Melinda has been the best with helping us select lights for a large home renovation. We needed both indoor and outdoor lights. We had a complex outdoor lighting set up and she came up with a great solution. Everything looks spectacular!!

So. Many. Lights. So many different styles, sizes, etc. Id be really surprised if someone cant find what theyre looking for. Unless its a lava lamp. And who knows, I may have just bypassed them.The large selection is a bit overwhelming, actually, but the people working there are very helpful and friendly, and really helped us zero in on a few good options.

They have a great selection of lamps but so much more. Ive lived in SF for a long time and have only just discovered this neighborhood gem.

Better selection online than in the store, unfortunately

Lots of lamps and lighting. The prices were pretty tempting. We went looking for a very specific light bulb which they did not carry, but they were very helpful.

Very sweet employees here and holy lamps. All the lamps. Any and every lamp a person who wants lamp could want.In short..... my visit to this store just lit up my day.

Saleswoman didnt know what she had our what features different fixtures were required with. First told me the one I liked was not LED, then was out of the one she recommended, only to find out the original one was what I wanted and was in stock. Had a hard time understanding what she was saying too.

Good prices - much better selection/inventory of lighting products than other places. Generally provides additional (10%) discount on purchases.

Friendly helpful staff, range of products in store is ok, but staff helped to find options online, took care of orders and explained return policy - which is excellent.Thanks Rekha Solomon for great service

I have been to this place twice within the year, and both times they were not able to sell me what I wanted, not because they didnt have it, they did, but because they were doing inventory and could not sell it to me.just a thought, but maybe not doing inventory on a Sunday afternoon might be a good idea?

Nice employees. I was disappointed with the selection since they didnt carry any small or medium lamp bases. All of their table lamps were huge!

If youre looking for an engaging shopping experience, take youre quest for new lighting fixtures elsewhere. Ive wandered around this place on three separate occasions for 15-20 minutes before just walking out in frustration. I got better service at Lowes and Target.

Amazing customer service from Melinda who sourced an out of stock item for me on the phone. She called numerous stores before she found the outdoor lights I wanted. She then called me back to confirm shipping. Thank you Melinda for going above and beyond regular customer service. You Rock !!

Bad service

Lots of selection for wall sconces, but they were very busy on a Saturday afternoon, so we got no service the entire time. Finally bought 3 of the same light. They helped us and took the boxes to the car, which it was nice. Only when we got home and realized that they gave us the wrong light for 2 out of the 3.

Immense selection of lamps! Helpful employees. More pricey than Lowes or Home Depot light fixtures but we are happy with ours.

This store has a wide variety of lamps and lighting options, plus practically every bulb you might need. The also have some furniture displays among the rows of lighting. The people who work there are knowledgeable and provide great service.

Slow service. Good selection. Mid to high prices. Easy parking.

You should know what you want before you go because there isnt much help there. Also, the features of the items arent displayed so one is left to guess about what the features are. Perhaps one more reason to shop online.

Terrible experience, Nothing is in stock, they will try to place and order online, save yourself precious time and money and avoid this place!!! Just shop somewhere else, they will give you and estimate of 7 days, NOT TRUEE, more like 2 weeks, and to top it off they will Overcharge you, please check your receipts if you bought from here!!! Avoid this place. Trust me

I love that they still have a brick-and-mortar store. I like to see merchandise in person. Although you can order from the website as well

Lamps. They have lamps. Lots, and lots and lots of lamps.... this place has lamps. Plus, they have bulbs, as well as some furniture, some of which holds these bulbs... so.. in other words, lamps. Knowledgeable staff, willing to order things, non pushy, helpful and will even refer you to a non lampsolus store. It is a bit pricey... compared to the HD or amazon.

One star because their customer service is severely lacking. I called ahead to ask about an item and they said that they had it in stock, butdidnt bother to look, drove across town and wasted my time. Sales person seemed unresponsive to my comments about not bothering to check.
