it. So I asked to return it and they said I could switch it out for something so I got the Thai ice tea. The Thai ice tea is great and I appreciate them switching my drink for me!
One of my favorites is their matcha cheese creama with boba
Their tea is definitely high quality. My favorite is the high mountain oolong milk tea and apparently everyones favorite because they always run out a few hours from when they open! They dont water down their teas. Its perfect! They have definitely made great improvements since i first tried them out when they first opened.
This place will give you a feeling of 5 star lifestyle... Maybe 6! Seriously there are so many options if you are not happy with your tea its your own fault. The workers are very concise.
If you are looking for Boba in the inner Richmond Ive tried most of them. As a fellow Boba fanatic I can tell you this place is the best. Boba balls are prepared just right. They even have punch cards to get one free after you purchase 10.
My favorite milk tea place in SF. They brew their own tea bases and they are flavorful and different. The oolong is hard to get (they run out frequently) but it is delicious.
Me and my kid love coming here to order their giant fruit tea and the super orange tea. Their giant fruit tea comes with a fork because it’s a mini fruit salad and a tea in one cup and the taste is great very fruity and not too sweet.
Whats not to like about 18oz of frozen sugar??? One of the better boba places Ive found in SF
They are a small mom and pop store which I love to go to. The line on a nice day can be long but you can order ahead by phone.
Decent prices for good boba. My favorite thing is the $5 takoyaki. Cheapest I have ever seen and still delicious
Slow service but otherwise good. Drinks run on sweet side
Great wait time even better drinks. Is a little too small
Tried the M1 milk tea with boba and it was great!
The tea here isokay, but my last visit wasnt. I ordered an Orea Milk tea and after taking a couple of sips, I noticed that the milk tea tasted watered down. My drink tasted like crushed oreos in water. I went back in and mentioned this and the girl at the counter just shrugged her shoulders and asked me what I wanted them to do about it. As someone who works on food service and strive for the best customer service ever, I was appalled. This just made me feel like I wasnt a wanted customer. She could have just asked if i would like a refund or to remake it, but she didnt and had a bored look on her face. I got a fruit tea instead which was better but itll be a while before I try this place again.
Fresh Taro Milk Tea had no flavor and was gross. Boba itself was fine
You can tell that they use quality products, but the tea itself was just aight. Not impressed (with a yawn).#OneTwenty15Media #Combinations
I love this place! Great boba and their egg puffs are amazing.
Very good tea, and extremely patient and helpful employees,!
Amazing tea, you can sit here all day
Cute, tiny hole-in-the-wall boba place. Seating is extremely limited, only 3 stools available, but great place to grab a drink and go. Drinks are served on the really sweet side, but you have the option to specify % sugar. Drinks are served in the day cups like at Purple Kow, so be forwarded, they will not fit in your car cupholder! They do take credit card with no minimum, which is awesome, as well as do stamp cards (one stamp per drink!)
The boba tasted like it was like 5th time they had used the tea leaves. Super diluted and its as if they tried to mask it by adding way too much sugar. Boba/pearls felt like plastic. Such a cute little shop! I was pretty let down.
Drink came out fast, but 10 mins for popcorn chicken... lot of flour
Big fan of their ginger milk tea with boba! A fat cup of creamy, spicy boba that brings comfort to the soul.
We’ve been waiting a half hour for boba. Absurd
Came here today with my girlfriend. The store was hot, cramped, loud, and gross. After waiting for an insanely long time we just left. We asked about our tea but they werent even making it yet. This place is terrible.
Amazing milk tea and boba 😁
This is our favorite Tea House!
Because is very convenient
