This market has it all - from a friendly atmosphere to a wide selection of different products youd expect to find at a cornerstore. What sets it apart is the owner, George. Ive seen him feed customers dogs bits from the deli, laughing and joking the whole time.First time I walked in and asked for a sandwich, he asked me to come back tomorrow. He said they did not get their bread delivery, and the first time I try his sandwich, it should be on fresh bread. I came back the next day and boy did he deliver. Quickly made, generous portions, and quality taste has made me a huge fan. Id recommend this market to anyone!

When you’ve lived in San Francisco, and in as many neighborhoods, for as long as I have, you appreciate a good corner market. This is the one! These are the guys! I heart them.

All I know is I stopped in for a sandwich, and left with a big happy smoked turkey sandwich for 10$. Healthier and less expensive than fast food junk. Not only that,the owner allowed a neighbor to have their Amazon package left there. They better spend money!!! :)

This place is around the corner from us. Its a great place to stop in on the way home for one or two last minute items. Generally, reasonably priced, but booze can be pricey. Their deli counter is great and the guy who works there is always super friendly.

I love the staff here - always so friendly. I only live a block away and Avenue is my go-to for last minute essentials - forgot an onion or a lemon for a recipe? Run in and grab it. Theyve got a little bit of everything. A great place to grab a six pack or a roll of quarters.

Rolled in the middle of the night on a late work shift. Was a little skeptical deli looked a bit pricey considering I get extra avocado and extra cheese all in all came out to a very reasonable price under $10 including tip great quality great service very impressed take back any doubt I had walking in.

Nice cozy friendly and always have what you need.

My sister lived almost across the st from the store. i would usually spend the month of june in san fran with her; i loved the place, great sandwiches, selection of foods, and always very friendly to me, oh, and im from texas where we talk to everyone. love and miss that store.
