Perfect little market. I come here for food to cover me for a few days everytime Im in SF for work.
Really awesome selection for such a small shop! And the owners are super nice!
This is the best market ever! First of all its bigger than a corner store so it has fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of cheese, some fresh meat like boneless chicken breasts and ground beef, canned goods variety of beverages . In short Bush market has all you need and more. Stay safe the store is not crowded like a large supermarket. Best of all the store owner and staff are so friendly. Last month l had some pomegranates that were over ripe and they were replaced immediately. Yesterday I was given a free baguette hand made at the market. Since Id never tried it the owner gave me one free to try! It was delicious.Bush market feels like the old days when people went out of their way to be nice. Finally the store has great hours. Please check it out!!!
Courteous employees, clean store & easy to navigate through.
Nice market and a lot of products.
Thank you very much for this grocery store, theyre doing great. Highly recommended!
Best neighborhood small grocery. If Bush Market doesnt have it, you dont need it! :).Especially thankful for their great fresh produce and fruit - always fresh!...and Bushs great for unique cultural spices/ food.
The advantage of shopping locally allows the staff to get to know your preferences. Theyve special ordered and held items for me. They are unfailing gracious and knowledgeable. Of course with lower margins there are somewhat higher prices. I think thats why theyre called convenience stores. Still and all they manage their perishable stick well. Theyve been a veritable public service the past few months.
Not bad
One of the best craft beer selections in the downtown area! Highly recommended!
Very friendly staff. Very well stocked with a large variety of fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats & canned foods. Also lots of plant-based goodies & healthy breads in the freezer section.
A neat little market that reminder me of being in Japan. Small aisles with a huge selection of fresh produce, packaged food and alcohol. A good spot in Knob Hill that is close to all the action!
Fresh and well stocked bodega (mini-mart) with prices about the same as Safeway
They have almost anything you may want from a local grocery store. Prices are reasonable and not super expensive like others in the area
Neighborhood c store, great selection and prices for sf. Beware the other c stores in the neighborhood... One of them doesnt post prices on anything then charges 3x reasonable price at checkout to prey on tourists. Bush market is great!
Great convenience store! Decent pricing
As someone who lives in Nob Hill, Bush Market is my favorite place to do small grocery trips. They carry plenty of vegetarian options, which is hard to find at other corner stores in the area, and the staff are always friendly. Definitely a neighborhood staple.
Happy to find what I needed in a pinch at a good price. Friendly too!
Friendly people at checkout and always surprised to find some spiciest for my Indian dishes which are usually not available in any usual grocery store in downtown. Good place good people and always go for some donuts they got some of the best tasting donuts for sale
Great place, always fresh produce, good variety and clean.
A great market with amazing selection for a corner store. If they get to know you, they might be able to order something youre looking for! They have really high end stuff (like eggs and organic veggies) so its not super cheap but I found the prices reasonable for the area.
Bush Market has a lot of everything, to include fesh produce, and the people are super-friendly.
Amazing supermarket. Really good snacks. Not bad hours.
Cute little corner store with nice selection!
Great selection of food, snacks and beverages. The opening hours are perfect for a spontaneously shopping throughout the day in downtown SF.Recommended for sure.
Great neighborhood market. Well stocked and clean. I was able to find everything I needed during my stay in the city including some local beers.
Huge selection of goods and the cashiers are beyond professional. their pricing is decent and its location is very convenient.
Best grocer in the neighborhood. Has more organic than most places, as well as Certified Humane meat and eggs. They cram a lot of stuff in this little place! Pretty good produce selection and very friendly staff.
If you live in the neighborhood, this place is clutch. Yes it’s a little more expensive than Trader Joe’s or Safeway, but proximity is key. They have a surprisingly vast selection of inventory from cheese and wines to a large variety of spices and household items that you don’t realize you need until you do, like toilet paper and draino. Plus they are open late and very friendly. Overall, this place is great for picking up ingredients for dinner that you forgot.
Hands down my favorite neighborhood market. They’ve got what you need, day or night, and everyone who works here is helpful, friendly, and funny. Yeah, it’s a little more expensive than Trader Joe’s, but that’s what you pay for convenience and supporting a great local owner!
Very well stocked selection to choose from, staff is super kind and helpful!
Absolutely the best deals on six packs of cold beer in San Francisco. Lately, its Trumer Pilsner for $6.99... By the way, this is a large store, so they do sell other things.
Always fully stocked.and has a great staff
Great neighborhood store. They have a little of everything.
Still charging for bag fees during the pandemic. Profiting on sickness.
This is our go to place in the neighborhood. They have a wide variety of food and drinks available and the nicest people.
Very helpful to get some water and food from nearby hotel.
Best market on Bush St. Everything you need in one small store, even nice produce and liquor selection. Prices are a little high. Open until 2 am.
Small Mom & Pop place with higher prices. BUT, very friendly and helpful. 3.4 is my actual ⭐ rating.
Great market, friendly staff, super convenient. Good for picking up breakfast materials in the morning or grabbing a coconut water on the way home from the bars.
Good market, semi affordable, but very close to our hotel.
For this kind of market they have almost everything youd need to make a good dinner. I generally use this place as a I need one or two ingredients to make this stop. Ive yet to be disappointed by their selection, and the people are friendly and helpful.
Perfect neighborhood market.
Great little market with a surprisingly great variety of options. We stopped in to pick up some wine and cheese and were pleased with the quality and options.
Great selection of food - this is the go to place!
Ernie is the greatest! :-D
Really nice staff, good service.
Small local market has wide variety of products, from fresh produce to all sorts of international food basic ingredients (Japanese, Mexican, Italian, etc..). A bit pricey compared to supermarkets but always reliable for last minute buys.
Perfect for picking up everything I needed to make a salad for lunch, and stuff for dinner too!
Great selection. Excellent staff.
Very convenient market on Bush St. It has a lot of groceries at a slightly higher price.
They have quality, organic food, and a great selection.
Convenient and hard everything we were looking for!!!
Best neighborhood organic grocery store the owners and staff is awesome
Bush Market has been my main source of groceries for about 5 years now. There are plenty of other markets within 5 blocks, but I come here for the friendly staff and good selection of items.
Local grocery store with decent selection of items
Plenty of variety. They ordered sliced mushrooms for a show that I attended. The mushrooms were ready every morning when the store opened.
Awesome store. They have a lot of the everyday things you need.
Good for quick shopping
Great vegan options!
Great little gem !
Great place to buy things

Its a small grocery store. What were you expecting?
If you want beer, price is much more normal here. Food is expenseive here as is all food downtown.

Great store, it works for a long time, there is everything, prices are reasonable))
Fairly well-stocked food in downtown San Francisco, albeit a little pricey.
A super market that is doing late. Variety of assortment is abundant.
Quite complete
Unusual supermarket
