This is one of my favorite shops in Istanbul and I always take my guests there. Their products are really high quality: I have about six pairs of their shoes and always want more. I have a couple of yemenis from other places, but they get crinkly and fall apart, whereas my Rafiks are still going strong. Theyve also made a couple of custom-made pieces of furniture for me: it was great telling them exactly what I wanted and seeing my idea come to life.
Very bad attitude to customers especially when you try to haggle. My wife wanted handmade shoes I was 50tl short. Wouldnt accept anything less. Only because my wife wanted the shoes I ended up going the next day, the customer service was even worse than the day before. My wife didnt even get a thank you. Good product but customer service not worth looking inside the shop. Keep out!
Bought the blue one from the shop yesterday because the store clerk says its handmade, the price is 380L=25 Euro. Today I went to the grand bizzar which is a very touristy place, I found almost the same one(bit larger), it costs only 40 L=2.5 Euro. the quality. I brought it back to the store and ask for a refund, and they immediatey changed their attitude from yesterday...... so sad. Look elsewhere really, not worth it.
Love my Rafil slippers. Wish I bought a white pair of the closed shoes. Appreciated the cute tote bag it came in. Bought an adorable silk scarf too. Recommended independent shop in Galata.
I really like their specials! Am even eyeing their jumpsuits! The shoes seem to be of high quality and will be great for my summer barefoot journey!Edit: 03/25/2021Wore them and honestly like them better than Charix brand! However the grip on nyc subway platforms is not so great but i dont mind since the comfort is so perfect!!!!
Love their Rafiks and the artisanal home goods and jewelry that they have. A must stop in Istanbul.
Superb shoe shop and accessories handmade! ♥ ️
