Nice place to Get Donuts or Breakfast near a Exit freeway area in San Francisco, California it was open 24 hrs, Before, now they closed early around 4 p.m.

Not what it use to be doughnuts were not fresh not a big selection

I bought donuts there so many times over the past 45 years. Now its empty. Gonna be torn down.

There not all the same. This All Star at 5th & Harrison. Is old, ran down. Menu is very limited, I went at 8am, they less than a dozen donuts. I ordered an omelet that was over cooked. How do you over cook eggs??

I love this place! The food is great. The prices are great. The service is super friendly. I wish they were open later but I love their breakfast when Im up early or burgers for lunch if I make there before they close at 1pm.

Had their food for the first time last night and it was sooo darn good.Happy theyre open to 11. Its hard to find good food late in the evening.Theyve got super great chicken sliders and fries. Get someee.

Quick and easy. Not the best donuts, but it fills the need. They have a full array of menu items from lunch to dinner as well. I usually get a sausage breakfast sandwich and a maple donut.

Donuts are decent but I’d say along the lines of average. I had a cinnamon roll donut, raspberry filled and a filled bar. Prices are great. The facility is old and ran down. Staff is very friendly.

No fancy vegan donuts here, just classic delicious ones (if they dont sell out first). I was surprised to find that their breakfast sandwiches and other options, although seem simple are actually quite delicious! No microwaves here!

An awesome donut shop that serves quality yet economical and quick hot breakfast entrees as well. For $4.95 you can grab a Bacon or Suasage, Egg, and cheese sandwich thats makes for a great breakfast. For a couple dollars more you can get an egg plate or an omelette with hashbrowns and toast.

Just came by this place to grab a quick bite to eat before work. It was just around the corner from where I was staying at, so I decide to give this little mom and pop shop a try. I ordered a dozen fresh donut holes and a cup of coffee. I like that the coffee was self-served so that I could pour the right amount. The donuts were good but nothing special. However, the location was convenient and the food was cheap.

Dropped in on Mon I think. The staff was friendly and observant. It has a good feel to it.

This place always feels shady as hell. But its actually a good spot to get a double bacon cheese burger. They also sell teriyaki bowls and other delicious dishes. I think they are open 24 hours a day. I use to come here every time after going to dance at an infamous club down the street. Good late night spot pretty much.

This is an old school hole-in-the-wall counter-service establishment that seems like a holdout from the 40s or 50s with its sign advertising Hamburger Sandwiches. Its informal and a bit run-down but service is Jersey-diner or mom-and-pop restaurant friendly (the woman taking my order called me honey) and they even have a couple of parking spots (rare in this part of the city).They offer fresh donuts, drip coffee and breakfast and lunch items. Prices are quite reasonable and service is quick. The food is not going to knock your socks off, but its good and prepared to order.There is only a bit of seating available, but Ive never seen it crowded. I think most people do takeout, especially for the donuts, of course.

Nice portion size and taste of cheese burger with french fries. Good Cinnamon roll.Multiple choices of cold drinks.The lady at counter is obviously really tired but still trying to be friendly.Better take out than sit in, for the taste of food is much better than the looks of this donut shop.

Ive only ever had a good experience with the staff here, which is always a pleasant surprise in San Francisco.

Its an institution in the neighborhood. Its not clean, theyre not the warmest service youll find, and the fair is just so-so. But they are fast, helpful, and friendly when you get to know them. Sadly they attract a lot of the transient population and while its entertaining sometimes you never know what youre going to encounter here!

Staff is always timely even when they have a full house. Next time Ill be back with my friends. Menu is like a place in Miami I enjoyed

Decent donuts. A little pricey for just being a small donut shop and charge 50 cents more for using your card instead of cash. They have other breakfast options instead of just donuts too.

Nice peeps at the counter, but had one of the worst loco mocos i have ever tasted. rice was cooked unevenly, the burger was burned to a dry crisp, and the gravy was a weird teriyaki sauce. the eggs were the only part that were decently cooked/ edible.

I go here alotUPDATE: My rating was a 3 but I have to change that to a 1 due to the fact they have raised their prices more than once a year and now their food is more expensive theyre never open 24 hours anymore, any question is just met with nasty attitude and the quality of food completely took a nose dive, I was a regular but I advise anyone to save their money and go elsewhere

Its right near the highway and it is open 24/7. I used to work across the street for 3 years, so, it was a cheap, convenient, and tasty way to eat. Sadly, I gained hella weight and am now a diabetic. I dont blame All Star, though. My bad genes and poor discipline just couldnt compete.

I havent been back to this place in ages, and theres probably a good reason for it. The donuts are excellent and the service is, too, but the seats are kinda wobbly as are the tables. Also, take note venue owners, it might be better to tell homeless folks to come back later for the leftover goodies rather than have them hang out all day scaring customers away.

New policy they can only pay hand out plastic forks and knives which makes it impossible to eat breakfast when your paper like knives are flimsily stabbing at the rubbery discs in front of you, and you realize that this isnt maple syrup. Then realize that youre in one of the most infamous places ever been. I remember when it used to be open all night long and those Glory Days Are Over, now.. the food is suffering under a new generation of mediocrity.

They literally have everything. While the food isnt going to blow you away the variety will. I have been here several times and they are always open, usually visiting late at night. They have everything from doughnuts, to Chinese food, to wings, to burgers, to sandwiches, and more. Dont expect anything fancy but expect to get that much needed post bar food option for a reasonable price.

Always closed when i get there maybe its covid, maybe it is just slow business, but i want a donut.

Dont be put off by the less than stellar location, they make some of the best raised donuts in the city. The lobby does looks a bit rundown at times however they keep the food case clean and the back of house appears up to sanitary standards. French twists are my favorite, and if you love jelly donuts, know that they dont skimp on the filling. They tend to run out of raised in the early evening, but late night and early morning brings a fresh selection.

Lost cost quick and fast food services

The guy who works here is nice, but the donuts leave something to be desired. Possibly because they have too many other things on the menu (?). Also, they didnt have my favorite, cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles, so thats a strike. It kind of smells like urine, and their are flies. So sad.

Where are the donuts???Came in at 1pm on a Thursday. I saw sandwiches, ice cream, a few pastries, but ZERO donuts. No bars, either. Change your name if youre not going to carry donuts!

The service isnt bad - the people in there are friendly, but I saw the guy picking his nose then serving a customer, thats sick. Overall the place is pretty dirty and the muffins that I used to like, they stopped selling them. they do have cheap food though and its one of those places that even though I know I shouldnt, I will be back to.

Make sure to have cash handy. They dont much like plastic.

I first started coming to this All-stars Donuts in the 90s and practically lived on their Chicken Teriyaki Bowls. This was before Sirachi was a word known in every household. Well they had it then. Im not by any means calling this location a 5 Star dining experience. These chains are, after all, franchised but it really hit the spot when I needed it to. Donuts, hamburgers, fries, Teriyaki Bowls, coffee, beverages, etc.
