Every-time I have walked into this store, I have felt valued and received just great service. I came in as a walk-in, and was grateful they were able to accommodate me on a buzzing Sunday. Smiles, hellos, and offers of refreshment greeted me as I waited. The associate who then assisted me, Kim, was an absolute joy. Never rushed, took the time to show and try on me different styles; and all while having a really fun personable conversation. Kim really offered great advice, and his level of brand knowledge was impressive and really just made me fall even more in love with my new accessory. Even the wrapping, also amazing and an awesome keepsake. Coming back for my engraving (and to pick it up); Kims friendly service did not disappoint; and I really felt remembered, which is a great feeling coming into any brand/store engagement. He was able to work with the engraver to ensure that it was everything and more that I could have wanted. Bravo & thank you! Really made my experience...an experience. Not all that glitters is gold, Kim proves that.

We highly recommend Mr. JAMES WARD at this store. If you need someone who is can be trusted, caring, patience and experience for your jewelry needs then Mr. James will be the perfect person to look for. We moved to Indiana and we always come back to look for him. Doesnt matter how long we dont see him, but when we walked in the store Mr. James always remembered us and had a smile on his face. He always went out of his way to help us and made things so convenient for us. We greatly appreciate his excellent customer service. Thank you Mr. James for everything you did for us. I was in the market for a new watch recently and had the pleasure of being welcomed by Rand Stewart who provided exemplary customer service during my visit. I made an apportionment online and received a confirmation phone call from Rand the day before. Rand was warm and friendly which immediately put me at ease. When I arrived at the store the next day, I was welcomed by Rand who was ready to assist me right away. Rand is a true professional who has extensive product knowledge and an abundance of warmth and friendliness which made the experience delightful. Its clear Rand takes the time to listen and cares about satisfying his customers needs. I highly recommend asking for Rand the next time you need a Cartier product and you will not be disappointed.

Made an appointment to preview a new wedding band, went to Tiffanys a week back and didnt find anything. Our original SA was not available and Anna instead helped us with the selection. In between looking at a new ring, my wife saw a newly released bracelet. Anna was informative of the product line and origin (storytelling). Overall visit, had to order a ring cause my size was not available. Service was exceptional and as expected. Recommended to alway make an appointment.

Well let’s see.Walked in to take a look at a watch. Was told 5 minute wait, 10 minutes later nothing.Left because I was as in a hurry and told them that I am leaving because associates are walking around and ignoring customers.Instead of apologizing I was told they were busy.

I had a wonderful experience here when replacing my watch’s battery. I was particularly impressed by Rachel Collins who assisted me throughout the process. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. Rachel made what would typically be a monotonous errand a very pleasant experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit at this location.

My husband and I made a quick visit to this boutique. We were just visiting the area and we were pleasantly surprised by the level of service, attention and helpfulness by service advisor Rachel C. She was remarkable to work with and took the time to explain and show us details of all the items we were interested in. Her knowledge of the brand, it’s products and history is amazing. Jesse himself was incredibly patient with us as we were picking our rings, communicative when we had different sizes shipped into the SF location, and flexible when I booked a same-day appointment with him.

We drove for over two hours and had contacted in advanced. They charged my account while driving and was promised that everything was okay. By the time we pulled over they told me that I had insufficient funds in my account and the transaction was not approved. What do you know? They had charged me 3 times and finally my card had declined. I called the bank and they confirmed that they had received the funds, but they claimed that Cartier did not receive any money from us. They also tried different tactics to deny responsibility and kept telling us that bank is lying to you and we have not received any money. We showed them everything even took screenshots and provided to them and yet they had the audacity to tell us that it’s the type of card that caused this and I should try another card. You have my money and you want more? Avoid this location if you can. All I wanted was to give my wife a ring that she wanted on her birthday, now they took my money and I have no ring, and not enough to go purchase the ring elsewhere. You get the point if you made it thus far!

I went to this store on Sunday seeking a men’s tank watch alligator strap. Seems rather simple doesn’t it? I was asked outside the store “what kind of watch do I have ? To which I replied a Rolex, are you kidding? Did she mean which style? Ok finally this person let me in the store and a women who was older, gave me the look, you know the one, you don’t look like have any money look, maybe because you’re white look and proceeds to say NO to everything I asked. I went to buy a replacement watch strap which costs around 500.00 and she did not want to sell me anything. The worst service ever in retail. Ever!!

I am glad I picked the SF boutique for my very first Cartier purchase.I did a drop-in instead of making an appointment. Lana Koontz offered me help as I was browsing the watch selections. She was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. I had a specific model in mind before I walked in. But standing in front of so many choices, I got excited and wavered. Lana was very helpful in walking me thru the options. This helped me tremendously in making the final decision.The checkout process was pretty cool. Cartier offers tea, coffee, water (both sparkling and flat), and champagne. I drank flat water, but the other options were very cool. And I appreciated that Lana ran back and forth a few times to make sure the bracelet fits my wrist correctly. She enthusiastically said, Welcome to the Cartier family! I am sold. Thank you, Lana.I would say my purchase was small by any Cartier standard. But still receiving a total Cartier experience was a treat. I would highly recommend Lana Koontz and SF Cartier boutique to anyone.

This was my first Cartier experience, and I admit I was a little intimidated at first, but I had a fantastic experience with Mo, my salesperson. During the pandemic, the store is open by appointment only, so I made an appointment online, where I was able to specify what items I was interested in seeing. When I arrived, everyone was wearing masks and they had me sanitize my hands. Mo also made sure everything was sanitized before I touched it, right down to the pen I used to sign the receipt. She also gave me great input on which watch to go for, and Im really happy with my watch and ring! I asked if the watch came with a black band, so they are ordering one and will change it out free of charge when it arrives. My items were beautifully gift-wrapped, even though they were a gift to myself! Mo also registered my watch for me with Cartier Care (free of charge), which extends the warranty to 8 years.I feel like the pieces I bought were great investments, and I cant wait until I can (afford to) come here again!

Always a nice place to visit. And, they have some good cologne for men that is very reasonable.The latest visit is June 2021. The state just lifted the covid restrictions but the staff in the store are still wearing masks, using sanitizer and appointments are still required.And the fact that appointments are required makes it a very nice experience - you dont feel rushed, there arent a bunch of other people walking around and leaning over your shoulder.This visit to Cartier was a good experience. Snd it was nice to get away and go into the City. Were going to head up to Sausalito for lunch at the Trident after.

Reviewing a visit today, July 11, 2020, about a week after they reopened due to the pandemic. We made an appointment in advance to check out a necklace and bracelet. They opened promptly and checked in guests one party at a time. On entering, they politely requested that we sanitize our hands and offered Fiji or Perrier water. Then, we were taken to a table to try on the items. Yi-Chun assisted us with trying on items I saw online and then she also made one or two other suggestions. I actually chose the necklace she recommended because it was more fitting for me. Everything was sanitized and their cleanliness was like clockwork. Wonderful customer service and excellent products. Happy (early) Birthday to Me!!!

I feel badly about posting a bad experience I had w Cartier’s central ordering group, which badly botched a Mother’s Day delivery, with the SF store! Order from Mo! She is so on top of stuff you feel like she’s your personal assistant. Cannot say enough about her.

Service is what you would expect from Cartier. We had it aplenty. We were offered, water, coffee or champagne. We had a great experience with Ms. Long Ling, who was extremely helpful. Call the store in advance for an appointment, and ask for Long. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.

*Update* So two years later we decided to give Cartier SF second chance. We came Saturday about 2pm. Was not warmly greeted by the lady at the front desk. She told us that the day is fully booked and they won’t be able to help us. We went away disappointed. But my husband decided to try to make a phone reservation and guess what? They had an opening in 30 minutes! Cartier SF, why do you treat your clients like that? Long story short, when we came back in 30 minutes and had an awesome experience with SA Lana! Her customer service was outstanding! I would give her 10* rating. She really helped me to make a final decision about gold color and size. Thanks to Lana I have changed my attitude to Cartier SF. I still take one * off because of awkward “we are fully booked” situation.*First experience*Love the brand by itself. I was dreaming about LOVE collection for like 10 years. We were looking for our wedding bands. The sales associate was so reluctant. All SA had such mean faces and were pretending they are so busy. We sticked with Bvlgari because of much better customer service. This is how i declined my dream come true.

Ive been to many Cartier locations in different states before and Im sorely disappointed on how I was treated when I went here. The security staff was very polite. The lady who assisted me was a bit stuffy. Then while I was waiting for the sales associate to get something for me, I needed a tissue and when I asked one of the sales associates who were not with any customers at the time she actually huffed and said she cant deal with that right now and proceeded to go through her cell phone then walked away. Leaving another associate to help me out instead. For the life of me I wish I knew their names but I didnt get it. But the lady who was huffy and looking at her cellphone was blond with her hair pulled back and wearing readers. Will not be stepping foot there again and am glad I didnt buy what I went in to look at.

Cartier is French for something and thats all you have to know. Im sure its French for exquisite but more likely its for Carter.If youve not heard of the brand then why are you reading this? They have all kinds of mens jewelery. We went specifically for the Love Collection which is pretty popular. The love braclet is super popular and Fun Fact: men wear them too. Whaaaaat? An man? Wearing a bracelet?Back to it. They have a great store thats been there for about a year and a half now. The woman who greeted us was soft spoken and was not pushy at all. Really nice!!Its a great location and for the brand, the prices are great.

Based on recommendations, we booked an appointment with Lana Koontz and we were not disappointed. From the moment of the booking, Lana kept in touch with me letting me know how excited she was to help me pick out a new watch. I knew during my appointment, I would be in good hands.Upon our arrival at the store, Lana warmly greeted us, gave us a quick tour of the store and had even set aside some watches she thought I might be interested in. She answered all my questions about the different watches and helped guide to me my dream Cartier Tank Francaise watch and a lovely scarf for my mother-in-law’s upcoming birthday.The checkout process started with offerings of champagne, coffee, tea, water…of course I opted for a glass of bubbly to celebrate the purchase of my dream watch. Even though, by Cartier standards, we were not spending a ton of money, Lana (and the rest of the staff) treated us like we were spending a million dollars. Lana even gave me some complimentary Cartier stationary and some cologne samples for my husband.As she put my new watch on my wrist she said “Welcome to the Cartier family!” Lana made us feel like were really were part of the Cartier family and I know for certain now, that whatever future luxury purchases I make, I’ll choose Cartier.When you’re choosing to buy a luxury item, you should expect exceptional service. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced businesses to adjust to a much different customer experience. Cartier has handled these adjustments with class, style and grace. Booking an appointment is now essential to shop at the San Francisco Cartier boutique, but I would have done that anyway to ensure an appointment with Sales Associate Lana Koontz, who assisted me two years ago when I purchased my Cartier watch.Upon arrival at the store, I was greeted warmly by the staff (all wearing masks) and provided hand sanitizer and bottled water. During my appointment with Lana, she took the time to really listen to what I was looking for, and she found the absolute perfect ring for me. Every ring I tried on was carefully sanitized before and after to provide extra caution and safety. She also made sure my watch was cleaned and the battery replaced. Even though we are experiencing a pandemic, I felt completely safe and protected with the additional sanitizing and cleaning procedures Cartier has implemented. Following my purchase, I asked if it would be possible for the staff to call a taxi for me, but instead they ordered an Uber for me compliments of the store and waited with me on the street until the car had arrived. Thank you to the Sales Experience Manager Federico Sandino and the security guard for getting me safely home!Cartier is known all over the world for the excellent quality of their products, and I will vouch for that. But it’s truly the phenomenal service from the staff that sets Cartier apart from other luxury brands.
