They dont serve food or drinks but the main attraction is the private booths anyway. There are a couple main reasons its four stars and not five stars: First is that there are no song books that list by artist, just by song title. Second is the song selection is fairly limited. Some songs or artists that could (subjectively) be called karaoke classics arent available and the updated pages at the back of the book only have more recent top forty types. But overall if you dont want to wait for others in a public stage karaoke venue its a great place.

Chill spot, private rooms are a plus. Not a huge selection of songs, but many new songs. Came here because they had tagalog songs, too. Love that we allowed to bring our own food and drinks ;) not super bougie but it was perfect for the night we needed. we came at night so parking was pretty easy.

Great inexpensive karaoke place in Japantown! They let you bring your own food and drinks which is a nice plus! The sound system and the room itself is a bit old, but the price and being able to BYOB more than make up for it!

Such a fun place to spend time with friends! Just keep singing 🙂 You have your own individual room so only your closest friends have to suffer your voice!

A perfect spot for karaoke which is close to Japantown to make it convenient, but just far enough to make it not ultra busy. This place always seems to have a spot open (because it has a lot of rooms), and it is very reasonably priced. The song selection is slightly outdated, but includes most of the classic songs you’d wanna sing anyway.

Imagine a karaoke place that has the bare minimum and has current music. The only thing missing is in house drinks and food. But that is no problem at all since there is a corner store right next door and the karaoke owner says its alright to bring your own drinks and snacks.Yep, a chill and tad run down place with a Korean keyboard. Of course, the biggest song book is in Korean but they still have Chinese, English, vietnamese, and others. Definitely check it out if you want a cheap place that will let you bring your own drinks and snacks. Also their dog is super cuddly and chill.

The book isn’t as deep as others, the set up is nothing fancy, but bring your friends and your favorite cold beverages and enjoy a few hours here if you like karaoke. You will find something to enjoy, I assure you

First hour required for reservations. $60 per hour for large rooms (12ppl). Old equipment and music thats at least a few months behind, but BYOB and outside food allowed as well! No complaints

Weird little place. No service really but you can bring in food and beverages. Sound is good. Songs need to be updated some

The reception is nice. The space is fine. Its cheap. But...the music selection is absolutely pathetic. I have a list of 30+ popular songs that have been available at every single other karaoke place Ive ever been (Beyonce, Amy Winehouse, MIA - pretty standard musicians). None of that was in the (paper- seriously paper?) catalogue here. You know how popular musicians have 2 or 3 hits per album and 7 songs no one ever hears. Their selection is those 7 songs. If you dont have songs to sing, you cant really have a good karaoke night. Go to another place unless you want to be disappointed.

Not very expensive for karaoke, they have some reasonable sized rooms for the groups. The sound proofing between rooms isnt perfect, but it is fine. The system is a bit older and a bit cumbersome to find music. If youre thinking of only singing in English, then they do have some updated songs, updated monthly. I was looking for some songs in Chinese and most of the songs were from 15+ years old.

Great for late night karaoke. No frills, no drinks service but reasonable price and many songs. Songs are in books sorted by song name with extra pages for newer additions.

It had a wide variety of music selection to Karaoke, but I the place was a bit dirty for my taste. We had a fun time though.BTW, we paid $110 for 2 hours, among 10 people. I dont have anything to compare it with, but I think that might be pricey if only few people go.

To be honest, wasnt impressed by the service and machines rendered as a karaoke place. Song choices are limited and hard to find, rooms look a little dirty and eerie, system that they use is mediocre, screen for lyrics is just a rolling movie thing that has zero relevance to the lyrics, prices are relatively high, and worst of all they dont serve alcohol here. The entire experience was not fantastic, and I probably will not come back again.

Visited here recently, and felt strange because they actually locked all the doors... pressed the bell anyhow (it said it was open), but they looked down us and said they dont want us to be here LITERALLY and maybe we drank before. We said we are find (actuall we were really fine), but they said they are also totally find and Please leave. So strangy and wont visit again. NEVER. They just judge customers without any specific reasons.

The karaoke system here is complex enough that youd be better off looking up Taylor Swift Blank Space Karaoke on youtube and yelling at your TV while bouncing around your living room. The system is mostly in korean and the TVs that display the lyrics are CRT at best. 2 stars for being able to change the key of the song on the fly to mess with you friends, as if they werent wildly off key to begin with.

I love this place! Its a nice cozy place to go with your friends, has good availability and is a more affordable option than fancy Pandora in the middle of the unfancy Tenderloin. The song selection is a decent mix of all genres and the system equipment works well (no funky slowness of voice distortions). I love having it close by.I started karaokeing over a decade ago in Korea Town, L.A. and have lived in Japan, karaoked while traveling in New York. My perspective is diverse but my expectations are reasonable. I think this is a great place for what the S.F. area offers. Also, the couple the runs it some nights is super sweet - the guy even went out to check on some random SF style delinquent who was yelling and hitting stuff. The guy wasnt harming anything, just walls and stuff, so he let him be, but said if hed been banging cars hed call the cops since it could be the cars of his patrons. Very thoughtful and smart business to look after your customers!

This place is very dirty and dingy, and there were ants all over the place. In the music binders, on the couches, just everywhere. I have some bug bites all over my hand and back of my legs now from being at this place for 2 hours. It was cheap, but I regret going for sure.
